I visited Ouzo Beach recently while I was wandering around Harbor East on a most lovely day. I figured a meal near the waterfront was the thing to do. And Ouzo Beach is very charming. Due to extreme sun on the available bar stools, I ended up at a table in an intimate corner. The bartender quickly provided me with water and a menu. I decided on the grilled octopus and Greek potatoes, plus a local beer. Overall, I really liked the potatoes but felt the octopus was overcooked and the portion was very small. However, I still very enjoyed my lunch and would repeat the experience.

Overall, I enjoy coming to Ouzo Beach on a nice weather evening for happy hour! The drinks are made well (bartender Steve is amazing and so friendly!) and I love how unique the flavors are. The spreads are my go-to snack. My only complaint is that when the DJ comes on, it's quite loud with the speakers blasting right at anyone sitting at the bar. Maybe I'm just getting old but I couldn't even hear my own thoughts and was screaming to talk to my friends. When I asked to move to a table near the entrance, the waitress was kinda rude and snapped at me saying, "well are you gonna order food???" I responded saying I already ordered food and was planning on ordering more. Not the best way to speak to customers that want to spend money but I'll let it slide. Our other waitress was nice and brought us delish Saganaki and dolmades.

We had a great dining experience on a Saturday afternoon at OB. It was crowded but we were seated right away in the cute seating across from the bar. We ordered the trio appetizer, calamari, salmon and a crab cake. The crab cake was one of the best I've ever had and you know I'm a crab cake connoisseur. Everything was great. Our server was very attentive. A very cute spot to stop at when you're going with the flow in downtown Baltimore.

Ouzo Beach is connected to Ouzo Bay; it sits across the street. It is strictly bar service; if you sit at the tables, you must order from the QR code. Vibe - very relaxing, Mediterranean-inspired, and overlooks Baltimore's inner harbor. It's beautifully decorated with stone and marble, and sort of has a villa feel to it. DJs are on the 1s and 2s Friday and Saturday evenings. On hot days, it can get packed quickly. The drinks are great and innovative. I've tried a few, but I am creature of habit -- I stick to what I like: Repo on the rocks or Sparkling Rose. Speaking of which, they have a great wine list. Because Ouzo Beach is a bar, leave the kiddos at home -- 21 and up only. Lastly, while Ouzo Bay is open year round, Ouzo Beach is only open seasonally. Ladies, get cute and sexy! Gentlemen, the look is "dapper." Get out and enjoy! Cheers!

Best Calamari I've ever had in my life! If you haven't been to Ouzo Beach you are truly missing out. My hubby and I stopped by on one of the hottest days of summer. Despite the heat, we had a great time. Nice breeze flowed through the pergola and we enjoyed nice views of the bay. The bartenders were fabulous and they even had a DJ. Not bad for a Sunday afternoon. Definitely felt like I was at the beach or a nice resort. We ordered their grilled calamari to share and let me tell you. We both had a hard time sharing! lol Fresh Calamari, grilled to perfect with capers , feta, mixed with a special honey mustard vinaigrette. Tasted more like a lemon buttery sauce with a kick of vinegar.....absolutely delicious! I ordered a club soda with lime and splash of pineapple, they accommodated me well for my nonalcoholic option. Much appreciated, it was refreshing. I will be back!

After careful review of the menu, I started with the grilled calamari, which was absolutely delicious. Cocktails were just as satisfying. Service was top notch.
