We had a hankering for a hot dog so we decided to try JJ's. Cute, little establishment in the gateway to the Downtown area. There is street parking, a walk-up window, and small seating area inside. Everything was clean and the team member we encountered was helpful and friendly. The hot dogs were decent, nothing exceptional but nothing bad either. Would consider coming back to try another type of hotdog in efforts to support a small local business.

Yes, they serve veggie dogs, just ask for one! The Dog House is located on the corner of Michigan and Pere Marquette, where the old Good Fella's Bagel shop used to be. It's a tiny little place that can fit about six customers inside. There is a small bench and three barstools for those who want to dine in. Everything comes in styrofoam to-go containers so you can walk and eat too. As I waited for my friend to arrive, a man waved through the window and motioned me into the building. The guy smiled, greeted me, and handed me a loyalty punch card. The hot dogs were tasty and filling and most importantly, the coney sauce was on point! JJ's Dog House is quick, cheap, and delicious!

Stopped by after a visit to local museum and was so impressed! We loved the outdoor seating, the owner was incredibly helpful and nice and my hotdog was delicious! Found this place over the summer and have been here many many times. It's got a pull up window to order, tables to sit on outside or in, and the owner knows what he is doing. The hot dogs are amazing! Uses top notch beef franks, it snaps when you bite into it. The quality is amazing. Chicago dog or coney style, all for $5. Great deal. Don't sleep on the Italian beef sandwich either. Get it wet and with spicy peppers. All for $8. Add any chip and drink for $2 more. Thank me later.
