The location is a little out-of-the-way and in a historic old industrial building, but well worth a visit. This was our second time visiting and both times it was to pick up handcrafted drinking glasses. This time we also picked up three Christmas ornaments. They also craft bowls, jewelry and vases. Items are unique, and as to be expected, a tad expensive, but well worth the craftsmanship involved.

I had a ball with my ornament class. I hand Emily and she is amazing!! I cannot wait to pick up my ornament this week. Staff super friendly and kind. I recommend this place! They even have glass blowing classes!!!!

Beautiful gallery with a wide range of types of pieces, functional to decorative, in a wide range of prices, as well. So, if you're shopping for gifts, there are paperweights for $30-some to beautiful decorative urns for several thousands! I was on my way to dinner next door, but when I saw the elegant hand painted sign on the brick wall, I delayed my meal and went in. Now I'm scrolling through their website wondering when I can fit in a workshop or two!

Shock your friends and impress your lover by spending an entire afternoon learning to blow...glass that is! The Corradetti Studio and Gallery is Baltimore's premier destination for learning the fine art of glassblowing. I have been to a few mini-workshops and have absolutely adored the experience. The workshops focus on creating small objects which will give you the opportunity to blow through the pipe and learn the introductory aspects of the process. The workshops focus on simple objects like paperweights, flowers, and other shelf-beautifying trinkets. The instructors handle the difficult aspects of working with the molten glass so that you can focus on your technique then marvel as the teacher works. Naturally, every student goes home with their creation, a lovely object that is sure to become a conversation piece. It's fantastic fun for ages eight and up. You get around an hour of instruction for $35 - $55, depending on which mini-workshop you choose. If that seems a little steep, they have group mini-workshops at a discounted rate for parties of eight. For those 14 and up, who absolutely fall in love with the process, Corradetti offers a range of courses: Beginner Glassblowing I, which is 6 hours of instruction working on solid shapes and cylindrical structures; Beginner Glassblowing II, where the technique is strengthened and larger objects are undertaken; Intermediate, which incorporates shaping techniques; and one-on-one instruction. Classes are longer and more intensive than the mini-workshops and, therefore, run around $200. The private lessons are $90 an hour with a two hour minimum. After class, walk next door to the Woodberry Kitchen, whose light fixtures were made at the Corradetti Glass Studio. You'll be inspired by what a great glassblowing artist can do and be wowed by the fresh, local ingredients.

Beautiful gallery next to Woodberry Kitchen. I love glass everything and Corradetti offers beautiful items. I definitely have my eye on vase or two. There also seemed to be a class or workshop going on when we visited. Shop part is small, but well-stocked. Staff is friendly.

Corradetti is a great place for Ladies Night Out! You must attend the wine & cheese glass workshops. So far I have made a beautiful flower for Mother's Day (Mom was impressed!), a pumpkin for Thanksgiving, an ornament for my Christmas tree and most recently a beautiful Easter egg. The staff is very helpful, friendly and I have learned a lot from them about glass making.... and not to mention that I have also purchased some gorgeous one-of-a-kind hand blown drinking glasses. Each one is a work of art! Can't wait to attend the next workshop!

Recently participated in the ornament blowing workshop. When we arrived it was easy to check in and grab a glass of wine. My friends and I watched for a little before we were able to take part. The one problem we saw was that the glass blowers did all the work, told people to sit down and blow. There was very little interaction so when it was our turn, we asked for information about the process and an explanation of what we were doing. The person we worked with had very little patience. At one point when we asked questions, he reminded us that there were a lot of people waiting behind us. If you ask me, for the price we paid, there should have been more interaction. It was a fun experience but unsure if I would return again. At the end of the workshop I even asked a question to which the reply was: if you want all these questions answered you should just take a class. Doubt I want to do that after the attitude I received the entire time.

Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Corradetti, I want to thank you very much for the tears of joy the wonderful hand Blow Jewelry has brought to my family and friends. Since the first time I saw the what I call the tear drop earring that you have in your studio I new that they would be a perfect gift for my daughter in law for her birthday. She absolutely loves them and wears them a lot and she still get compliments on them. I have been in your studio on several occasions to buy gifts for my friends. I recently bought two more pair of earrings. One of the clear color and one that has that fabulous blue color that looks purple in the light. The clear earrings were worn by my co worker who got married this weekend and wore them in her wedding. She cried when she saw them before the wedding and everyone loved them. The blue earrings are on a cruise and are being worn by a special friend of mine who is with her new old Bo that she lost contact with over 20 years ago. And yes she cried and so did we all. It's a wonderful story behind these earrings and our hopes for them on there cruise. Maybe a wedding proposal. I' keep my fingers crossed. I held my wedding ceremony at Glassblowing Studio and Gallery on Friday night. The groom and I took advantage of the summer discount where the venue is cheaper because it does have air conditioning. We were drawn to the studio because it was already decorated, came with a sound system, and provided a modern feel. Julie Corradetti was a pleasure to work with. As an added perk of the venue, I commissioned glass flowers and boutonnieres instead of using a florist. We ultimately passed on holding the reception there because we preferred restaurant food to catered food. This meant we also used the restaurant's parking (La Cuchara down the street) rather than the gallery's required valet. My guests found the setting stunning and unique, with its soaring ceilings, exposed stone, and wooden stage. The steps from the store down to the center of the room and then up to the stage provided dramatic entrance possibilities and yet the entrances from the side allowed it to be handicap accessible. Our 50 guests took up about half the floor area lending a welcomed more intimate feel to the event than I anticipated. Highly recommended.
