I am very upset about our dinner experience. We had a reservation for 6:00 PM, but the staff couldn't find our name in the reservation book and gave us a hard time before finally seating us. The hostess was unfriendly and very rude. We noticed that no one came to the two other tables near us during our entire visit, even though the host made it sound like they were taken. We arrived at 5:40 PM and left at 7:40 PM--yes, two full hours--and spent most of that time just waiting for our food. The service was terrible, with a long wait between the appetizers and the main course. What really upset me was that our server never acknowledged the delay. She didn't say it would be a moment, didn't check in on us, and didn't seem to care at all. At one point, I was resting my elbow on the back of the chair next to me, and another waiter noticed that we still had no food on our table. That waiter asked if we had eaten, and when we said no, she kindly went to check and told us it would be out soon. When our own server finally brought the food, she didn't apologize--she just served the dishes and walked away like nothing was wrong. After we finished eating, she never returned to our table. I even spoke to another group of four nearby, and they said they were dealing with the same issue. When our server eventually came back and asked if we needed boxes or anything, I told her no, that I was ready to pay one bill. She didn't come back for nearly 30 minutes. When she finally did, my dad told her off because we had already said we were ready half an hour earlier. I am disgusted with the service and no one should have to experience what we did.

Great service great ambience and awesome food. highly recommendedand it's nice and cozy inside. It's cool to be eating in a building that has history to the town and to the war back in the day.

We decided to try this restaurant for the first time tonight and were blown away by the food and excellent service (thank you Blaine!). Food-wise, the truffle fries were the best we've ever had and everyone should try them as an appetizer! For our mains, the food was fresh, flavorful and delicious for everyone in the family (gnocchi was amazing and rivaling the best at any Italian restaurant, lobster/beef burger was decadent, the Asian stir fry was spicy good and the peanut butter cheesecake was divine). Overall, a great experience with friendly service and we are happy to have found this place. We will be back- thanks Artisan Grill.

Took 1 hr 25 mins to get our food and when we complained the manager wouldn't take the time to talk to us when we requested. In the words of the waitress "his other job is cooking". The manager is also the cook?! When we finally got our food, it was terrible. The ribs looked like they were boiled and had very little sauce. The gnocchi was drenched in sauce and the sauce had huge chunks of garlic. The crab cakes looked like they were pre-packaged. The onion soup had soggy croutons and it was so rich my mom was nauseous after. The most disappointing part was the attitude of the staff (manager, waitress) that they were busy because they had 30-40 people and we should have understood that. That's what they call busy and couldn't keep up with? Not one apology.

I reserved a table for two and the five course meal with "butler service". However, we were served a four course meal, no butler, just a VERY slow, inattentive waitress. We never had an offer of drink refills, so we flagged someone else down and waited 20 minutes, then only one drink came. The place was packed, though they were only supposed to be at 50% capacity. The food was absolutely delicious except for dessert. The brownie was so dry it was not edible and I have never turned down a brownie! It is hard to say we will go back because it was a very uncomfortable experience and incredibly unorganized.

If you are looking for overpriced meals and drinks then this is the place for you! Portions are small, food was cold and they were extremely understaffed. We waited half hour to be seated as they only had one server. The place was empty at the time. Then once seated took forever to get served as our server was also the bartender. Ordered our food and took forever to get the food as the server was too busy chatting up the drunk dude at the bar. Then when she finally remembered to run back to check on our meals she served them to us cold as they sat back there so long. It's very unfortunate as the atmosphere is great as it still looks like the old Moxies. Took my wife here for dinner and not by choice, only because we had a gift card for the place. We were both very disappointed! Keg pricing with Applebees quality food!! Save your money and your time and don't bother eating here. There are many other more quality and reasonable restaurants in the area. Can't see this place surviving at this location!

Very disappointed. I have always ordered the vegetable asian stir fry. Tonight i ordered again and it arrived in a small bowl with barely any rice. For $25 and the portion so small, I questioned this with the server. She told me they didnt have their large bowl its normally served in so it looked smaller but assured me the proportion was the same. I wasnt going to call her a liar nor was it her fault so i said ok thank you. She must've told her superior, who came out shortly after reiterating the same talking point. Ironically after first saying she thought it was a small salad because of the bowl it was in. So apparently it was an optical illusion and the rice was abundant in my small bowl? Awful. The guest with me and I could clearly see we were being lied to, there was not much in the bowl and we have seen the amount served previously when I ordered. I left hungry and wasted $25 plus tax and tip on a tiny amount of stir fry. I will not be going back to artisan grill and will advise friends and family against going as well. They lost a repeating customer.
