I parked my car here while out of town. I asked the driver, when he dropped me off, where to go for pick up. He told me to give the hotel a call outside of baggage claim. So I did just that. However, I was told upon my return that they pick up at upper level 15. I walked over a mile to get to the pick up spot. I do not mind walking but HAD I KNOWN, HAD I GOTTEN THE RIGHT INFO, this never would have happened. The hotel operator said all the drivers know where pick up is, which also insinuated to me the employee didn't believe me. Which is some bullshit. Why would I lie about this? I kindly asked the driver how to get picked up and that's what I was told. The mishap forced me to wait about a hour after getting to BWI. I won't do this again. The other hotels have more frequent shuttles. *THIS IS NOT ABOUT A HOTEL STAY, IS BWI LONG TERM PARKING*

We stayed at The Westin for a wedding hosted at the hotel, and everything about the evening was wonderful. The space was elegant, the event ran smoothly, and we felt well taken care of throughout. One of the biggest highlights? It's a truly dog-friendly hotel. They don't limit breeds or weight, which made traveling with our pup stress-free. She was cozy and content during our stay--clearly just as happy as we were. Another bonus: there are tons of great restaurants nearby. We ordered in and enjoyed a relaxing evening without having to venture far. Whether you're attending a special event or just passing through with your furry companion, The Westin makes it easy to feel at home.

I found the The Westin Baltimore Washington Airport - BWI on Spot Hero. They allow individuals to park for extended periods of time for an affordable price, with a shuttle to and from the airport. The hotel is off in the cut, kind of in a shady looking area by the woods. Were were surprised when we pulled into the parking lot and saw a Honda Accord sitting on four rims. I was kinda of nervous about parking here, but we had a flight to caught, so I couldn't think twice about it. The staff of the front desk was friendly when we checked in. They explained what we needed to do to park without getting towed. They also explained how the shuttle to the airport worked. The shuttle drier was kind and helpful as well. We came back from our trip with no damage to our car. We came to learn that thieves were only targeting Honda Accords and not other cars. So if you have a Honda....you may want to park elsewhere.

Typically I am a big fan of Westin, but this location falls short. I took the shuttle from the airport and was informed that there had been a problem in the kitchen, so it would be out of commission during my stay. Not their fault, things happen. It is an older location and is showing its age. It didn't help that when I went to my room, two of the lamps were out, he lounge chair was stained and rather gross looking, and for some reason, they had FINESSE shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. I didn't even know they made that anymore. The comforter was ripped and the stuffing was coming out. It was just not what you expect from a Westin. One thing that seems to be consistent, they have very comfortable beds. This was still true.

I usually only do 1 or 5 star reviews, but I did this one because this hotel could be something if it tried a bit harder. The location is really good, with a traffic free back road directly to the airport rental car drop off and pick up area. It has room service but I will get into that in a bit. We got there and I always reserve a room with a tub. The room had a tub, but no stopper for the tub. I asked the attendant at the front and she said she would contact maintenance, but since we arrived at 3am I knew that was not an immediate solution. To their credit the stopper issue was resolved before we returned on the first day. The hotel has good black out curtains, if you need to be able to sleep during the day. But it was like, they had seen first class service on the TV and were trying to imitate it but did not know how. Where this really came into play was the restaurant/ room service. The first thing I noticed was that the morning breakfast which has become a free perk in this type of hotel was $30 a person. That was the first clue. But we booked this because there was suppose to be room service. We had planned to do most of our meals as room service. We did room service for dinner the first night. The bill was $120.18. Now if the food was worth it, no problem, and the food was good, just not that good. But on top of that we ordered cheesecake and it did not come with the delivery, I had to go down and ask about it in my PJ's, She was going to give it to me to take back, and must have read the "You want me to deliver it after you charged me $22.40 for the service already?" look on my face and changed her mind to I will deliver it. The food came in disposable containers, no tray, no plates, it came like it was door dash. Room Service should be delivered on plates with dining utensils and condiments not it little packages. Visit a casino in Tahoe to see how it is done. They gave us water but it was not a glass with ice and an unopened water bottle, it was already in a plastic cup. I happened to set it next to my water in a similar cup (which was bottled water) and it was noticeably a different color, it was tap water. The food was not bad but it was way overpriced and the gratuity which was forcibly charged was inappropriate for the service rendered. I will attach a copy of the bill. The restaurant gets a 1 star, which drags the hotels rating down. Notice on the bill there is a "Delivery Charge" and a "Service Charge", The $5.00 sodas are regular cans of Pepsi. One good point the $5.00 coffee might actually have been worth it, it was a well done dark roast. BTW, we ended up eating the remainder of the meals at McDonalds (about a 4 min drive away), because of the cost of the 1 room service.

