My 400th review was reserved for a very special business. I'm thrilled to showcase Everyman Theatre! After Sunday brunch, my partner took me to see Queens Girl: Black in the Green Mountains. This 1 (wo)man play was highly entertaining and inspiring. It's a story of self-discovery at a time when racial tension & ignorance were at an all time high. We sat front and center but there is no bad seat in the house. Everyman Theatre has been delivering high quality performances over 30 seasons. They have a professional cadre of actors who perform on a regular basis throughout the season. Additionally, community access & engagement are also cornerstones of this theatre. Each play has "pay what you choose" tickets available so finances won't be a problem. Sad, I'm really late to the party. However, Go! Check out a play, take a class, become a sponsor, and donate!!! You will thank me later.

We had a really fun experience here last night! The 4 person cast of the play Primal Trust was phenomenal. The facility is very nice and the rest rooms were clean. There is a box office for will call and small bar. The theater is smallish of course but intimate. We sat in the front and realized that it is "tight" up there with little leg room and you are looking right u at the actors on the stage. it was still nice, but for those looking for more room or space from the stage, make a note. We plan to return for the next play!

ET ! Is one of Baltimores hidden gems! This theater puts on amazing productions! The resident artist are extremely talented, funny and witty. I love that the theater brings modern and fresh takes to their shows. I recently saw the murder mystery there and loved it! The theater itself is very well maintained, has a bar and light bites to choose from. There is ample parking on the street or at many of the garages where they also have security. I have enjoyed seeing plays here during the day or in the evening. I highly recommend if you are looking for something different and unique to do! It's great for a date night, solo date, when friends are in town or just because!

I've been to Everyman Theatre twice now (last year for Dial M for Murder and this past weekend for POTUS). Both shows were great. I love that they have a resident ensemble of actors and that their performances are so local (the sets are made locally, the cast is local). And the theater itself is great - small-ish, intimate, short lines for the bar, enough bathrooms for the size theater, and so on! I don't love its location - not many bar or restaurant options for dinner before or drinks after a performance. But there is street parking or garages nearby (I typically Lyft to the theater). Definitely a great, very local theater to support in Baltimore. We're lucky to have it. Check it out!

I first went to Everyman Theatre for a Yelp Elite event over the holidays, and I was astounded by the set design and the quaint theater. There is a residency of cast, and we went back recently to see POTUS, and I LOVED every minute of it. A very short play, 90 min total with a 15 min intermission. There are bathrooms on the 2nd floor and the basement, so there's never a super long line. Everyman is amazing because they create their sets and costumes, they take so much pride in the production. I always end up ubering here as the location isn't great for parking but you can plan ahead and probably do a spot hero or garage. The theater itself is super clean and well maintained, they have a bar with play specific drinks and your standard beverages of hard liquor and wine. They do have a water canteen which is great and you can take your beverages into the theater. I love the art scene in Baltimore and we are so lucky to have so many options for theater!

Went to see Dial M for Murder here last night and loved it! Very nice theatre and layout. Just like the other reviews said it's an intimate theatre and every seat seems to have a great view! The seats are comfortable and spacious, especially for larger and/or tall attendees. Restrooms are clean. Staff here are great! The play itself kept me on my toes! The acting was amazing too! There is a convenient parking garage across the street as well as some street parking. Truly blown away that we plan to continue to support and patron this Baltimore gem!

This was my first time at the Everyman Theatre. I usually patron a nearby theater that has Broadway Across America shows, but I find it uncomfortable in terms of seating and stairs, etc. This theatre was very comfortable! It was easily accessible on Fayette Street with several parking garage and street parking options, had a quaint lobby with a bar, and ample seating in the theatre itself which was climate controlled and had plenty of leg room. It's a more intimate space so every seat in there had a good view of the stage. I saw The Book Club Play which was very good. Lots of laughs. The resident actors were fantastic and the set design was impressive (and built onsite). The lobby bar was fully stocked and offered several The Book Club Play themed cocktails. I will definitely start coming here for theater. Such a great introduction!

Really cool experience for my first time here! Got tickets for the Dial M For Murder show happening right now and it was beyond what I was expecting. The theatre itself is so nice I don't think there's such a thing as a bad seat in that room. Would recommend this place to anyone!

What an amazing local gem! The in house cast are amazing, the play selection provides variety, and there is not a bad seat in the house! This is a very intimate theater that caters so that everyone regardless of income range can experience the arts - hence the name - it is for every man! I've seen POTUS, Midsummers Night, and Dial M for Murder and I'm going to see And then there were none in December! Can't wait!

Yes, it was my first time to this venue. It appears that every seat in the house offers an excellent view of the stage. The subject matter of the play was rather serious, but the actors gave a world class performance hats off to the cast of "Who killed Virginia Wolf"!
