This was the worst experience we've ever had at this Budget. ( We rent from this site every time we're in KC). We scheduled a 30 day rental for a full size car, with a premium upgrade. We got a Trax. The TRAX is THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE, NOTHING premium about the TRAX. . You had to manually pull the seat forward or backward and still had a difficult time seeing over the dash. The cruise control wouldn't release.We asked for a different vehicle the next day after driving it around KC . Also, there was garbage under the seats from the previous renters. They said no, we'd need to go to the airport, because that's where they get their cars from. We went to KCI and they said they had no cars to trade. There were 3 of us traveling over multiple states over a 30 day time frame. We paid quite a bit of money for this, and it was horrible. No room for luggage. The seats are basic seats with minimal padding, we felt every bump in the road. VERY loud road noise. We have rented MANY vehicles over the last 40 years, and this was the worst. We have always had great customer service at Budget on North Oak, but not this time. Makes us think different for the next time.

Really great experience with this car rental company. On Friday night my car broke down and no repair shop could fix it until Monday. I needed a rental and had no reservation. The lady at the counter was able to get me in and out quickly and efficiently! I told her I might need the car past Tuesday which is when I said I'd bring it back, she said if that ended up being the case to just call and they'd help me out! The car was a red Outlander that drove extremely well and was in great condition. Overall I would highly recommend!

I rented a truck from this location since I was moving from St. Joe to the Briarcliff area for work and it was easier to reverse commute the truck. Everything seemed okay at first. I was driving the truck while empty and it wouldn't go above 60 MPH without shaking like I was about to be shot into orbit in a Campbell's soup can. The next morning when the moving company went to load the truck, the battery and alternator were dead. The local location stopped answering my calls/questions. I was left on hold while the men from the moving company jumpstarted and fixed the truck. When I somehow managed to get moved and drop the truck off, the associates kind of Kanye-shrugged like "what could you expect?" Never. Again.

Order a 7 person Van for a family vacation. Upon arrival we were given a 7 seat SUV with little to no room in it's place. It was unclean with old masks found in the trunk, we were told it wad the only vehicle available amd it was a take it or leave it situation. We were left with no choice since we were leaving at 6am the following morning. I do not reccomend Budget Rental, and they don't have proper clean practices for COVID in place at thid location.

Warning - they may or may not have your vehicle. I made a reservation January 18 for a cargo van and was called July 17 - two days before I was to pick up the vehicle - and was told they would not have a van for me. I was forced to scramble and pay significantly more than my reservation was for. When I called them they offered ZERO compensation.

Reserved a car a month in advance for a family vacation. And they rented the car to my mother in law (we where taking 2 cars) the night before. Called me the night before and told me I would have to come in 2 hours after my pickup time to wait around and hope someone brings in a car. I do not recomend renting anything important from this company. They also refuse to reply to my complaint.
