This is our second stay at LBH. It has pluses and minuses but overall we find it a good place to stay. And it is beautiful. Plus: 1) Centrally located, convenient to the convention center, inner harbor, public transportation 2) Comfortable beds, clean sheets, room safe, fridge, coffee set up (meager but present) 3) reasonably quiet 4) great lobby and lounge, with complimentary water in the lobby on hot days 5) mostly helpful staff (as everywhere, there are exceptions) 6) good floor access security 7) Interesting history and artwork (don't skip the ballroom murals.) 8) Ample storage in drawers and curtained closet. Minus: 1) The hotel could use a serious refurb. Lots of wall and corner dings and wear & tear. Nonworking ice machine on our floor. Insufficient electrical outlets for modern travelers. 2) Insufficient towels for a two person booking. We had to ask for an additional face towel, wash cloth, and pillow. all were immediately provided by the room staff in the hallway. 3) Not the hotel's issue but an issue for its guests - self parking is expensive and arbitrary. I paid $30 the first night only to have to pay a "late charge" of $12 to get the car out the next morning. The second night was $32. Parking not billed to room, it is run by either the city or a private vendor. 4) Check in is not until 4 PM. This is later than most places I stay. 5) Insufficient luggage dollies for a 700 room hotel (according to a poster in an elevator) and 2 of 5 elevators being offline meant getting room to ride to the lobby was a lottery (took five attempts my last morning.) Overall, we like the place. It just has some warts that are outweighed by its strong points.

We stayed here for one night when we were in town for a show at CFG Bank Arena. It's a boutique hotel, and you walk into the lobby, you get an old school feel. Speaking of the lobby, they have it decorated nicely with artwork for the holiday season. We saw there was time for us to catch happy hour when we checked in, so we grabbed some happy hour bites from the bar. I got the fried chicken sliders and hubby got the wings. Everything was solid, besides the long wait for the food and them telling us they didn't have to go boxes then miraculously giving us some. Now onto the room. The room was a decent size. I didn't care for the shower and the sink in the bathroom was slightly slanted, so things tended to fall over when I placed them that. Besides me being underwhelmed with the bathroom, everything else about the room was fine. I slept until 10:30am, so the bed must have been comfy. Oh the valet was unacceptable. We had to wait an hour for our car after checking out. This was after the original quoted time of 35 minutes, which was still ridiculous. So my advice is to text them way in advance before you check out.

Customer service: 4 Comfortability: 4 Cleanliness: 4 Staff: 4 Hotel facilities: 4 I made a reservation with the Lord Baltimore hotel while I attended a work related conference from June 23-28, 2024. This is a historical hotel in the downtown Baltimore area, and offers many accommodations for their guests. Unfortunately, this hotel doesn't have a hotel shuttle to/from the BWI Airport. After catching a taxi (+/- $40) from BWI to the hotel, I was greeted by a friendly bellhop attendant. The front desk staff was also very professional, and pointed out some of the hotel accommodations, local dining options, etc. The hotel is old in age, but has been updated for handicapped guests. Now upon entering my room on the other hand, I discovered that the rooms are definitely old and in need of some updates. The beds were comfortable, the WIFI was very strong, and the air-conditioning was working great. But as you will see in the photos, the maintenance and housekeeping staff need to report and repair some issues in the rooms. But on a good note, this hotel has a gym, business center, large classrooms, tavern/bar, a seasonal roof top bar, and a bistro & bakery. This was very convenient for guests that don't feel comfortable exploring the robust downtown area or the Baltimore inner harbor area. @glampedlife

We stayed here for one night since we were seeing a concert nearby. Checking in was a bit of a nightmare due to the valet situation. The road is one lane and there was no where to park because valet was so busy. We had to circle several times before finally being able to get in. The lobby is beautiful and makes you think you are staying in a high end location. The room we stayed in on the 14th floor felt more like a motel room. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was old and needed work. The AC never got that cold which wasn't the best. The staff was very friendly though. We didn't use any of the dining options but it seemed to have a lot of variety and was pretty busy.

