I got the lobster roll, warm butter and it was fantastic! Perfectly cooked lobster and the roll was toasted as well! My wife had the clam chowder and it was the perfect amount. Also very very good! Can't wait to see them around KC more.

Solid food, but a few things could've been better. I was really looking forward to trying this place, and overall it didn't disappoint--but it didn't blow me away either. The lobster roll had good flavor and a decent amount of meat, but it could've used a bit more seasoning or sauce to really pop. The bread was fine, just a little on the dry side. The line was manageable, but the service pace was slower than expected. Staff were friendly though, and kept things moving as best they could. Drinks were served from cans, which is fine, but they weren't cold. Not a deal breaker, just a little detail that makes a difference. It's a solid option if you're craving seafood, but a few tweaks could take it to the next level.

I was ready looking forward to a tasty lobster roll like I've had on the east coast. We ordered the buttered lemon lobster roll and the mayo roll. While they had lots of plump lobster bits, there was absolutely no dressing, butter, garlic, or anything from the description. It was a bunch of plump lobster pieces on a barely toasted, barely buttered piece of Texas toast. They were exactly the same. Not a bit of lemon or garlic on the one that was described with those condiments, and not a whit of mayo on the other one. So - not fattening, but not flavorful. The lobster was a bit fishy, not as bad as I've had, but not like a fresh roll from lobster caught that day. They are highly overrated and we were sorely disappointed.

Delicious food & quick service! I got the Connecticut roll and it lived up to the hype. Sure, the price point is a little higher than the average food truck, but order any lobster item from any reputable restaurant and it will be more expensive and not near as good or plentiful as these rolls! For reference, a lobster roll IN Maine is minimum $25 for a 4 oz roll, and a 6 oz is going to be well over $30. WHAT A DEAL!

Finally caught up with food truck. Ordered via app to save my wait in line - Garlic Butter Lobster Roll Still waited an additional 11 mins past my requested time for pickup. There was plenty of lobster in the roll, bun not soggy but not much garlic butter flavor almost bland.

The food truck came to River Bluff Brewery in Saint Joseph, MO. I finally got to try it after seeing it on shark tank years ago! The Maine lobster roll was good but I didn't see much mayo so they are literal when they say a touch of mayo--which is good because the lobster shined through. This lobster was understandably cold. The bread was warm and fresh. The Garlic Butter lobster roll was AMAZING!!! The lobster is hot and tasty. I felt like I was eating a bite of the ocean. I'd get this again any day, all day. The lobster bisque was my fav! So creamy and dreamy and had nice chunks of lobster. I licked the lid. It was rich and creamy without being nauseatingly decadent. It's pricey, but it's not like we have lobster swimming the MO River, so I say it's worth it!

I lucked out when going to Menards today & saw the food truck in the parking lot! I decided to give it a try since I'd never had it before. There were a few people in line and lots waiting for their orders. Seemed like the wait wasn't long, and I didn't even wait 5 minutes for my garlic butter lobster roll with tots and a ginger beer, which cost $30 total with the extra $1 for a ginger beer instead of a can of soda, etc. The lobster roll was smaller than I'd anticipated, but very good. The roll was like a fancy butter toasted white bread with a thick bottom, delicious. The lobster was tender and tasty. The side of tots was humongous and good, nothing special. The ginger beer was "spicy" and a bit too flavorful for me, should've gotten the root beer. Service was friendly and as previously mentioned, fast! I was very happy to finally try this much hyped food truck and I would try it again in the future. I would give this review 5 stars, but the price for the roll does seem a bit steep for the size.

After all the hype and crazy long lines and mobile ordering technical issues, I finally got to try this food truck. The first time I ordered tots, the Connecticut and the garlic butter roll and a whoopie pie. The garlic butter roll was by far the best. It was delicious. The lobster was sweet and juicy and a good portion. The Connecticut was bland and the lobster was a bit dry and chewy. The tots were very generously portioned, crispy and yummy. And the whoopie pie? It was also surprisingly good. My second time I tried the lobster tots. This was my favorite. The lime crema was a little heavy (next time I'd order it in the side cuz it made my tots soggy) but added a complex flavor. They put a lot of lobster on top of the tots. It was juicy. Overall, It's kind of spendy - but it's yummy delicious lobster and we're land locked. So I think it's worth it. If they come back to KC again I'd definitely get some more lobster tots. Tip: download the app and mobile order. The app also lets u see where they going about 5 days out.

Delicious! Waited for it to arrive in Bellevue...it travels all over the world...it was definitely worth the wait..the lobster roll was heaven ..Dean had the lobster quesadilla..unbelievable...melted in your mouth..we both had the New England Clam Chowder...BOMB! it was parked a couple miles away in a very good location..lots of parking...a decent line but service was very fast and friendly! Until next time ..Cousin's Maine Lobster truck ...you are my FAVORITE of all time!

On a snowy cold day & was able to warm up with a roll, clam chowder & bisque. Every thing was delicious...so much lobster on the roll! I preferred the chowder over the bisque bc of the creaminess & more ingredients. Who doesn't love a sweet creamy soup on a cold Sunday! Staff was friendly with the limited amount of contact I had with him.
