Five stars for a McDonald's? Yes, but only because their coffee is so darn good. The absolute, hands down, no holds bar, best coffee around. If their coffee could talk it would say, "I'm delicious," but coffee can't talk, that's just ridiculous. Now let's compare. Tim Hortons coffee just tastes weird, like it was burnt, then got cold, then rewarmed in a microwave. I've had the Pike's Place from Starbucks and it isn't bad, especially with cinnamon. Dunkin Donuts is good, but for the price and taste, McDonald's has everyone beat. This review can apply to virtually any McDonald's because their coffee tastes just as good in NYC as it does in Detroit or East Lansing. This particular McDonald's is always clustered with hungover students in the morning and drunk students at night. Sometimes the service is quick, but most times not so much. They also play the worst 80's and 90's music imaginable. My last two visits I had to endure the musical styling of Alannah Myles in the song "Black Velvet." But to be frankly honest, I'll make concessions for their coffee. Plus, this McDonald's has a second floor which is quite a novelty. Prices are relative per area, for example, a cup will be more expensive in a big city or a nice suburb. So even though a medium cup will run you $1.19 or $1.26 out the door in East Lansing, expect to pay a few cents more or less elsewhere.

I wouldn't know how food or coffee taste because after waiting for 10 minutes I gave them tickets and they were moving as slow as turtles. Will never come to this location again. Worst experience ever!!!

This McDonald's is by far one of the worst I've been to, and that's not an exaggeration. The food is consistently cold and never fresh. The overall experience is unpleasant. They're charging me for a water cup and all my extra condiments, which is ridiculous. On top of that, the staff is extremely rude, showing a clear lack of proper customer service training. The atmosphere is just terrible overall.

literally never order mcdelivery if you want your food on time, reasonable prices, and half decent customer service. i was trying to grab a late night bite after the bars, and due to the time, and the choice to stay off the roads, thought it would be a good idea to order mcdelivery (not to mention it was the only option given doordash stopped delivering at 2AM. SINCE WHEN?!?!). but no, i placed my order at 2 am thinking it would arrive in 30 minutes MAXIMUM. boy was i incorrect. it is currently 413 AM and im STILL waiting for my food. i tried contacting doordash delivery services to cancel my order and issue a refund , but the woman basically told me there was nothing i could do, considering her nor i could reach the dasher. i was told she wouldn't be able to give me a refund and to just wait for my order. i'm honestly peeved, and maybe my issue is more so with doordash, but shame on mcdonald's for partnering with such a bum delivery service. i know for certain i will never again be getting mcdelivery. good riddance.

Food is moderate, I'd rather drive just a bit down the road for the Okemos location. Staff is rude. Customers in the PM are always hammered college kids, so it's a very overwhelming and loud atmosphere.

Terrible! Ordered before a friend and he got his food while I waited for an hour with no response from employees wasting my gas and they said the app doesn't take orders past a certain time when like I said I ordered before my friend. Still no refund yet!

With an empty lobby, waited 18 minutes for a chicken sandwich and fries. Three managers were present, two hours f which were just walking around doing very little. When my order was ready, one of the managers bagged it and dumped my fries upside down in the bag. I watched them do about 25 drive thru and door dash orders while I waited. Manager was very nonchalant and unapologetic about the wait. I would give zero stars if I could. Terrible service.

Never doordash from here. I ordered at 11:30 now it's 1:13am and it says it won't come till close to 2am. Update it finally cam it's 5 2:56am I didn't get a refund
