I just called inquiring tickets to a rodeo and the lady said " I'm to busy to check right now" you run a business you have to keep customers happy. Guess I will be taking my business else where.

When I get homesick for Santa Barbara - I drive to Mexicantown to listen to the Latin music, eavesdrop on the Spanish, smell the tortillas cooking around and shop at the mercados. La Mexicana Inc is a small storefront/mercado with a taco bar as you walk in. The tacos are hand made and as authentic as anything you can get in Rosarita Beach, MX. They have all the different meats (carne asada, pork, tongue, etc), with onion and cilantro toppings. Their red and green salsas are hot and flavorful. Lunch of 4 tacos and two bottles of coke from Mexico is $10. And the best part is that when you are done with lunch, you can get all of the authentic mexican groceries you need.

Food is good. The cook is quite an amusing person. He was singing the whole time. Tacos are delicious. We got to sample different meats from the grill. One thing I was concern about is -- How he handles raw chicken. He picks up marinated raw chicken with his bare hand and throws on the grill. Then just wipes his hands with a towel. And that to me is a major salmonella scare. We saw that when we had already finished our Lunch. Fortunately none of us (we went there as group) got sick. The food is awesome though!
