Remember that thing I said about loving public transit? Well in my town it is pretty sucky...although I think it has gotten better over the years. I would rather give it 2.5 stars, but since I don't have much choice in that, it gets two. CATA is our bus system in the Lansing area and it takes you to a good number of places, especially now, but when I was a APWAC (annoying person without a car) it was such a bitch getting around on it. In particular, the South Harrison bus...it was so feckin sporadic!! Some days it would take you like 1.5 hours to catch one stupid bus, some days, 20 mins, and other days it wouldn't come at all. Since CATA took over MSU's bussing system, I think they've become a little more timely, and I'm actually surprised/glad to see that they put a stop on my road (a pretty major thoroughfare in East Lansing), but of course now, I hardly ever ride CATA anymore...

Hey CATA I like your bus that runs late night between downtown Lansing and E. Lansing, the "Entertainment Express". Saved my ass for sure and a hell of a lot cheaper than a cab ride.

Please count how many passengers are on the bus on any given route outside of MSU. I have counted 4 at the most. Mostly one or two. Can we afford this limousine?
