Overall: 3 stars Food : 3 stars Service : 3 stars Value: 3 stars Ambiance: 4 stars Will I be back? Probably not. I'm No longer a Windsor resident but grew up here. Was in town to take my folks out, particularly my mom as it was her birthday. Maybe I'm spoiled w the likes of NY steakhouses like Peter Luger's or Wolfgang's, but I was very disappointed with the experience. Food: I had the ribeye, my mom the black & blue ribeye and my dad the salmon. We ordered Mac on the side and calamari to start, and all ordered potato coquette as our "starch". For dessert we ordered the tiramisu and creme brulee to share. First the good: the Mac was fantastic, and my dad loved his salmon. The creme brulee was also excellent. Now the disappointing: both my mom and I were very disappointed w the steak. Menu (https://bit.ly/3GcG7BJ ) says aged , but not *dry* aged--i just assumed. But now I wonder if that was on purpose, cause something was missing . I ordered my steak "plain" and my mom ordered hers "black and blue" which means Cajun spiced topped with Bleu cheese. The b&b each on its own was overpowering and together it was way too much. The croquettes were ok, as was the tiramisu. Service: Service was ok: friendly but not attentive , if that makes sense. Value If, as I suspect, the steaks were not dry aged, then my value score is a 1/5. But bc I have no idea it's a 3/5. $50-60 is a lot to pay for steaks that are not dry aged. Ambiance: Don't usually care much about ambiance, except that thr tables be sufficiently spaced out so that you can't participate in someone else's conversation. This was well laid out and tastefully done Bottom line: rating is 3/5 and probably won't go back

Staff are great, steak and potatoes were very very good. Got the escargot with pesto. Sauce was not warmed and very thick. Steak cut onion rings were as if they came out of a bag. Definitely not hand made, thin like a typical burger restaurant. Onion soup was just ok . Spouse who had it in the past said it was lacking the rich beef broth he had the time he was there about 6 months back. So good in some ways so poor in others

The prix fixe menu is the best $29 I've ever spent on food. This is Tuesday to Friday and Sunday, after 5pm. It's a 3 course meal of appetizer, entree, and dessert. There is quite a few items to choose from. I got Arancini, trout, and tiramisu. There are "starch" options to choose from for the main entree - I got the risotto. Portions were large enough to make me very full. The food was excellent. The service was also good. Dark dining area at the front of the restaurant makes this ideal for dates.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant. The food, service and ambiance was incredible! One of my favourite restaurants hands down. The variety of apps and quality of steak cuts were top shelf. Adriane and Gavin were superb hosts. Don't get fooled by the ordinary curb side view just book your reservation! We will definitely be coming back! Exceptional

The food was surprisingly disappointing. I was very excited tot day this place and went as a group on a Friday. I am not a food critic by any means, this was just my experience. Service: 5/5 Our waiter was great! Unfortunately forgot his name. Food: 3/5 Crab cakes were mediocre, they kind of tasted like canned crab.. Filet mignon with risotto was VERY disappointing. I ordered medium rare but got medium. No juices at all coming from the steak - quite dry. The risotto tasted off as well, not your typical risotto. Overall will not be returning as the price does not justify my experience with the food quality.

Loved the experience of dining, The place looks neat and clean, though a bit noisy since everyone talking could not hear the music playing. The Monday Thursday three meal special we picked was good. So we tried 4 different dishes and 4 different deserts. All together it was a nice experience. Yeh waiter was completely awesome explained us about the menu and about the place Very humble and polite.

Have been to the restaurant many times now. Every time I had the steak because it is one of the best places for me for steaks. Tonight we went because they have a complete course with desert for $29.95. My wife and I decided we should try something different tonight. We both picked the Panko schnitzel. Well they brought the order to us. Our first bite we could something didn't taste right. We believe they cooked it in very hot oil. All we could taste was the burnt Panko, no meat taste what so ever. When the waiter asked us about dinner we explained what was wrong. He apologized for it and within a few minutes he again brought a new serving. This one was really good. Enjoyed the rest of the dinner. Just a note. The schnitzel had a very light gravy with mushrooms on it. I never had it served like this. It was good but when I usually have schnitzel it comes with nothing on it and you squeeze lemon juice on it. Next time I will ask for no gravy on it. Even though we had a problem we had a great time and will go back again. If your trying to find a quiet place this one is a bit noisy. The copper ceilings make the sound level high. But still a great restaurant.
