This place was highly reviewed, so we had to try it out. Did not disappoint! Definitely, 5 stars! Everything we ate was great. Tacos, beans, rice, burritos filled with various types of meat were all outstanding. Beers were ice cold and served in a frosty mug. Service was quick and friendly and ambiance was that of a typical taqueria.

Acosta's Taqueria is one of the new kids on SW Blvd. Now open for 2 months in the space formerly occupied by the short lived Sushi on the BLVD and the long term tenant Empanada Madness that moved to Crown Center. The space is pretty barren yet the menu has all the basics that a taqueria should have. I dined in with table service and a waitress. I ordered 3 tacos at $2.50 each - asada, pastor and birria. All were respectable in size and plenty of meat being held together with the double corn tortillas - nice. I also added a $2 chicken tamale that was covered in green chilli sauce. Wonderful. My only complaint was that on a 45 degree day, every time the door opened a blast of cool air came in. That may be a problem this winter. Be prepared to keep your coat on.

This restaurant has the potential to stay on SW Blvd. for a long time. The menu has some of items not found in many Mexican restaurants. My wife and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted immediately with so many options I wanted to try I went with the recommendation of our server, which I believe was the owner. He suggested I try the Machete Campechano which is a large oblong quesadilla made with heirloom corn masa filled with 3-choices of meat I chose to go with carne asada, chorizo and al pastor it also had Oaxaca cheese. My wife went with 2-sopes with carne asada both of our plates were large portions and filled with greatness. I also tried the strawberry agua fresca which was very good. The next time you're ready to have authentic Mexican food I recommend you give Acosta's Taqueria a chance.

Acosta'd Taqueria is a smaller restaurant that is filed with dynamite food. The hoke made corn tortillas come in various sizes depending on the dish . The tortillas I had were perfect to make some taquitos with the mole rice and beans. Their menu has a number of great options and I would hope you give them a chance. El sabor del mole era bien rico y fue obvio que fue echo en casa!

We were hungry for tacos and this place had a very good rating. The owners are very, very nice. This street had many choices of legit Mexican food. It was very nice inside and clean. We shared a few choice of street tacos and different meats. All good.

We ordered to-go walking in, and it came out super quick. The tortas were delicious! There was an area to sit, but we just picked up. I'll be back again.

Omgeeee this lil family owned hole in the wall is amazing!!! You have to come try! This place will have you coming back for more !! Home made tortillas! Perfect taste. Just like mommas food!! And with an affordable price!! Yum !!!

I just took a minute from eating my lunch to hop on here and say, my food was DELICOUS! I got the hamburger with the fries, the fries had been sitting there for more than 30 minutes because I arrived super late. I thought I was going to take a bite of those nasty cold fries that are hard and so dry. NOPE my fries are okay temp and still has some crunch to it. Really looking forward to trying their prepared french fry plate....(also the agua fresca de jamaica was BOMB not too sweet just right) My coworker said "I think we should try have them more often" so there you go. TRY IT OUT, it will not disappoint.

Omg. This is what Mexican food should taste like quesa Barria taco big full of meat and cheese and the consommé wow so goood. Nachos were delicious and loaded with everything service was quick and very pleasant. A must visit restaurant. We will be going back. Oh come early for tamales they sell out fast