Tried it out again and had a much nicer almost weeklong stay. Everything seemed to be back in order. Great smell was back. Super comfy bed. Fully functioning toilet. Fabulous breakfast buffet and omelette station with wonderful service. Great home away from home.

This is a review on their airport parking option only. We paid to park here while flying in and out of BWI. I was told we need to call for pick up. I called 3 times from the time we landed to the time we reached baggage claim and no one answered. When we finally got through the manager was super sassy saying she's been manning the phones all day with an employee. This made me feel like she was accusing me of lying about calling. Separately, their parking form specifically says, "Pick up will be outside Baggage Claim area" and we waited at the hotel shuttle sign there. She then again sassily explains that pick up is at departure only and not arrival. I travel a lot and have never had a hotel do this. We would have had to travel all around the airport with all our luggage to get the shuttle back to our car. She then proceeded to condescendingly explain that I should have known this. She needs to update her paperwork that is given to guests and not be so defensive. Try to defuse a situation instead of amping it up. We love Marriott and this was not like the normal culture we see. We talked to another Marriott shuttle who came to the departure area and they kindly took us back to the hotel understanding we were in a tough situation. I will be sending a letter re the gentleman who went out of his way to help us. Thank you thank you!

We stayed here 6 times over Covid till July 2024. Pool has been broken since Covid, too many folks smoke (weed and cigarette) inside the hotel, carpet is so old they are screwed down so it stays in tact, parking is lousy when they have an event here (odd that they always turn off the lights in the parking lot when the place is full), base boards and wall panels are broken on every floor. Some rooms are very humid and smell of mold, not very clean either. Bottom line this place does not deserve to be a Westin, it is sub standard.

This was a disappointing stay. I have always associated the Westin with luxury. This particular location missed the mark. We spent four nights at this hotel. The main lobby and room were nicely decorated. Our bathroom wasn't cleaned very thoroughly though. There were hairs and water on the floor when we arrived. This made us question how clean the rest of the space really was. They replaced the White Tea Aloe toiletries they usually carry with generic dollar store offerings. Their signature scent that usually fills the hallways smelled off too. It was like perfume mixed with carpet mold or something. There were also abandoned beer bottles and drink glasses throughout the hotel that sat for more than twelve hours on several of the days we were there. The hotel generally just doesn't seem to be tidied very well. There is also zero room service before 11 AM even though they have an extensive menu in the room. They want guests to come down to the lobby for their breakfast buffet. This breakfast buffet is sad. $23/pp plus tax. There is one kind of meat (bacon), one kind of egg (cold scrambled/no cheese), potato chunks, yogurt, toast, cereal, juices, and coffee. That's it. For that price there should be an omelet chef, bacon, sausage, gravy, danish, waffles etc. Our breakfast bill for two people after tipping was almost $65 and we had one small plate each. We could have had a feast at any one of the offsite restaurants for that price. It's a bummer because we wanted to treat ourselves with this stay. However, I have had better experiences in Hilton Garden Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses. I would not return here.

I used this hotel as a reserved airport parking location while on a trip. The third party website "airportparkingreservations" has The Westin listed as a location close to the aurport. For my departure, it was great service parking my car and catching the complimentary airport shuttle. However, upon my return, I waited over 45 minuted at the instructed airport pick up location the hotel shuttle NEVER CAME. I attempted to call the hotel several times to schedule a pick up and to get more information on the shuttle schedule, but no one answered the front desk phone. I probably called about 10 times, including the Marriott customer service line, who only just recommended I try calling the front desk again. Eventually, I just got an uber to the hotel to retrieve my car. Upon returning, the hotel airport shuttle was parked with no attendant in sight. I will never use them for airport parking again, especially since there was no way to get a hold of any front desk attendant. Horrible experience.
