It seems that this location is incapable of handling a Tapingo order correctly. I stopped in on Saturday 11/10 at 1:20pm after placing a Tapingo order. There are two different "Tapingo" pickup signs, and I was standing at the one near checkout for 5 minutes before someone told me I had to go to the more hidden one around the corner. Why are there two signs in the first place? The drink I requested with my order was not ready, and despite several times of politely saying "Sir" to the cashier, I finally had to raise my voice to get someone's attention (the cashier would not raise his head to acknowledge me). I finally got everything and went to put it in a bag, only to find that the plastic bags are just thrown in a huge messy pile in the corner by the register. Seriously... Finale: One of my entrees was wrong. I don't understand how you mistake sweet and sour chicken for mushroom chicken, but it seems par for the course at this location. The Panda Express website doesn't have a number listed for this location (or maybe it just wasn't showing up because the website was incorrectly stating that this location is closed on Saturdays), so I couldn't even get ahold of a manager. I will not visit this location again.

I am a student at Wayne State and had ordered on Tapingo. As I was walking towards the tapingo pickup at the counter, the lady (don't know her name, but seems like a manager or supervisor) asked what I was waiting for. All I said was "I'm picking up my tapingo order." (Mind you, I wasn't even at the counter yet). She then gave me sass and a horrible attitude by saying, "Well grab it then!" Then, I just grabbed my food but forgot to take the tapingo ticket as well. The lady then made the effort to come back, grab the ticket, and yell at me by saying that I have to take the ticket when I pick up an order. After that, my friend was also waiting for a tapingo order and we were just waiting near the counter as her order was not ready yet. She then yelled from behind the counter what I was waiting for. Overall, just rude customer service

The service was great and the people was very friendly. The food was also very delicious, the honey walnut shrimp was perfect and the rice was lovely on the side. I definitely enjoyed my visit there.

Possibly the worst Chinese food I've ever had. You can get 5x the amount of food at any of the local Chinese restaurants in Detroit for less money...and it would taste way better. I spent nearly $10 for a tiny scoop of chicken and a bowl of burnt rice.

I come here frequently as a student at Wayne State, but I wish there were more options nearby because the service here is truly bad. Last year, while waiting in line to be served, I witnessed the employees here openly fight in front of the customers. They were literally yelling insults at one another. Today, I saw the cashier refuse to give a woman her food because she had gotten half and half of her entrees, which is apparently against Panda Express's rules. The employee who had served her that way was new and didn't realize it wasn't allowed. The cashier refused to give the woman her food, threw out the food, and forced the woman to go back and reorder with one entree. This held up the line and upset all the customers because it was such a waste. Generally, the line here is super long, but that's to be expected at a college food court. They are usually out of something (chow mein and orange chicken, most likely). I will say their premium entrees that cost extra are actually quite good. I don't expect much because it's a fast food Chinese restaurant, but I wish they could train some common sense into their employees.
