OK, reviews from a while Back were great. It looks like this place has been sliding lately but decided to try it with some friends anyway.. cool atmosphere they sat us in the back room, though it was very loud. Our service was amazing. I can't remember her name, but she was on it! prices are a little high on everything, but it is in Zona Rosa. I'll tell you what! that house tequila the oatmeal caramel, that stuff is no joke! wow really tasty goes down smooth but they want $100 a bottle not that good we got two flights of the margaritas and they were really tasty. Kind of fun to try different flavors. The food was kind of run-of-the-mill Mexican. Their beans are weird though they are very light colored runny and taste weird we all agreed. almost like they add extra lard?

PHENOMENAL! I want to give them 10 stars. The drinks? *chefs kiss* The food? Holy smokes! AMAZING! The service? Top tier! This is my new favorite spot. I have searched high and low in the Midwest for good Mexican food, and this is it! Karla was our server, then Gabby took over. Both were amazing. I highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area. The ambiance is also nice for date nights, as they have rooftop seating.

Let's just say, in general, you can tell if a Mexican restaurant is going to have good food if the chips are fresh and the salsa good. Anejo was a failure from the get-go. The salsa was basically puréed tomatoes with no spice and no flavor. Chips were straight out of a bag. I ordered the street tacos al pastor and husband ordered the enchiladas. The meat in my tacos was pretty flavorless except for the strong taste of cinnamon. My black beans were the best part of the meal. My husband said his enchiladas tasted like cinnamon also. His chicken enchilada was topped with what tasted like cream of chicken soup. The outdoor seating area was fairly shabby. Our tables were two different heights and had a lot of wear. Service was quick when we first arrived. However, my food came out 10 minutes before my husband was served his food. No one came back to refill our water. Overall I do not recommend this restaurant.

Love love love this location up north! Meeting up for a good meal and drinks didn't disappoint with my Margarita Flights with my shit of house imported Tequila and Anejo Enchiladas! Everything was so good! Our service was exceptional, thanks to Yardira! She was patient, personable, prompt and responsive to our request and questions. Margarita Flights: strawberry on the rocks, pina colada frozen, mango frozen and spicy jalapeno I'm so glad I had leftovers and sharing is definitely a bonus... those beans and rice were meant for me!

I have been wanting to try this place for a hot minute now and I'm glad we did! There's always a wait here but it's worth a shot! A traditional upscale Mexican restaurant! We started off with some drinks from their amazing bar, this place is loaded with booze! We did a spicy pineapple marg, a spicy cucumber marg, and a strawberry mojito. We got toasted quick lol then for apps we did a guac which was decent, lacked salt and garlic in my opinion and a warmed street corn dip that was AMAZING. I ate the entire thing of that. For entrees we did a ground beef chimichanga and their house burrito. Both really good! To me Mexican food is always pretty good! This place isn't better than the next by any means, but their drinks and house specialities set them apart.

I've been several times & the food & drinks are all consistently tasty. They have nice patio seating options when the weather corporates. Atmosphere is very welcoming. This past visit they had a DJ for the patio & was playing music that seemed more fit for a night club rather than a family friendly restaurant at 6 pm.. that was certainly an interesting choice.

Terrible drinks and mixes. Not a place to stop for a drink. Zero craft. We ordered a margarita and an old fashion. The margarita was a pure sugar drink with no hint of anything good. So there was zero hope for the top shelf old fashion. Zero balance.

Food was pretty great! I get skeptical with Mexican food around the MO part of KC area, but this was actually delicious and full of flavor! We got the Pulpo ceviche cocktail and it was so good! Perfect texture and was thick, and they served with crackers! The verde for the pork was so good and had a good spice to it, and the black beans were tasty and not too much salt, glad I was able to sub them out for the pinto. The burrito was so big! The guacamole was fresh and the queso was nice and hot (nothing worse than getting room temp queso) lots of space and TVs to watch the game. The service was good! She did forget a few things and we had to remind her of what we ordered, but she was so friendly and polite that we didn't mind! Will definitely be back!

Been wanting to try this restaurant, especially cause they have a super cool rooftop. We didn't get set on the rooftop or outside patio, instead we were inside, which was lacking air conditioning or airflow. The wait staff looked miserable and sweaty. I felt for them. The place was jammed packed. The margarita was delicious and cold. The food was mediocre and overpriced. I tried everyone's food (joys of dining with me), nothing really stood out. Terribly disappointed in this one. I doubt I'd ever have reason to go back, well maybe for a margarita. The rest of the gang agreed, this missed the mark.
