The office has carried out pizza from here before, and I have to say, I'm not overly impressed. We've had it enough times that I can't say I love it for a few different reasons. For starters, the pizza almost always tastes undercooked. The cheese and toppings consistently fall off the dough and it tastes like it wasn't cooked enough. Secondly, the place is never that busy, and it takes forever to get a pizza, even if you call it in ahead of time. One time, they told us 15 minutes after we placed a phone order. We got there after 20 minutes, and the girl was only halfway through cooking it. Had to wait another solid 10 minutes before it was totally done. I really hate coming here and after my pizza yesterday, I probably won't go back. Pizza just isn't that good.

I am pretty sure this location has moved to Grand River, right near the Redford Theatre. OR they've opened a second location. My husband and I had attempted to eat at the OG Buddy's since we live less than a mile away from it, but the wait was super long and we were supposed to meet friends at the Redford Theatre and I started to get paranoid that we would be late. I couldn't remember what was near the theatre, but figured we would just go to a coney or a diner or something once we got closer to the theatre. Well. I probably couldn't remember what was close to the theatre because there isn't ANYTHING. Aside from fast food, which sounded pretty terrible. Sweet Potato Sensations is across the street from the theatre but I thought it was closed because it was close to 9pm, (but, of course, after we ordered our pizza and drove by there were folks inside), so our only other option was to A) Keep driving around, and I am super unfamiliar with this area, or B) check out Crazy Joe's, which is right oh the corner of Grand River and Lasher. Crazy Joe's it is. We park out front, check out the menu. Pretty standard fare; pizza, calazone, wings, fried fish and shrimp, mozza sticks and other fried appetizers. There is a pop machine with a piece of paper with a handwritten "DOES NOT WORK" on it. Always a great sign of excellence. We placed our order of a veggie pizza and some mozzarella sticks through an impressively large bullet proof window. There was a dude who had just picked up his order and decided to eat it right there at the counter where we were paying, I mean why not? He was yelling at the guys working, saying the cook is good at his job but a real A-Hole. He's yelling some more, saying the owner is a jerk, etc. I mean, if you name your business Crazy Joe's, there is a chance that you may get some crazy joe's off the street coming in, amirite? Our order came out pretty quickly and the guys working were all very nice. There was a stern looking big guy who wasn't really working, just kind of supervising the other two guys, so I can only assume he is THEE Crazy Joe. Food was very bleh. Maybe because I had originally planned on getting Buddy's I was let down harder than I would have been otherwise. Mozzarella sticks were good, lol I mean, how can you mess up frozen foods? Pizza was undercooked and veggies weren't fresh. Again, wasn't really expecting otherwise. We ate in our car while we mourned the loss of a good dinner. TL;DR , I wouldn't recommend this spot unless you wanna good story to tell.

No frills pizza - you can't get sundried tomatoes or anything like that here, but it's better than Hungry Howie's. We really like the everything pizza... that thing is loaded. We ordered two and were told to be careful because it's heavy! The young woman working the register knows exactly what we ordered and always has it right when we pick up.

Great service..Had pizza delivered driver had great customer service, price is right . Pizza was good family enjoyed it and will continue to patronize in the future.

The food is ok. Sometimes it tastes good, sometimes it's not. I haven't tried pizza, but everytime I order something, it must be Calzone from here, because my bf said pizza is not that good in here. It probably fills you up when you're hungry.
