I love this place, if I were to put it on TikTok it would go viral so I'm gatekeeping. Nice bar, nice vibe, clean, nice ppl! Service is always prompt and polite. Food is pretty damn good too. I mainly go for steak bites or a chicken Caesar wrap, and the burger is pretty fire too. Drinks are nice and aren't too pricey. Love it here

Server was nice, friendly. Turkey rueben had too much sauerkraut and only 1 slice of turkey, about an eighth of an inch thick. Also, patron brought their dog in and just about every employee had too hold or pet it. One took the dog over by the kitchen, you know, where they make food. Did not see one of them wash their hands after the canine contact. First and last time customers.

Me and my family are heading on vacation and needed a spot to eat. We settled on Van Born Tavern and Grill. Did not disappoint at all, very much so exceeded our expectations. To start off, the service was amazing some of the best I have ever had. We asked what would she recommend and she gave us so many suggestions and we wanted all of it. She did not need to give us any recommendations because everything would be amazing. Next, the food was amazing!!! We had the Cajun steak bites as an appetizer it was some of the best food I have ever had. It was gone within seconds. I had the classic burger it was great and I don't even like burgers that much. My parents had the euro they said "the bomb diggity." All they said and that's all they needed to say. (The bomb diggity was the sauce) Finally, since we arrived late there was no one around. Therefore, we had a great dinner with our family. The ambiance was nice, very comforting. In conclusion, the only bad thing about this place is that there's not one near us. I highly recommending coming to this place no matter what. Come here!!!

I love what the owner does with his staff. He allows them to participate in karaoke when they can. They are all so happy to work there and participate. Good ambiance, drinks were great and food was in point. Will return when I'm in the area.

The waitress forgot things basically at each round of service, which usually genuinely doesn't bother me, but there was an obvious lack of effort. Busier joking with regulars than attending to our table of 5. The food was mediocre, the ambience was okay.

Maybe I Picked A Bad Day for Cajun Steak Bites and Loaded Baked Potatoes- The Steak Bites Had No Flavor And The Baked Potatoes Were Not Loaded Hopefully It Was A Bad Day But That Order Was Not Enjoyable

It didn't leave the best impression. We ordered the fish and chips for take-out. It was very dry, bland, and needed to be cut with a knife? So strange and definitely not what you're used to for that meal. We'll probably try again since it's close by, just won't be going back for the fish.

This place is awesome! We were visiting from out of town and our server made us feel very much at home. She was so attentive and kind. Not once did we feel rushed or neglected. The food was excellent! I had a great burger, and the nachos with ground beef were very good. Also had a couple tasty beers from local breweries. The kids enjoyed their meals too. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend stopping by!

I can't say one bad thing about this place. The bartenders are friendly, the food is delicious and the prices really aren't bad. This area isn't exactly known for its craft beer connoisseur-ism, so it's surprising there's a craft beer bar around. I love it. It's nice competition for Bierkeller without the sometimes-douchey crowd. The diners and drinkers here tend to be in their 40s and 50s, making it a pretty chill place for dinner or to stop in for a few beers. I've ordered food several times and always love it. Their pulled pork is really good, so is their pizza. Van Born Tavern has an upscale sports bar feel without the ridiculous prices. You can get a couple beers and dinner for around $40. For the selection, friendliness of service and quality of food, I'm totally okay with that.
