My my my..... The absolute dirtiest, trashiest, roach motel in Allen Park. It seems as if everybody in there hates their job and customers. The old lady who works in the front is very rude and passive aggressive. There was blood on the walls in the bathroom and stains on the bed. The Wi-Fi cuts in and out and the TVs don't work... my family and I had three rooms there for an event and we all had the same issues. The one star is for the waffles I made in the morning that were good in the lobby..... ohhhhh and the added bonus is they smoke on the second floor and the back hallway so every room smells like cigarettes, mold, and garbage juice.

It's clean, warm and has hot water.. 3-8 Minute drive to Shopping and restaurants! Huge bonus. I have a Room with a King Bed, desk, microwave (works), small fridge, television, corner chair, closet with hangers, iron/board, and stocked bathroom. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean & stocked. Bed was soft for me and I'm okay with that. Pillows, not good. Very stiff and felt like small bricks to my head. No comfort. My room faced the highway, so the noise is evident. I brought a small fan to help but lots of road noise. Breakfast is 6a-9a, hot meal, 3 types of cereal, 2 fruit options, milk, coffee, OJ & Hot Water. As a Celiac foodie, I had inquired on Gluten Free options, I was told GF Muffins, Bagels and Cereal would be available, but they were not. (Cross contamination is high unless they have them sealed separately somewhere) 2nd Floor Ice Machine broken. One elevator is Out of Order- needed repairs. Indoor Pool is open till 10pm. Parking out front limited, but side and behind building has ample room. Happy lodging!

This hotel is a hard time. It is dated and dirty. I was desperate and they had an availability. If I had it to do over, I'd just sleep in the truck. The hot tub was closed. Yellow tape all around it. The pool area looked undesirable and reeked of chlorine. The breakfast offered seemed to be out of a lot of items. There were highly visible stains on the carpet, walls, ceilings, curtains and furnishings. Everything looked dingy. Our room cards had to be re-done twice because they stopped working. We went down to the service desk and the clerk fixed them both times. However, she could have been giving god only knows who keys to the room because she never checked to make sure we were the people who were staying in it. The place was dirty, dust everywhere, cobweb. Whatever extremely unskilled, home handyman with no experience they hired to do the "updates"... ripped them off. The workmanship is shoddy. There is caulk everywhere!!! There was gross brownish gray funk at the entrance to the shower and on the floor of the shower. Some of the lights didn't work. Don't look at the vents in the rooms...you will want to cry. In room fireplace turned on then was basically unusable as it stayed on and none of the function buttons worked. Everything was in general disrepair. We had to go to the desk to ask for towels. Usually, those are in the bathroom. However, I can't imagine our room was properly cleaned. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone else. For $200+ dollars a night you can find a better place for sure. The pictures on the websites are highly misleading as evidenced in my photos. The door did not latch properly and needed to be checked. That is a safety and fire hazard. The tile was cracked where the shower door was attached and looked like it was about to fall off. Paint and staining on the carpet and furnishings. It's just gross. If they offered a free stay I would say no. Ew.

Our room was dirty office chair was broken and vents on AC unit were broken and missing. No channel guide or room information was told by front desk not available. The security was not being enforced no wristbands to control pool area population. Hot tub was lacking water was below water jets and pool was dirty. Pool area was closed the next morning as well and the towels and trash were still there as observed by us when eating breakfast. Hallway curtains missing and same broken vents on heating ac units. Elevators and common areas were not clean, mop bucket was just sitting in hallway. No one at front desk to help when we needed assistance. There was also a broken chair in front of the exercise room. Hallway carpets were filthy just like our room carpets were. Not a good look at all.

