Definitely coming back! Northwestern Chinese cuisine is some of my favorite and they deliver. I’m a fan of thick noodles so I’m glad there’s an option for that in the signature Lan Zhou noodles, plus an option for extra spicy. Spicy, savory, and hearty with the warm soup and thick noodles.

We also tried the Salt and Pepper chicken which was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy inside. The tea leaves, spices, and garlic added a ton of extra flavor too. I’m a big fan of the dish—very matches my preferences.

On a different visit, we also tried the tender lamb which was absolutely delicious with the sauce—added savory and some sour.

The staff was also very friendly and accommodating on a day where they were completely slammed. I’m coming back for sure!

This was my first time trying this place. I went to lunch with some coworkers and we all ordered: Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Beef Noodles 兰州牛肉面. I loved that we got to choose our noodle style and heat level. The dish filled us all up and we left satisfied. We plan to visit again and try more things. If you’re on the fence about trying it.. go for it!!

I got thin noodles. Regular heat level. Next time I plan to up the heat level. All my coworkers got mild heat.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I was particularly impressed by the diverse team working seamlessly together to create a harmonious dining experience.

As for the food, it was acceptable overall. Having visited Lanzhou, the birthplace of hand-pulled noodles, I can see that the owner is making a commendable effort to stay true to the authenticity of this iconic dish. While the noodles themselves are well-executed, earning an 8 out of 10 in my book, it’s clear that the absence of certain traditional ingredients slightly affects the flavor. The beef and lamb skewers were decent, but the chicken was overly salted, making it quite unpalatable. I hope the owner takes this feedback into consideration to refine the recipe and elevate the dining experience.

If you are looking for authentic beef noodle soup, this is the place!  We are new to Boston area after living in Asia for 20 yrs.  I have been craving good authentic Chinese noodles and other specialties here but so often disappointed.  Not so at Lan Feast.  The beef noodles here would rate high against the best in China.  Amazing homemade, hand pulled noodles, incredible broth with homemade chili oil.  Pure heaven.  Service was fast and friendly.  I will definitely go back  again for the beef noodle soup as well as to try some of the other dishes in this lovely restaurant.

I went as soon as I could for a second time. The hand pulled noodle soup have a beef soup that feels like the classic soothing fatty note.

I tried thin noodles and they are in the pic. Thin is my favorite. I’ve also tried regular and extra wide. Some broth from the noodles flicked onto my sweater.
