This place opened up sometime in September. So they are fairly new to the neighborhood. I noticed them immediately because they are in the path in which I walk my dog. Once open, I started to notice how quickly they drew a crowd in which made me immediately interested. I won a gift card so it was a clear sign to go and try out their food. Immediately you noticed how clean and new everything is on the inside. They do have outdoor seating and wish you could bring your dog, but I'm not sure how they're gonna handle it during the colder months. This place isn't that big and they filled up pretty quickly after 5 PM. This place is own and operated by the same people who run The other restaurant Riverside a few blocks up. The food was actually pretty good. All the ingredients tasted fresh like it was from the farmers market or something. I also enjoyed the fact that, even though I was sitting at the bar, I can see my food be made, and prepared, which added that comforting factor. The bartender Joe, I believe his name was, awesome and on point even though it was just him and one other person managing the whole restaurant that evening. Plenty of TVs to watch the game, they even had some low music playing also. I went on a Tuesday, which was the perfect day because they were having taco specials three tacos of your choice for $9 and the House margaritas were $6 with $5 beer. Their prices seem reasonable for the most part but I definitely see myself coming on Tuesday to get more bang for my buck. Drinks were made really good And too perfection. That dragon fruit margarita instantly became my favorite. If you're ever in the area and wanna grab a quick bite with a good bar scene check this place out.

Riverside Cantina has a laid-back vibe. There are four flatscreen TVs in great positions if you're sitting at the bar, but it can be tough to see them from the high-top tables. The garage doors are a nice touch that expand the restaurant's footprint and allows for easy outdoor seating at a few picnic tables. Lots of cocktail options, though it would be nice to see a few non-alcoholic options on the menu too. We started with the guacamole, which was a hit. Great flavor with crispy, addictive chips. Taco Tuesday is a good deal price-wise, but the tacos themselves could use a little tweaking. The meat was flavorful but overpowered everything else, and they were missing some key textural balance. I was hoping for a bit more onion for crunch or some herbs/veggies for freshness. It would also be nice to mix and match tacos, rather than needing to order the same type for all 3. Would love to see them work out some of the menu kinks so this spot can become a neighborhood staple, just like Riverside Taphouse, which has their menu absolutely dialed! Looking forward to seeing how this spot develops. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Riverside can do no wrong. Of course it's delicious. I got the southwest salad with chicken tinga and a side of chips. Amazing. The chicken tinga was flavorful , the salad is fresh and colorful, and having the chips just added the perfect crunch. I cant wait to try the rest of their menu.
