We called ahead of time to order some maneesh, and as soon as we arrived, our order was done. The ambiance was very calm and it smelled amazing. Our food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back whenever I'm in town again!

After a long search for Saji bread. Im Ali who works at the acordaron market suggested this place for Zaatara Saj. So happy to know there is one store in Dearborn that still manually makes tlami a3l Saj (bread on the traditional Arab dome stove). I order two Akawi Cheese and two Zaatar. They dough is grea. Great texture and taste. However the Zaatar was a bit sour for our taste. For Lebanese native Zaatar mixes very with in each village especially with in each family unit. Otherwise we really enjoyed the Akawi Saj bread. Also the kids did enjoy their Akawi Cheesse and Pepperoni Pizza mini pies. Over great experience. Will visit again in the future for more of our Saj needs. They also carry bags of homemade spices and condiments like Sumac, Keshik, Olive Oil, and Honey(not photographed) FYI I was told it was recently transferred to new owners. Tried this place out for the first time today and I loved it! Plenty of mediocre bakeries in this city but I really enjoyed this place. I got a zataar manoushi. Which is basically thyme and somes spices w/ olive oil on a dough that's then baked to perfection. Which was only $1.79 and I added fresh veggies for just $1.00... pretty cheap breakfast! Never mind that, they're open at 6am, so if you work early like I do and can't ever find a place to grab breakfast, this is your place. *its also easy to eat while driving* I probably shouldn't encourage that...but hey anything that makes my morning easier I'm okay with! They also have the option of ordering on a thinner saj bread which is awesome because it's delicious, not to mention healthier. I believe it's whole wheat. I also saw that they have a little self serve coffee station set up and they have Nutella crepes on the menu! Woo! My only complaint is that they need some sort of bell or sound at the door to notify them when a customer walks in. They were in the back when I arrived and I waited a couple minutes before someone noticed me because no one could hear me!!!! Otherwise , I'll be back (most likely tomorrow morning) Certainly worth checking out.

Outstanding, clean & tasty food. this place is new and so nice inside. We stopped in one day after shopping and were greeted like family. the food was great and most importantly was our sweet professional waitress Sandra. she made sure we were well taken care of and went above & beyond to make our experience even better. I will definitely come back to this restaurant mainly because of Sandra and the food as well

This place is an excellent breakfast spot. You can actually eat the pies any time of day, but it's the best in the morning. You have to try the ackawi, meat, and zaatar. The bread is delicious. We tried all of the with saaj bread. It was so delicious and I highly recommend it.

Saj Alreef is pretty average in a sea of middle eastern bakeries in Dearborn. I usually wind up here because my wife gets here haircut nearby and I need somewhere to camp out when we drive there. The cheese manoush was pretty boring and the cheese didn't have much flavor. Priced at $3.50, the value does go far here. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly (which I can't say for some other places nearby ---Golden Bakery). However, there are more tasty options just down the street. Bonus points for free tea!

Great new place open a month now. We had to wait till after Ramadan since we only eat out at lunch time. Had a marvelous Sojuk long Flatbread with Veggies on side. A fabulous Lebanese Pizza with Halal Pepperoni those curl up while baking really good. For Dessert the Saj Crepe topped with Banana, Strawberry n Nutella a surprise flavor loaded treat. Had to knock off a star since Owner/Manager total belligerent A Ho saying don't want pictures, don't need your business. Will I go back NEVER just because of his attitude. We eat out 300 days per year only 2 person we've met with the negative attitude, ,, shame on you.
