We had a restaurant.com gift certificate to use. I knew it was in the Hilton, and expected a restaurant within the lobby. However, there was just a tiny cafe. The seating area was part of the lobby, where guests usually eat their continental breakfast. We didn't know if it was open, but the gift certificate said we could only use it for dinner and it was dinner time, so we asked the woman taking orders from guests to take up to their room and she said was open. We took our seats and she was our waitress. She brought over a coloring mat for our toddler daughter and highlighters (yes, highlighters). They obviously didn't have things for kids, but we appreciated that she scrounged up something for her. Our waitress was very nice and very attentive. The food was a bit over-priced and took a bit longer than we would have liked, but it was very good. I had a garden burger, my husband got a double cheeseburger, and my daughter got chicken fingers and fries. We all liked our meals. We have three more certificates to use, so we'll be going again, but without them, I don't think I'd bother. There's a Bob Evans right next door with a better deal and more choices.

My wife, 7 year old daughter and I went to this place for dinner as we were visiting Inner Harbor and had a restaurant.com certificate. When we first walked in to the hotel, we asked where the place was, thinking it was somewhere off in a separate room. To our surprise, the "restaurant" is actually off to the left in the main lobby. To be honest, this put me off right away but it was late and we were already there. We were seated promptly by the friendly server and provided menus. The menu is kind of limited but the items are very creative. The kids menu is very limited (Mac and cheese, PBandJ or grilled cheese). My wife had the burger which was cooked as ordered and very tasty. Great sized burger and tasty onion rings. Topped with fresh onions, pickles and tomatoes. I had the Baja Chicken Flatbread which was honestly amazing. I expected something along the lines of chewy chicken, oily cheese and BBQ sauce but was taken by surprise by this tasty dish! It was great both in presentation and taste and I highly recommend it! Our daughter (7) was the challenge. For once in her life she didn't want Mac and cheese but didn't like any of the other kids items. She loves tortellini and they did have a tortellini dish but it had a white wine sauce which wouldn't fly with her. We asked the waiter and he has no problem substituting with tomato sauce. She loved the dish which included tri-color tortellini filled with cheese and grilled veggies. Overall this place is a solid three and just shy of a four star rating but yelp don't offer 1/2 star rating increments so I rated it a three. To further break down this place: Staff: 5 stars Food quality: 4 stars Speed: 5 stars Value: 3 stars (food is very good but pricey) If we were in the area on another trip and had another restaurant.com cert we would definitely dine here again.

I used a restaurant.com certificate, not that that should matter. The dining area, in the lobby of the hotel, was freezing cold. I don't know how the workers could stand working in such cold conditions, much less spending only an hour there for a meal. Ordering went well and the food was better tasting than its appearance. Some what expensive, and I would not pay those prices had it not been for the certificate. When I got the bill, they tried charging me $11 for a glass of wine, which was listed as $8 on the menu. When I asked about this, the waiter mentioned they were out of the $8 glass of wine, but I was never informed of this, even after I ordered a second glass. The other issue I had was the menu did not even show a more expensive Chardonnay, only the $8 glass was listed. He adjusted the bill, but after a terribly long period of time (remember, I'm freezing in this place), he came back to say the computer could only take $17 (the price of my entree) off of my bill, instead of the full $25 value of the certificate I was using. So I had to pay the extra and the waiter gave me $8 in cash to make up the difference. Bottom line, cold ambiance, expensive food (and drink) which was average in taste, and service that could use some additional training.

This isn't a restaurant. It's a lobby bar with food service. I called down to ask if there were any drink specials and when I got someone on the other line he answered "room service". I said I was trying to reach the restaurant and his response was "yeah, yeah.". I asked if when he says "yeah, yeah" it means I've reached the restaurant and I get another "yeah" back. I ask for drink specials, I get a no, not tonight. I hang up. I stop by the almost empty "restaurant" bar, I get a warm hello from the server/bartender, I ask how much is a domestic bottled beer (Miller, Bud, Coors, you get the idea), he says $6.50. I reply with an astonished "$6.50?" He then says "$5.50, $6.50, something like that". A "bartender" who doesn't know the price for a bottle of beer, *and* charging the retail price of a six-pack, just for one bottle, at a budget brand hotel, next to the airport. Hilton, you should be ashamed of yourself. Go a few steps down the street to Ruby Tuesday, their bartenders are friendly, attentive, and have decent prices as opposed to sitting in a budget hotel lobby paying a 600 percent markup for a damn bottle of domestic beer.
