I stayed at this motel for two nights. It is located across from Legion Memorial Park. Independently owned, reconditioned motel, which appears to be from the 1950s. There are two sections and the front section is similar to a motel with two floors and the back section is similar to a hotel with 5 floors with stairs, but no elevator. I did not see the rooms in the back section. Reasonable price and my room was clean but small. I felt safe in this neighborhood. Friendly staff. Mini refrigerator and $5 water in the room. Wi-Fi in the rooms has acceptable upload and download speeds. Front desk sells snacks, wine, beer, and tequila. It’s not a Hilton or Hyatt hotel, so I had realistic expectations before I arrived. Large swimming pool and courtyard area. Room entry using an access code. Located on a busy four lane street so you will hear traffic in the front section, so you may want to request the back building for less street noise. This motel is good for people on a budget. Super-cool vintage boutique motel. The back "cocktail patio" and pool are very nice, and the room was retro '50s, but nicely appointed and very clean! Several restaurants are within walking distance as well! Enjoyed!! We'll be headed to the cruise ship tomorrow, and this is a great way to start our vacation!!

This without doubt is the worst place I have ever had the privilege of stepping foot in. The lady at the Check In spoke to me like I was a child and kept telling me and my wife how this was "Epstein Country". She also somehow managed to pass a rude remark on Donald Trump for some reason. When she finally allowed us access to our room, it was a dive. No sorry, thats an insult to a dive. The door barely shut properly and there was quite clearly a very drunk man who kept coming in and out of his room which was beside us to get more drink and then he was standing drinking in the car park. Place felt more like a Halfway House than a Hotel. Genuinely after 15 mins, we left and drove 3.5 hours and 220 miles back to Orlando to get away from the place. I've never been to a place as bad as this in my entire life and the area it is based in was one of the roughest, dodgiest areas I've ever experienced. It genuinely was so bad I've asked Expedia to refund my money. Absolutely appalling stuff - a disgrace to the hotel industry from every angle.

Stayed here for one night after a cruise. For the price, we were very impressed. They allowed us to keep our luggage on site before we were able to check-in, which was super helpful. The rooms were clean, with an updated look. Probably the best motel I've ever stayed in.

I have been a loyal customer of your hotel and have always enjoyed my stays during my travels through Miami. However, my recent experience has left me feeling disappointed and compelled to share my feedback.

On the day of my departure, housekeeping knocked on my door to inform me that I had exceeded the check-out time by only 27 minutes. I explained that I was in the process of finishing up, but a few minutes later, they returned and insisted that I leave immediately. I found this behavior to be both unprofessional and intrusive.

When I addressed the issue with the front desk representative, Nancy, she simply stated that it was hotel policy. I requested to speak with a manager, but she claimed there was no manager on-site and refused to contact one on my behalf. Despite waiting for 45 minutes, my request was still denied.

While I understand that policies must be enforced, the lack of flexibility and the dismissive attitude I encountered were unacceptable. My time and loyalty as a customer are valuable, and this experience has left me reconsidering my future stays at your property.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider improving your procedures to ensure that other guests do not face similar inconveniences.
