We stopped in here as a secondary option due to another place having a ridiculous line around the building. I am glad that we went here instead. This was our first time visiting 1889 Pizza Napoletana and we will for sure be back. When we walked in we really liked the aesthetics of the restaurant. It was very clean and well kept. The staff greeted us right away and informed us where the menu was as it was our first time. There are numerous selections to choose from. I ordered The Butcher pizza and it was amazing. I definitely could've shared with my significant other and would have been content. The serving sizes are roughly a medium pizza so they could easily be split between 2 people. The atmosphere was inviting and they had a solid play list playing in the restaurant. Overall we were thoroughly impressed and plan to return next time we're in Kansas City.

Delicious pizza and a cute aesthetic! We visited 1889 for a late weekend lunch, service was very quick and the place was not crowded. We were immediately struck by the modern luxe aesthetic, with a cool color palette and lots of shine. We ordered the caprese salad with chicken and the butcher block pizza - both were excellent! The pizza had a flavorful crust and the pepperoni and sausage toppings were outstanding. My only feedback for 1889 would be to turn more attention to cleaning; we sat at a table that had not been cleaned from the last order, and the light blue cushioned seating had numerous stains and crumbs. Otherwise totally recommend!

My experience at 1889 was wonderful. The food was amazing, they helped me figure out what I wanted. It was wine night and they let us try a few to figure out which one we wanted. But I gotta say the food was great ambiance was fun but Erica took the best care of us. She was so happy and made our experience better than it would've been without her. You would think she could run the whole place by herself. She's a wonderful human! All would be blessed to experience her service.

We used Pizza Napoletana for my daughter's 8th birthday party.Each kid received their own personal pizza and then we ordered three regular size. The pizza was good. The service via phone and delivery was great. I will saw that going forward when I return I will just get a kids pizza. The regular pizza was truly not much larger but it was $18 and the kids pizza was $7 or $8 and that was with paying extra for pepperoni. I was just shocked by the small size of the regular and that may be due to me not understanding Neapolitan pizza but hopefully this review helps you. The pizza was good though

Shoutout to Erica and Liz (The Best). Wanted an authentic Neapolitan Pizza. The atmosphere was spot on and the outside sitting area was very Family friendly. Our order consisted of 1 Neapolitan Pizza. We sat outside and enjoyed ! Ericka blessed us with Gelato and Pizza. She was such a Blessing. The service was 10/10, no complaints. PIZZA WAS HOT AND FRESH
