Met a friend here based on their recommendation, and we will now be ravenous repeat customers. Loved being able to listen to and watch the roasting while we snacked and chatted! The atmosphere is industrial but warm - a modern combination that I really enjoyed. Service was super informative and friendly, and the coffee exceeded our expectations in anticipated flavor notes. We ended up buying two bags of whole beans for home, and have become fast fans of The Ventilator. I look forward to attending one of their queer family dinners in the future.

The egg and cheese sandwich was perfectly made and taste so delicious. It has fresh stuffing with lots of cheese and ingredients were so good. Nice quality of foods. The coffee taste great and has balance flavor. The Honey Lavender Latte was really good and has nice taste. The place was wonderful with pleasant vibe. The setting was aesthetically good. Nice service.

I've been to Vent Coffee Roasters a few times and have always thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The staff is always friendly, and the drinks are always good. I'm a matcha girl and their matcha is tasty. Recently I visited Vent for a coffee roasters event presented by Sophomore Coffee and hosted by the Enoch Pratt library. This was a great opportunity to learn how some of the best coffee suppliers in Baltimore prepare and roast their coffee as well as an opportunity to really take in and appreciate the space that Vent offers. I love that Vent provides a space for other businesses to aid in a portion of their coffee production. I also attended the latte art competition during Coffee Fest at Vent. And let me tell you it was a pretty neat and intense competition between some of the best baristas. I whole heartly appreciate the artistry of latte art, because it does not look easy. Vent Coffee Roasters is a great coffee shop to stop in while at Union Collective, to just hang out and vibe or zone out and get some work done. And if they have their lemon sugar cookies in rotation, they are a must to have with your coffee.

Why haven't I ever paid attention to Vent Coffee Roasters? I've been missing out. I ordered a Cold Brew with cardamom syrup. It wasn't too sweet and the cardamom was subtle. To munch on, I ordered the egg and cheese sandwich on ciabatta. It comes with arugula and some sort of spicy sauce. Loved it! The staff member was super helpful. There's a few shared work tables and also a coffee bar to sit at and get some things done. I love the industrial back room feel of this spot as well.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this location! I was looking for somewhere to get some work done on a Monday afternoon when good neighbor (just down the street) was jam packed. Vent Coffee had a solid crowd as well but I as able to join someone at a shared picnic-type table. We each had plenty of space to get comfortable and get work done. I opted for a small, seasonal donut and did not purchase any beverage so I regrettably can't attest to the coffee itself. Nonetheless, it is quite cool and impressive that they roast coffee beans directly in the shop. Very soothing. Also, the name is intentional as the atmosphere and vibe welcomes you as you are. Need to rant? Cool. Need to vent or relieve some stress? Cool. Need to just..be? Cool. My kind of coffee shop! Can't wait to return.

Such a cool vibe and located at Union. Parking couldn't be easier. I feel like the baristas know what they're doing and every cup of coffee feels specially brewed and is really rich. I go here all the time with my coworkers when we need to get out of the office. Great place to catch up with friends, chat, work from home. It's a little small inside, but the vibes are great. It's industrial and every time I've been there there's always coffee being freshly ground, brewed, and you can see them all doing it with big machines over on the side. there's not a ton of places to sit inside. And my favorite thing about it is that they have oat milk with the half-and-half and you don't have to pay extra. Coffee is so good. It's so nice inside. Everyone seems very nice and polite.

Vent has been my favorite coffee roaster in Baltimore for over a year now. They offer a unique selection of beans that's frequently changing. I don't often stop by their storefront and get beans at other places that carry Vent, but I love stopping by. It's one of the first coffee shops that stayed opened later so I would come work here and they carry empanadas sometimes. The staff is friendly - they DO NOT give you a free cup of coffee if you buy beans like other vendors do but I love their coffee so it doesn't bother me. They do have a rewards punch card now. It's a small space with a light wooden decor. The parking in Union Collective can be challenging.

(1 stars for the drinks, I have not had any bad experiences w/ the workers) - the worst parking lot I've ever witnessed thus far in Baltimore, though this isn't their fault I was given a gift card here so I tried several of their drinks: chai latte 2/5 (nearly entirely milk based, small traces of chai) matcha latte 1/5 (tasted entirely milk based, no trace of matcha) apple cider latte (fall seasonal item, literally just hot apple juice)

Awesome spot at Union Collective! My maple latte (sub oat milk) was delicious and their Cortado was legit, too. Enjoyed grabbing a drink and strolling around the local shops. The day we went there was a huge craft fair. Definitely a great way to support local businesses!