If you like the smell of burning tires, hanging out with drug addicts who stay all month in rooms with the door jamb disabled, and want to sleep next to a parking lot full of big rigs idling all night, while breathing cigarettes being chain smoked next to "do not smoke here" signs, then you'll be off to a great start here. furthermore, if you love cloudy pools and hot tubs that never get hot, and front desk people that tell you "we know" to every complaint (while repeatedly giving you key cards that don't work), carpets in commercial settings that have never been cleaned, and rooms with no working electricity and shattered bathroom sinks glued back together with caulk, well, then i think you've found home. i hear the free breakfast that ends at 9am is really scrumptious and made with love, complete with local specialties like burnt eggs. UPDATE: the manager assured us our reservation was cancelled and we wouldn't be billed, after failing to "successfully" check us into a room that actually had things like working electricity, a non-shattered sink, or working keycards..... and of course, we were still charged. i contacted corporate through social media - so far they have just come up with excuses of why they can't help me since they can't be bothered to track down my information based on me providing our last name and hotel location. I sent them a link to this review. Maybe they can find it now.

Update to my review. The people who work the desk was awesome. When I got there I was upgraded to a Jacuzzi suite and given a hanging tag so I could park near the front that was near my room. The room was comfortable and set up well. Sofa and TV near the door with wet bar that had a small fridge and microwave. The bathroom with a shower and 2 person jacuzzi between it and were the bed and desk is located. King bed with a TV located over a fireplace. EBS would have loved staying here with me, so romantic. I enjoyed the jacuzzi both nights. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was just a little better than average. Good choice of hot and cold items. I had to use the business area to print some paperwork and it didn't cost extra. Both of these are in the large lobby area. It overlooks the indoor pool and hot tub. Didn't bring my bathing suit. The trouble come on my second day there. I had stopped at the desk to say I didn't want anyone to clean my room. I was asked if I put the do not disturb sign on my room. When I said I will go back and do that, the head of housekeeping told me that I didn't have to do that. I heard her radio not to go into room 127. When I got back, I found lights on, curtains open, and new towels on the edge of the jacuzzi. My laptop and Mac book was still there. So was the jewerly I had put in my suitcase under my clothes. But later I realized my silk bag of minerals and stones was missing. I went to the front desk upset. I was told that I must have misplaced it and housekeeping would help me find it the next morning!!!! I was not NICE. Next morning I talked to another person at the desk. He was more understanding and understood why I was so upset. He was the one who logged the thief. No one showed up to even look for it before I left around 9. I made sure they had my phone numbers so I could be informed about what they found out. A sign is posted near the desk that they are not responsible for any items left in your room. Bull cookies. When a guest says NO ONE in the room, you need to honor that. GREAT desk staff and comfortable rooms, but still upset that people came in to my room when I asked that no one enter. I had waited to post this to see if they would call me. But something happened this morning that fixed the problem of my missing silk pouch. I turned the pillow and went to pick it up to put my wrist braces, sleep mask, and 1 of EBS'S t shirt that I put over my eyes at night. I have slept on for 5 nights I even took those items out when I got home last Tuesday. I felt something heavy in the pillow case. When I reached in to see what it was, I pulled out the silk pouch!!! I have no clue how it got there and why I did find it the 1st night I slept on that pillow or the next 4 nights either. I am a honest person, so I had to change my review. Glad to have it back and wonder if EBS had something to do with that.

We were traveling through Michigan and needed a place to stop for the night. This was the closest and nicest for the price. We didn't book online but rather went to the desk and asked for a room. We were greeted by a very nice man at the front desk who was very sociable and personable. We told him that we had been in the car off and on for 14 hours and we're exhausted and wanted the standard king room. He gave us the same price as online but upgraded us to the king suite with fireplace and hot tub! Wow, what a room! Extremely clean, bed was comfortable, the hot tub in the room was just amazing to relax and watch tv and wind down before going to sleep. Can't wait for breakfast in the morning

Don't get me wrong this place isn't horrible but.. it's definitely not as nice as I thought it would be. The room smelled slightly like cigarettes, the armchair and desk chair looked like they should have been replaced a long time ago, and there was stains on the comforter. Breakfast was fine, other than their sausages that were overcooked and cold. Overall, it isn't too bad, I just think the main problem may be that they aren't getting enough business to be able to fix things up.
