This IS THE SPOT. I had my birthday celebration of life at this location. We had a Great time. The food is good. We'll, ALL OF THE FOOD IS GOOD AT ANY BERTS LOCATION!!! -Just so you know. The drinks were pouring All night. You can being a cake nut they have you cut it. One more thing no one has to think about. We danced and partied and had a Time The ambiance is good, but the service is hit or miss depending on the bartender, but she asked for it and we delivered, because if you're here to work, then work you shall. It was a Friday night, you know the kind where the lightning strikes, and I was hanging out with some of my artsy friends... (in my Erykah Badu voice) On And On...Aight I love it here.

Looking for that place to get your pregame drink and food. This place was great walking distance from Abnb.and Stadium. The regular were very friendly even though we were in the opposing teams gear. Go SeaHawks

I wanted so badly to like this place. I was visiting Detroit and looking for the Eastern Market (only to discover that the market was not open that day). I bumped into Bert on the street and he was so warm and inviting and invited me in to grab lunch at his restaurant. His attitude and warmth is the only reason why this is not a 1 star review. The menu options were enticing and the pricing was a little high. I was in a rush so ordered to go. Not until after I had ordered/swiped my credit card and made a big deal about being excited to try local food did I notice that an 18% tip was included in my to-go check. WHAT THE HECK???? I decided to let it slide But when I received my food it was some of the soggiest/fatty ribs I have ever had that were slightly under cooked and the fried chicken (Aretha Franklin Special) would make the Queen herself roll over in her grave. It was as dry as dirt. So disappointing. I was simply passing through Detroit and wanted to experience some local food. This is NOT the place to go.

WATCH OUT. An automatic tip is included in the bill, but then there is another line for TIP when you get the copy to sign. DOUBLE TIP. A nice way to screw the unsuspecting customers. Isn't it enough that your drink prices are ridiculously high that you feel a need to do this to your customers, especially those visiting COAMERICA park and don't look at the bill.

Located inside Comerica Park - awesome barbecue!!! My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and I had the red hot sausage. Both were amazing and I will add that the red hot sausage made me sweat. If you are at the ballpark, I know there are a million options...this one is worth giving a shot.

We got sat at a bar on 12/5/24 before the lions thursday night game and got ignored by bartender so we walked out. This place was half empty 90 min before kickoff, now I know why. What a waste of such a good location near Ford Field.
