What a lovely place! It's a huge space filled with tons of light and lovely plants! I had a Carmel latte and my friend had the Berry latte. He also had a slice of lemon berry cake and a delicious roast beef sandwich! I love that they are still open till 4pm too. The owner took time to visit and talk about the community involvement he has with coffee and groups. He has big ambitions to make this space welcoming for all people! Also they have all the milks and a drive through too! They have a rewards program and Friday specials. They have free WiFi and meeting spaces as well.

I came across Kinship Cafe online and decided to check it out and I'm glad I did. The space is welcoming and perfect for everything from a casual coffee catch-up to a quiet work session. The owner was incredibly kind and even crafted a custom steamer drink for my son, who happily declared it "a taste of Christmas in his mouth"... lol. I ordered one of their specialty drinks, the Cinnamon Delight, and it was smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I needed to start my day. They recently moved from the Strawberry Hill neighborhood to Independence, and I'm glad they're here. Now that I know what's on the menu, I just might swing by the drive-through next time. Whether you're local or just passing through, Kinship Café is worth a visit. I'll be back!
