Now lets talk about the venue Epiphany Detroit while beautiful the customer service made it a big fat 0 would NOT RECOMMEND! First there was a sudden management/ownership change. When reaching out to the new contact person... instead of soothing any fears I might have about my upcoming event, when I call it said hi DeAnn I was told you were my new contact person.... She cut me off and said NO I'm the one who got stuck with this after x ran off with your money now I let that slide and tried to move forward with a professional conversation and let me tell you, it was a complete headache! This lady would take days to respond to questions or flat-out never respond. She kept saying how she doesn't have to honor the contract because it wasn't signed with her I signed with the previous management. She sent me the rudest email about not ever touching her air-conditioning mind you, we didn't. On a 95° day She said air-conditioning wasn't included in my $25 an hour rehearsal sessions because if it was up to her I would have paid $175 an hour. Mind you whenever I've payed for an event space for a show as long as there is availability the rehearsal hours are little to no cost as bonus for renting the space. Never have I been quoted such a ridiculous price for rehearsal sessions. During the event the only time the staff made themselves available was to make their money off the cash bar there was no staff support during the event we had to ask for trash cans and was given 1! 1 trash can for a 200 guest event. No follow up after the show to see if I was satisfied. I wanted to make this space the QueensCourt Fashion Show home because the building is fabulous however CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY! I will never return

The hotel internet was not working. When I contacted the front desk it was like talking to a couple of rocks.... When I asked to talk to the manager they said they were not there.... Very very displeased with the place.... No sorry No I'll look in to it.. sorry sad place.....

This place is dirty, run down. Our room was ok, but look for bugs. People hanging out, in and out all night, doors slamming. Fight in the parking lot at 2am. This is NOT a family friendly hotel. I saw ONE employee the entire time (front desk). She was nice. That's it. Fridge-did not work Air-did not produce cold air. Just "cooler air" More like a fan. This was not loud enough to mask the traffic and other residents slamming doors. The room was cramped. It was not clean. The chair had rust on the legs. They give you the smallest shampoo and conditioner and some epically ineffective bar soap. Like, one bottle would cover a buzz cut. It's located next to a copycat Hooters. The clientele at this hotel seems transient. It looks NOTHING like the website. We thought we chose a quiet, decent place, where basics would be met. NOPE Instead, we didn't even feel safe AND we overpaid for it.

I figured the price point was decent and Wyndham's name is attached to it. Couldn't be all bad, right? Cons: Everything was dusty, dirty, and the room smelled like people had been smoking in it? At least the smoke detector was working fine, but still. The place ran loud on a weekend, seems to be a defacto party place. I noticed a couple "party rooms" that were completely unregulated and ignored by management. Here's the thing, your room's window is facing a hallway. That is to say, the hallway is basically a large echo chamber, so bear that in mind. The "fitness center" was a joke. There's literally 3 exercise machines - 2 of which were broken -- the elliptical in particular was off track and grinding, and the other stationary bike had missing functionality. They used the fitness room as basically a storage where there were vacuum cleaners and assorted cords and brooms and boxed and stuff. "Pros"?: The complimentary breakfast is okay, but, I can't really knock it too much since it's free and you're not obligated to eat. Apparently Belle Isle Pizza drops off a complimentary pizza for guests to sample every now and again. I'm assuming they know it's a party spot and people might order from them en masse, so fair play to them. The "best" part is that there's a shuttle service that takes you to/from downtown Detroit for free, so with respect to a couple freebies, I'll bump it up a star. I understand you get what you pay for and I've stayed in some questionable places, but I was reeling. Ouch?

This is the nastiest most disgusting hotel I've ever been to. I check in go to my room not only was my room dirty, but it smells like urine up and down the hallways. There is people yelling up and down the hallways and screaming as well as children. There's bugs in the room, as well as Dirt food grease and I don't know what kind of disease stains all over the walls. This is what they give there customers

It's important to have expectations set. This is an inexpensive motel. The price was great, and the room was clean, and the desk staff were respectful. That was literally all I expected, because, you know, motel. Additionally, the towels and bedding were clean, the room had obviously been sterilized, and they even provided little soaps. Could I still smell a little smoke in the room? Sure, because the place had operated for decades before going non-smoking. There's no way they're able to get that out of those walls. Could I hear every pin drop outside the door? Sure, because it's a motel. Since my expectations were met and exceeded during a global pandemic, I'm leaving five stars.

My husband and I rented a room for a night to explore the city. We walked in our room and walked right back out and found a different room a half hr away from where this place is. Absolutely the worst room we've rented and we do it quite often. Bedbugs on the bed, smelled like dirty feet, our neighbors flushed their toilet and our shower came on, nothing was cleaned, and you felt cramped. The front desk lady was friendly until we told her about the bed bugs and she called us liars. Get it together Wyndham, that place is busy, accommodate your guests!

If I could leave zero stars I would. This hotel was FILTHY!! I swear it was never cleaned. There was gross stuff on the mattress protector that it came through on the sheets. So $350 dollars later we arrived there at 2PM and returned from the concert at 1:30AM and left to go back home at 6AM..NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! Our daughter begged to just go home so she could sleep in her own bed. Very thankful this was the ONLY crappy part of her first ever concert!

I stayed here for the 17-19th of march, was in town for a meet, first off.. the desk girl wasn't friendly or welcoming, the pool and hot tub were disgusting, 2 of my 5 lights in my room were burnt out, bath tub is leaking, someone punched a hole in the wall, very dated, dirty bathrooms, etc...
