Been looking for a place to get good perch for years, and found it just five minutes from my house. A hot day, but courteous and quick service (the heat makes a difference in a fry joint). I had the small plate with cole slaw and onion rings, take-out. Still hot when I got home! I reckon I'll be back.

Haven't had anything from Mr Chicken in quite a while and thought I would give it another try. BIG MISTAKE!! I ordered the wing dings and the ribs. The windings were something you'd buy at the dollar store... They were that nasty! They were more like pigeon wings than chicken wings... There was no meat on them. They looked nasty and they tasted nasty. The ribs were sort of OK but had a lot of fat on them. The fries were undercooked...the only decent thing was the cole slaw. I don't know what happened to this place, but they used to be really good. I will not be going back. I would rather much have something from chicken shack, even if I have to drive further!!!!!! Their food is a whole lot better!!

I've been coming here since I was little. As always the roasted chicken was fresh and delicious. The cole slaw is one of my favorites around (unique since the cabbage is ground up). We enjoyed wedge potatoes and onion rings. Just a heads up, the dining room closes at 8:30, but the carryout counter was open until 9:30pm. Still with short hours since Covid, maybe there isn't enough staff. The cashier was friendly and efficient.

It's been years since I've had Mr. Chicken, and it is even better than I remembered. The breasts are so juicy. They have the best pressure fried chicken, and beat the other chicken places.

As long as I've been coming here, I can't believe I haven't reviewed Mr. Chicken. The place is very unassuming, small inside and very basic decor, but that's not what it's about here. The waitresses are always so friendly and willing to help you navigate what to order if you aren't sure. Now to the more important things, the chicken. I absolutely love their broasted chicken. The flavors are on point. Whether it's dark or white meat, I think you will enjoy it. Their coleslaw is to die for. Sometimes I go there just to get a side of it. I really enjoy their potato wedges as well. They are always cooked perfect. I have had their ribs there, but to be honest, not a huge fan of the ribs. The chicken is wear it's at. For good broasted chicken and exceptional sides, as well as, friendly service, Mr. Chicken is a good place and prices are very reasonable as well.

The best broasted chicken hands down and has been for a good 20 years I know for sure! This is way better than Chicken Shack and I have always been devestated that there isn't an east location. Driving from Rochester Hills is a bit much! The chicken is JUICY! The coleslaw is wayyy better than KFC! Broasted potatoes are great too! The only downside is the waitresses are kids and they truly do not care to have that job. My waitress completely ignored me, took forever for her to come wait on us and there weren't many people in at the time. There were 2 waitresses and they both were slow, inaccurate, and careless. I would have much rather served myself with their attitudes. Get the carryout!
