Min fiance och jag tillbringade några kvällar här medan vi holidaying i Minneapolis. Dryckerna är rimliga priser och platsen har en bra atmosfär om det är upptagen eller tyst. Personalen var vänliga och hjälpsamma, på vår första natten rekommenderades vi att vi skulle behöva vårt pass för ID eftersom andra former från utlandet inte skulle accepteras. Jag skulle definitivt vara tillbaka om jag besöker igen.

Vi träffade vänner för en drink på en tyst tisdagskväll. Den inspelade musiken var lite högt för konversation men verkligen inte dåligt för en bar. Musiken själv kunde inte lätt kategoriseras men när jag stämde in var det intressant. Grattis till kuratorn. Glaset vin serverades i en bar häll glas, jag antar att allt med en stam var för bräcklig. Men priserna var rätt, atmosfären intressant och det passade våra behov för konversation i grannskapet.

Jag träffade några vänner här, den platsen var inte packat så vi kunde välja det område vi kände var mer bekväm för vår konversation. Jag var förvånad över på det enorma utbud av olika stilar av möbler och utsmyckningar. Och låg lite av en germaphobe, kunde jag inte sluta tänka på alla de gamla toaletten var dåligt städad och stoppade möbler som har sett bättre dagar. Jag antar att det är intressant eftersom atmosfären är verkligen ovanligt. Men det är inte för minimalisternas.
Det var drinkarna bra och vi njöt av en avslappnad tid med ingen kommer att bry mig om, som var riktigt bra.
De har en liten uteplats och en biljard så det finns något för alla.
Det är en unik upplevelse faktiskt.

Jag var en grads student vid UofM och en dag några vänner och jag bestämde mig för att fira slutet av snåla. Så fort jag kom de frågade mig för ett ID trots att jag har +30 år och jag talade om att killen jag inte skulle för att dricka någon alkohol. Jag visade honom min student-ID och sa till honom att mitt enda-ID som en internationell student var mitt pass och student visum för att med honom men jag berättade också säkerhetsskäl jag aldrig ta dem med mig hela tiden. Den dagen var dels regnade så att föra min officiella dokument i ryggsäck var mycket risku.
Den här killen vid ingången sa bara "INGEN URSÄKT KAN DU inte NÅGRA I".  Han ville inte släppa in mig och bad inte ens låt mig fick på detta ställe med honom att tala om mina vänner jag kunde inte bo. Den dagen min telefon batteriet dog och han gjorde inte låt mig ta betalt det så jag kunde ringa mina vänner (som redan var inne) att låta dem vet jag var att lämna och kunde inte få i eftersom jag inte hade och-ID.
I slutet han sa till mig det var inget personligt men sen jag upptäckte de låter någon annan att få in utan en-ID eftersom det inte kommer att dricka.
Ska jag lägga till att det här andra personen var amerikanska och jag var inte?
Jag hade rest till så många ställen och efterlevas i olika städer och kändes aldrig så skäms eftersom jag kände på detta ställe.

Detta är en av mina favorit barer i Minneapolis.

Jag älskar atmosfären. Belysning och färgglada. Det finns färgade glödlampor överallt. Det är slumpmässiga konstverk över hela väggarna, baren är trä med smält candle wax överallt.

Sofforna är bekväma, stora och varje person kommer att sjunka ner i dem. Detta är ett bra ställe för ett datum och att få tillsammans med vänner. Jag älskar att komma hit på vintern där jag kan lounge på soffor med mina vänner och har några drinkar.

Parkering är inte bra. Det är i Dinkytown, så du måste parkera några kvarter bort och gå om du tar bussen.

Servicen här är ok. Vissa människor är vänligare än andra. Det finns en scen och dansgolv för levande musik och dans.

Det finns en liten uteplats på sidan av baren. De har värmelampor på hösten och vintern.

Detta är ett av de mest unika barer i Dinkytown, och i Minneapolis i sin helhet. Mycket kul inredning plus gott om och bekväma sittplatser gör detta till ett utmärkt ställe att komma med vänner - inte så mycket en bra plats att köra in/träffa människor som med andra college barer. Drinkarna är bra, om än inte lika billigt som "dollar shot natt" typ college barer.
