This is the 3rd time they have either messed up my order or just forgot stuff. 1st time I ordered a chicken parm and got no chicken. They said I would get comped for my next order. Which was a side of fries...next the driver left part of our order in the car and took 10 min trying to locate it. Now they just don't have part of my order. And all the other food we ordered was under cooked hard pasta. These people need to do better. This is food people. People are eating it. Do better.

Franco's is a local staple of Windsor, and although I had moved away, when I come back, I like to come back to the local spots that are rich culture in this city. I came with a group of friends and family after a huge event we had today at the Ciociaro Club, and we we're very hungry and looking for a local spot to eat. We had arrived in two different groups, and were immediately greeted and taken to our group, which was in a private area in the back, which made it more intimate for us to socialize with our group and unwind. Our waitress was amazing, she was on top of everything, asked us our names, made sure we had our drinks and conversed with us, gave us opinions about the menu. Our waitress was wonderful, the length of time between getting our drinks and food took a bit longer than I expected. Our salads came out first, dressing on the side, which I do prefer, so I don't have to have a salad soaking in dressing, then I feel we waited for our food to finally come out, and my Manicotti that I had ordered took even longer because of a mishaps in the kitchen, no fault to our waitress and it was cold in the middle, so I think they were in a rush to get it out to me, next time I'll wait a bit longer for a hotter meal. The ambiance was semi loud, I could barely hear the music over the talking of our group, which was fine. The washrooms were located upstairs, they could certainly use a bit of updating. Two of the doors don't close properly and the soap dispenser is out of order so they have a bottle of soap on the counter, and the taps are touchy, turning them on slightly you're getting yourself wet, it could be because it's an older building. It was wonderful to be back home in Windsor, in one of the many longstanding restaurants. Overall I had a good experience, good company, the food was what you would expect of a classic Italian restaurant, the service was wonderful, our waitress was awesome. It was nice that we were in a private area so it felt we had the place to ourselves. Classic Windsor experience, nice to be home and have a nice local meal.

Usually francos is a good hour wait for the food delivery, so Ive become accustomed to that and lukewarm food. I like their panzerottis and the price is reasonable though so its a compromise I can tolerate. Todays delivery made it in a speedy 45 minutes. Impressive. And that was the last good impression today. Ive already been disappointed by their poutine previously so i skipped the thought of their cold fries with congealed brownslop. I was craving a bit of something different so we added jalapeno poppers and battered mushrooms. Do not waste your money. The battered mushrooms were so tiny i had to eat them with a SPOON. Seriously. A box of dime sized cold mushrooms. The batter was about as yummy as if they dipped the mushrooms in sawdust and then deepfried them and the ranch sauce was so watered down it was like a thin tasteless soup. The poppers were ok not horrid but ive had waaaay better and again the same tapwater ranch. Moral of the story...dont be fooled by the menu, Francos is a pizzajoint and should stick to pizza and related pizzatype products.

I came here with my family. 2 of us had the Tuesday dinner buffet, it looked decent but nothing to rave about. My brother had the margarita pizza which was very good. Thin crust, lots of flavor, and cooked perfectly. I had the pasta carbonara which was okay but it was cooked incorrectly. The egg was curdled so instead of a creamy sauce, I got scrabmbled egg pasta. When I mentioned it to the waitress all she said was that it always looks like this. I've had pasta carbonara all over Windsor, Toronto, and Italy so I know it's not supposed to look like that. Plus a quick google search will tell you the same. I would give this a 1 star but they did give a lot of bacon, a big portion, and the pizza was good so for that I give 2.

This is my favourite Italian style restaurant. The employees are so nice and helpful they make you feel at home. The staff goes above and beyond to make your experience comfortable and familiar. I had the classic spaghetti and meatballs and it tasted just like grandma use to make. The restaurant is clean and roomy.

I travel plenty for business - and I have to state that this is possibly one of the best pizza I've ever eaten anywhere across North America. It's been awhile since I've eaten at Franco's - but I do remember that I have to compare just about every pizza I've ever eaten to Franco's because I just like the way they cook it up. Sadly most of the places in Canada and the US don't match up in flavour to the pizza that Franco's has - and many times I just wish I could call them up and have it delivered to me across the country.

Terrible service today. Placed an order for delivery, tried to give the person on the phone our address when she didn't ask for it & they confirmed from our phone# that it was on file (we had ordered previously). An hour and 45 minutes later I called to check on the order & was told it was just going out. We don't live far from the restaurant. Called again after another 15 minutes to cancel; someone else got on the phone (I assume a manager) to apologize as it appears they didn't have our address on file after all. Is there some reason no one called back to ask a lot sooner than this? Forget the offer of a 'credit on our next order'--as if there's going to be one--forget the no-charge for today's order. I doubt it had even been prepared. Really wrecked Friday night. Thanks a lot. Finished with this place.

Ordered a pizza. 2 toppings. Nothing fancy. Was told 25 minutes on delivery. 2 hours later, still no pizza, & they give me the run around during several phone calls. Do NOT order Franco's if you're staying in a hotel for hockey. Your player will be starving, while you're ready to throttle every employee in the shop. If they show up with a cold pizza, I'm going to flip my .

This review is for theirlunch buffet. There were two tables, one for salad. Another one for hot food plus some desserts. The only thing special about the salad was that they had marinated mushrooms. There is a small table where they had a pizza cut into very small slices. The pizza was not looking good, I didn't bother to try. As for the hot food, they had meatballs, pasta, risotto, fried chicken, soup, fried fish, potatoes and veggies. Their fried chickens taste more or less like those that you can buy from grocery stores' deli department. The pasta was a disappointment, given that this is supposed to be a authentic Italian restaurant. The sauce was too acidic. I did not tried the meatball, as it wasn't very appealing. The best item was the fried fish. I had no less than 5 small pieces. Other items I tried were the risottos and veggies. At around $10, the price is hard to beat.
