After looking for a decent hotel in the area last minute we came upon this location for a birthday celebration. They have the standard breakfast offering, and some other amenities -but we were bummed they had closed the pool w/ no notice or sign. Purposely picked a hotel with a pool for my baby sister only to find out that wasnt an option which sucked. Its an older hotel in the inner harbor area with updated rooms; but not so updated elevators lol. Got sent to the basement by accident trying to go up twice, as they are olddd elevators. There was also a room deodorizer or scent spray of some kind that irritated us? Not sure what that was. The parking situation was interesting..a separate company handles the valet. so PMC is who will put the cars in the garage. But when you pull up to any hotel in a city valet is usually outside ready to do that and they weren't.. so we were waiting with a few other cars of people who were confused. This really isnt the area to hand your keys to whomever and maybe needs to be managed by the hotel. Overall there were a few things we were willing to overlook, given the quick booking. But there are certainly nicer Hilton locations in the area.

Need to stay downtown in the city, this is a decent place to try. It's not a very fancy hotel but it does the job. They offer breakfast from 6-10am. They had several options for everyone. Waffle maker, eggs, bacon, potatoes, several pastries, yogurt with toppings, oatmeal, and several juices. They have a workout center and a pool. The pool I was told would not be working until the next day due to the heating mechanism. That was unfortunate. The room I stayed in was nice but did some updating. I'm the shower the place you can put your items was hanging off the wall. One of the towel holders was also hanging off the wall as well. The bed was very comfortable. Had a decent TV, wifi, and food options. They also offer valet ($47 with tax). Dropping it off was fine, but after getting my car back whomever parked it or pulled it up messed with my seat settings. My car has the option to save your preferred seat option and they messed with that as well. Wasn't too happy about that. Also you have the option to schedule the time you want your car ready. (I was told to give them at least a 10 min buffer) well I did that and when I came down, the guy told me to look outside and see if my car was there. I looked and it wasn't....so he went to go get it. It actually took another 14 mins for him to come back with the car. Very confusing process as I was hoping it would be seamless. The lady that was working that morning as well was on the phone while I was awaiting my car and two others were waiting to hand their keys over. Normally you would pause the conversation to assist but she just kept going. All in all it was a decent and safe place to stay if you are just looking for a place to lay your head while in the city.

Only stay here if you are comfortable with a heavy scent of Room Deodorizer. As the windows don't open, we had to prop the door open & turn on the AC in an attempt to rid the room of this odor. Breakfast is standard motel-level fare... except the oatmeal, which was good. The best part of staying here is the quick walk to the Inner Harbor, which has lots of boutique restaurants, the National Aquarium, and sightseeing boats.

The stay at this hotel far exceeded my expectations. My sister and her 3 children were in town for my birthday. My kids and I took the opportunity to enjoy a staycation. We picked this hotel because it's walkable to the inner harbor. Loved that we had the truck parked and walked everywhere. We got adjoining rooms (one corner room). The rooms are spacious with comfy beds. Everything was super clean. The building itself has interesting finishes. The boys enjoyed the pool and the adults were grateful for the free breakfast. The hotel is very close to the aquarium, a CVS and many resteraunts. The valet was so efficient and the hotel staff were super kind and responsive. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars was because the breakfast could improve. The waffle irons all stick even when sprayed. Perhaps adding a few more items to breakfast would be helpful.

I came to Baltimore for a convention and try to always staying at a Hilton hotel but they were so many and I actually chose this one by mistake but it is quite nice. It's an older hotel near the harbor very clean nice big rooms and an excellent staff. They've been nothing but accommodating and the breakfast is still the same as it used to be prior to Covid and I am actually a Hampton Inn fan because of the beds. They have the best beds ever!! They also have the small grocery area by the front Dess to get snacks and drinks which is always helpful and has a diamond member you get free water and a little extra attention if you need it. Price points were a lot less than the neighboring Hampton or Hilton Garden or the downtown Hilton but I'm perfectly comfortable. Highly recommend!

I stay im hotels 1-2 times a month for work, and this is one of the best "utility" hotels i've stayed in a while. Its clean, modern, and the staff are very nice. The rooms have microwaves, dishwasher and a mini fridge (at least the one I stayed in). I would rate it a 8.5/10 and I would definitely recommend this hotel for business travel.

I would give this hotel a 5 star rating because the decor is beautiful. However, we were very uncomfortable. We were in a double bedded handicapped room the beds were extremely low almost on the floor. We asked the guy at front desk about it and he said all the double rooms were like that. I later called while back in the room because we just didn't believe that was true. Again, he said all the double bed rooms were like that. This morning before we left, we went got breakfast and ask another patron about the rooms. She too had double beds and she said they were normal height. As we were leaving the cleaning lady was cleaning the room across from ours and yes, it was a double bed room with normal height beds. So he lied!!

The absolute worse hotel I've stayed at in over 40 years. the valet charged me for 5 nights parking when I was there for 3. after receiving my final hotel bill of $803.27, three days later I was billed an additional $60.00. I called to ask how I got billed the additional $60.00 and they have been unable to produce paperwork reflecting this additional charge. So far I've only been credited one night of parking. When a hotel cannot produce paperwork for additional charges it's known as FRAUD. MY ADVICE DONT STAY HERE.......YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

We stayed here from a Saturday to Sunday. It is a very clean hotel offering valet parking for $35 a day. You do have the option to leave and return. Check in was quick and easy as we had paid on their website before our stay. They do require a credit card for incidentals where they hold around $80. Most hotels do this so no biggie. I was surprised at how spacious our room was. The king size bed was comfy, the bathroom is HUGE, water pressure decent and it was clean. Floors are hardwood, so bring your slippers if you don't like walking barefoot on a cold floor! The room includes a coffee maker and mini fridge; however, they do serve a pretty decent take-away breakfast beginning at 7 am. Prices are reasonable. We would stay again. Strict COVID practices in effect (as of our stay May 22). The valet guys are awesome.

My friends and I were looking for a hotel to stay at the night before the Baltimore City Running Festival. Hampton Inn was close and not too Pricey. $260 after taxes for a Friday night in downtown Baltimore. The hotel doesn't look like much on the outside, the lobby is very nicely decorated. A couple TVs, comfortable chairs. Valet service and front desk personnel were very friendly. Parking is $35. Average cost for the area. The continental breakfast was very good! A nice surprise. I was expecting the standard bagels, toast, pastry. Hampton Inn had cheese omelets, sausage, breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were yummy! Cereal, muffins, pastries, yogurt, juices, coffee and tea. The food was very fresh. Our room had 2 queen beds, I love Hilton brand beds! The room was a decent size, clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom was small but clean. And we really didn't need a huge bathroom. I definitely recommend Hampton Inn on Redwood if you're looking for a place to stay downtown. It's located 2 blocks from the Inner Harbor. Easy walk, with quite a few restaurants and shops close by.
