Food is great but service is subpar. Took 30 mins to get eggs. Not ideal. There is better coney islands in Detroit for service but the food was good so if you like waits. This is the place for you

Normally I never have a problem at the hollywood county island's on Grand River and Wyoming. the young ladies at the drive through and at the front desk customer service is outstanding. Lately the service has been shit. It's like they can't follow instructions my order request for hashbrowns NO ONIONS. I got onions. I ordered Silver dollar pancakes and got 5 medium-sized pancakes. Expect your order to be wrong.

Nearly a whole onion piled on this Greek salad. I substituted beets for "extra" cucumbers. But still somehow was charged $1 for the extra cucumbers that were nonexistent. When I removed to the Coney Island for a refund for this JOKE. A cook came outside to ask what was wrong I opened the container and showed him. His reply was "have you never had a Greek salad from here before? That's how they come, baby" Ridiculous!! I wouldn't be upset if this was a honest mistake. But clearly it wasn't. The cook said he's been making their salads like this forever. I found that hard to believe when two salad reviews have 5% of the amount of onions I have! I will not be eating here again. If I could give them a ZERO I would. Service is piss poor! Food quality is in the gutter.

This was my first time visiting this location and customer service sucks. Cashier was very rude I ask her for an extra small container to split the ranch dressing among my twins and another fork before she gave it to me anything else very nasty the way she said it that my nine years old was like she mean. My grilled chicken salad was missing the egg. I tried to call the restaurant back they kept putting me on hold literally 5 minutes each time. The third time she didn't even say hold on she just picked up the phone and held it. I just hung up my first and last time every going there I will not recommend it either.

This is my first time visiting this Coney Island in 6 years. When I lived here this was my go to spot for coneys. I always order a coney combo which is two coneys, French fries and a drink, which I ordered today. The buns were soft, chili was good and hot dogs grilled to perfection . I asked for extra onions and mustard but I guess they forgot that part but nevertheless the coney was still good. I could have used a tad bit more of chili sauce on them so I could dip my French fries in . French fries were hot, fresh and crisp and arrived in a nice size bag. I went thru the drive thru , be careful because it's narrow and curvy. I was greeted politely , order taken quickly and the lady said Thank You. She kept that line moving, because it was a line of about 5 cars. They serve a good breakfast here also. Prices are reasonable. I will continue to return here when I'm visiting home.

Since I work not to far from here, the girls in the office and I order from here from time to time. Today we were all starving, and since none of us brought any food in to work, I decided to trek down here to grab food for us. The food itself is actually pretty good. The place looks like it must have been an old fast joint at some point, and even has a drive thru. Parking's a little tight, but seems to be fine. The lobby is big, but the counters behind bullet proof glass with a turn wheel to get your food. When you work in the hood, this is the price you pay. Service was fine, and they do accept charge cards. Prices here are rock bottom low, and you can a ton of food for a small amount of money. I usually get the Hollywood special, which is a coney dog with hamburger on it with cheese & onions. Total bill for 3 lunches? $10.39!!
