Avoid booking this property at all costs. I booked it due to its proximity to an event I was attending without researching the neighborhood, which was a huge mistake. When I arrived late Friday evening, I discovered the front door lock was broken, leaving the property completely unsecured. The lockbox for the key felt unsafe and untrustworthy. As a single woman, I immediately felt uneasy.

The room itself was a disappointment. It was hot, smelly, and nothing like the photos in the listing, which I now suspect are stock images. The bathroom was tiny, and the kitchenette felt awkwardly placed. The entire setup was far from the “spa-like environment” advertised.

When I contacted Sergio, the host, to request a refund, citing the broken lock, he admitted the lock was broken and claimed a part was on order. However, he never disclosed this upfront despite providing instructions for a front door code that clearly didn’t work. His response lacked any understanding of my concerns about safety, especially as a single woman. He also falsely claimed he couldn’t issue a refund, pushing the responsibility onto VRBO.

After wasting hours on VRBO’s customer service, they declined my request for a refund despite the inaccurate listing and security issues. I ended up booking a hotel nearby for just $50 more per night, and it was worth every penny for peace of mind and comfort.

Save yourself the hassle, skip this property, and avoid any listing hosted by Sergio. VRBO’s lack of support for their customers has also left me questioning their platform. Stick to reputable hotels—you’ll be much happier.

A NIGHTMARE STAY. Except we didn’t even stay. We went to check it out and immediately requested a refund we never received. Avoid this place at all costs. I felt extremely unsafe and constantly uncomfortable. The location is in a terrible part of town. Be very cautious and don’t be fooled by the misleading positive reviews. They’re deceiving you.

We had a very good experience here. The rooms are alright, have all the amenities and are decently clean. Only issue with this place is that the bathrooms do not have proper doors and the shower area is not high enough. Due to that the water spills outside the shower area.

Wow! What a lovely place to stay. The attention to details blew my mind, I almost felt bad to use the towels and undo the beautiful wrapping. Also, the location was great, pretty close to everything you need in Miami without being in a super crowded area like Miami Beach. There are pretty good restaurants nearby, and the beach is not far either. Extremely happy I found it.

The place was hard to find. It was small and cute the room was beautiful. But the bathroom is extra small. Not very many places to eat around but that are is great But no loud noises after 9pm until 9 am I felt like I had to whisper.
