Whelp. A Burger King is a Burger King. The food was fine. The place looked clean and up to date. The service was dramatically delayed. My visit was the first time I tried them, and we got in the drive through line for a quick order to get the 7 year old fed... and we ended up stuck. It was 32 minutes from the time we got to order plus however long we were stuck before that... Cars in front, cars behind. Everyone grumpy. The 7 year old whining about being hungry and bored... They blamed online orders. And maybe that's true. But it didn't do much to help our situation. We drive by every other day on our way to and from a class for the 7 year old. And he has stopped asking me to get him Burger King. I may give them another chance, but only if I chance to see an empty drive through line.

I think they either need new speakers or a headset as i had to yell my order multiple times. They charged me for a 12 piece chicken fry I ordered and I got maybe half of that. It wouldn't be that big of a deal but it was the only thing I ordered for myself, so it was a little agitating.

Threatened while at Burger King. Last night we stopped at Burger King, 11500 East 23rd St Independence. There was a long line, but we waited patiently. After a 10 min. wait, just to get to the speaker, we were greeted by a barrage of employee drama. We couldn't even get a word in edgewise, as the woman claimed that she could only serve fries, and onion rings.. Apparently the cook had quit, and she was a new employee without any knowledge of anything. Okay, stuff can happen, right? However, we sat in line for 30 minutes more, just trying to leave. Those of you familiar with that location know that once one enters the drive though area, one is stuck. Three cars ahead of us had stuff handed out the window, without payment. When it was down to just one car in front of us, again after a 30 minute wait, we were shocked to see the employee hanging out the window chatting. Seriously, I was really getting mad. Nature started to call, and all they did was sit and chat. After quite a while the employee handed out three big bags of food, without accepting any payment. Then...... more chatting. This female employee looked down the line several times, and could see that there were 7 more cars trapped in the drive through. It get's better. The car in front of us stated to pull off, but suddenly slammed on the break. They then began chatting again, another two minutes at least, and then free drinks were handed to them. More chatting ensued, and I finally dared to let a short toot from my horn. Just a quick toot, as a reminder that there were 8 cars trying to get out. As soon as I had done so, a big man, with long dreadlocks, jumped out of the passenger side of the car in front of us. He started to threaten, cuss and berate us. All the while the employee was smiling and watching. I'm a little old lady, and thus I was afraid. I apologized for the sake of safety. I admit that I was scared to death. He got back in, AND the chatting continued for another few minutes. When we pulled up to the window, we suggested that she should close the place, since nobody could get anything. She was all attitude, and rude, literally hanging out the window, and said she had already done so. Well, why were people in front of us getting free food, and why was she hanging out the window chatting, knowing that there were all those people in line, and more pulling in? No, never again will I use that Burger King I will be calling the manager, and corporate. If that guy had a gun, I would have not had any way to escape. It really looked like he may be kin, or friends with the employee, who hung out the window with a smug smile. Has anyone had a bad experience there? The last four times we were there, over the past few months, there is always employee drama, and they feel the need to share it with their customers.

They were out lettuce, ketchup, tomatoes, zesty sauce, ranch, and mustard, to start with. After advising we were there to pick up our app order, five minutes later order was handed out without the ordered fries and onion rings. After pulling forward as requested we proceeded to wait for an additional 22 minutes for them to correct their mistake. No cheese on whoppers in which extra cheese was requested.

I went through drive thru Saturday night it was late and I had my daughter's with me they were cranky I was tired and the manager Tina working drive thru was amazing she was patient and kind she also was more than helpful. I even went through the drive thru another time and ordered another meal.

This place is ok. Went through the drive-thru to get a veggie burger (I used to eat them in my teens). The veggie burgers here are the Garden Burger by Morningstar Farms! It comes on a bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and ketchup. I got mine without mayo. It was good. I got the combo with fries and a small vanilla coke zero. Now I don't know if the fries are vegan /or vegetarian, so you would have to check the BK website.

The veggie burger is hit and miss..sometimes it's great, others it's hard as a rock.:( More options for vegetarians and vegans please! And make sure the veggie burger isnt freezer burned and hard as hell before u give it to a paying customer, LOL. And there's flies all when u go through the drive thru, one flew in the car which is annoying. They need to spray and clean the drive through area. I mean, I bet no one gets paid enough there so they'd be pissed when they're the one that has to do it so.... (pic is my barely eaten meal in the trash)

They will never get your order right and are rude if you request something be made a particular way - IE triple whopper with ONLY ketchup, pickle, bacon, and cheese

this place is horrible. they need to shut it down and do it over again. the drive thru menu is falling apart and they never have ice cream. how can you be open for 24 hours and don't have everything on the menu available. NEVER AGAIN!! avoid this location at all cost, THANK ME later