*THIS REVIEW IS FOR ROOMZA* I was looking for a hotel near the arena for a show and came across a discounted portion of this hotel that is actually not associated with the hotel. Let me explain. Roomza is exclusively the entire 16th floor of the hotel. It is directly across from the arena and includes so many great amenities charging less than all other places nearby, that I thought it was a scam. It was through Priceline though so not an unknown site. When I arrived I pulled up to the valet and let them know I was with Roomza, they gave me a ticket and took my car. When I walked in the lobby there was a sign on how to retrieve my room key with a code however I did not get that in my email and someone directed me to the front desk where they just handed it to me and showed me the elevators. When I arrived on the 16th floor, there was a concierge who took my information, credit card for incidentals and told me if I needed anything I can text or call at any hour. When I got to my room it was more like a suite, a very large two queen bed room with a big desk that had pillow mist, a coffee maker, snacks and a stocked refrigerator with water and soft drinks, all free of charge and replenished upon request, cue head exploding! I looked out the window I saw the arena dead across the street. On the desk was a form with a QR to have a lovely breakfast for me to pick up in the morning, an oven baked vegetable frittata with home fries, coffee and fresh fruit. WHAT?! I told my friends who were in town about the lovely rooftop bar I scoped out and they came by and we had a couple of drinks at this adorable spot, complete with cornhole and nice seating areas overlooking the city. We went to the show and I returned later that evening to take a shower which was just OK, the only portion of the room that could use some improvement. I slept like a baby in one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept at a hotel. I went downstairs to retrieve my breakfast and that is where things went downhill. There were more than 20 people standing around waiting and complaining they did not get their food. I waited for over 20 minutes and finally flagged down a manager and told him and after another 10 or 15 minutes I still didn't have my food and just left. I was about an hour from checkout but starving and wanted to go get food so I asked the valet how late I could keep my car there and shockingly they told me until 5 PM! I went to Miss Shirley's, a spot not to be missed about half a mile walk from there, and returned for my car and left. Aside from the debacle at breakfast, this was an unbelievable stay for what I paid. I would definitely recommend.

We have stayed here a few times. It shows signs of its age and we kept commenting about how "dim" the rooms are, meaning they have just one tiny window that lets in almost no light because there is a building directly next door, and the lights are quite warm and dim. Some brighter, cooler LEDs would go a long way. But, they are centrally located an easy walk to Camden Yards, the arena, or the harbor, and the best part - they have a huge lobby area with a cafe and tavern, so it is perfect to sit and lounge if you need to. The bar has happy hour that we enjoyed. The hotel also has a popular skybar. We love the water they leave out, too, because we always need more hydration. So, overall we like it here and will be back.

My husband and I arrived Saturday after 4pm to check in. We ended up using the valet service for what was supposed to be continent until we waited 30 minutes for the car to be brought around for departure. Aside from that, the service overall was OK. House keeping never returned to tidy up the room, after requested. The bar was good, service was ok as well. Tried the flat bread pizza, it was pretty good. I give it a 5 star for location but the service and room should be worked on. Hopefully when we're back in town changes would have been made.

Booked a room for the ravens game through a third party upon arrival valet parking was atrocious. When checking in there was a sign posted "no hot water the following morning due to a city order". I'm sure the hotel had known about the city order prior to guest arrival. The room was dated and under whelming. Towels smelled of frying grease. Wouldn't recommend.

I stayed there recently for a conference. My stay was less than perfect. I was initially checked into floor 7, but when I exited the elevator on that floor there was a table set up and a woman sitting behind it and she said the floor was reserved. So I went back downstairs and waited in line (again) and the guy who helped me before said, "no its not" when I told him this, with the implication that I was supposed to go up there and fight with this lady about it. I asked for a different room, and he did it, but kept muttering, "the floor is open". Got to my room and unpacked and started to iron my dress shirts. The first shirt I went to iron got a nice stain on it from the iron. I tried to treat it as best I could, and could not get the stain out when I got home. I did not have hot water two mornings and had to take ice cold showers, one of my sink handles broke and folks had to come up to fix that, asked housekeeping for more body wash and didn't get any, and when I checked out the guy didn't ask the traditional "how was your stay" so I had to volunteer all this to him and he seemed not super interested. I wrote all of this into an email and sent it to their guest services email from their website and their emails. It bounced back. So I tried their reservations email and it also bounced back. I called almost three weeks ago now, no one ever called me back, despite my asking for a return call. The room was clean. I won't stay here again. Addition: You can see the hotel's response below. It's been over a month, and no one has reached out to me.
