This location of the embassy suites is really convenient as it is only a couple of miles from the airport. It has everything you need for a nights stay. Spacious rooms, tv, and a full bar downstairs with a huge lobby for you to work out of. This location is a bit outdated but the beds are comfortable and they have a great shuttle system to and from the airport.

Absolutely the WORST EMBASSY SUITED IN EXISTENCE. Worst hotel I've been to period. We found bugs in the bed. Oh isnt that such a nice surprise on your pillow right when youre about to go to sleep?? We had to trapse all the down to the lobby to explain the situation and request a new room. But did we get any apologies from the staff? NO. Just "yeah here you go" and gave us a card for an even worse room that was right down the hall from our first one. When we walked into our second room we immediately smelled mold. No soap in bathroom. Had to wait twenty plus minutes at the front desk because no one was there. Like what do you want us to do check ourselves in? Coffee maker didn't work. The carpet was gross and mildewy. Mold smell was disgusting. Everything was disgusting about this hotel honestly. DONT GO.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Do not stay here unless you're apart of the convention group. Smelled weed walking in the hotel. Smelled weed in the elevator. Smelled weed outside on our floor. Smelled weed all night in our room. Our AC leaked all day/night in our room. We played multiple towels of our own down because they didn't give us any OR any soaps. Not at all. 3 other visitors on different floors complained about the same things and got zero. Do not stay unless you want a 0 star stay.

Embassy Suites never let me down. This location is a bit dated. However it was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating and the airport shuttle runs near 24hrs.

While it's not the nicest Embassy and is in dire need of refurbishing, it got the job done. It's so confusing because Kansas City is in both Missouri and Kansas, but this one is in Missouri. Here is my breakdown: Service: 7/5: We called to get blankets on the automated system and it never came and with a live person and it came late. Also called for toiletries that never came so I went down to physically get it from the front desk. Attendees and food staff were nice and polite. Food: 10/10: Pro-Tip: don't like soggy lukewarm waffles from the free buffet area? Want food that hasn't been sneezed/coughed over and picked at by all the guests? Go the the omelet guy and get fresh piping hot pancakes made at your request or a custom omelet! Also hot/fresh regular and cheesy grits!!! (Just leave a couple bucks tip!) Facility/Rooms: 4/10: Old funky carpet, dusty plants and shelving, rooms are in dire need of upgrading. They do NOT clean your room daily but they sure charge the same price for the rooms! Location: 8/10: right off the highway and easy to find. Waffle House (if you like it) and a Cracker Barrel very close by, maybe not to walk but a very short drive. Not too far from MCI airport.

DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to be grossed out the whole time. Worst Embassy suites ever! I normally really enjoy them but this one sent us over the edge. STARTING OFF STRONG with bedbugs IN the bed. Absolutely disgusting- more on that later. Not to mention it wreaked of mold in the room. The carpet was beyond filthy. Not surprised by the coffee machine being broken considering how unmaintained this place is. At the snacks counter, we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for the front desk guy to come so we could check out. Not the best service if you to ask me. Going back to the bed bugs, we asked for another room after finding a rather unpleasant surprise in the bed. Yep, we had to pack up at 11:45 pm and head to the front to request another room. Absolutely ridiculous how nasty the room was. Not surprised how the second room also had a musty moldy stench. The staff didn't seem to care about the bug sightings in our other room. No apologies or anything. Overall, an incredibly nasty, dirty, unmaintained hotel. Don't stay here.

Stayed here recently while visiting friends in KC. Room was clean and comfortable. As a Hilton Honors Silver member I requested a late checkout (noon instead of 11am). I was told that all 'late checkouts' had been taken. ??? Never had this happen before. Breakfast: Swamped with people. Fresh fruit bowls were empty and never refilled. Scrambled eggs were not edible. Coffee good, but tiny coffee cups; a few sips and you had to go back for more.

This Embassy Suites is not a good choice if you're looking for a hotel near the airport. If you're a Hilton Honors member, the Hampton Inn Kansas City Airport is a much better option. I booked this room online through the Hilton Honors app. The app gave you the option of booking self-parking which I did at a cost of $13.90, (note: at the time of my stay parking at the hotel was $12). At check-in time, the front desk clerk charged me $12 for parking. I showed him my reservation and that I had already paid for parking. He claimed to remove the charge, (spoiler alert he DIDN'T). Then, the desk clerk stated that I needed to swipe my payment card to pay for the room. Now for the record, I have a payment card on file on my Hilton Honors account. Whenever I stay at a Hilton property, I've never had to swipe my payment card, the front desk clerk at check in will ask me if I want to use the card on file for payment. I'm not sure why this Embassy Suites does this. This is a great question for the manager if she would ever contact me. He gave me the room key card and we went to our room. The pictures show what I found when we got into the room. So we go back downstairs, I SHOWED him the pictures of the room, to which he didn't seem interested in seeing, and was given another room. The next morning when I got the email copy of my receipt, I noticed I was double charged for parking. The front desk clerk removed the $12 parking charge and requested 5000 Hilton Honors points for my trouble. I'm thankful for this. I have tried to reach out to the front desk manager via phone and email regarding my stay, and as of this review, I have not heard back from this hotel. I really don't feel that 5000 points was enough given the condition of the room. I have also reached out to Hilton directly and they were not interested in helping me out any further than the points that were already given to me. As a few other reviews have stated, this hotel is dated and in real need of refreshing. The Embassy Suites used to be a step above the other Hilton properties, but this hotel shows they really are not. Needless to say, I will not be staying at this property in the future.

After reading the reviews for this Embassy Suites location I had to chime in and share the amazing experience that I had last week while I was there for some mind numbing meetings. First and foremost the location to the airport is awesome and it literally took me minutes to get there and to get settled in. Prior to my arrival I had spoke with Kristi at the from desk and she was incredibly helpful and I was impressed how quick she was to respond to my needs and questions! Her responsiveness and daily greetings were awesome to get and she made it clear that all guests are important and she wanted to make sure that she fostered that relationship from the get go. I didn't get to tell her goodbye but she knows that she was a great part of my stay. Everyone who stays in the Embassy Suites knows what they are best known for....the evening reception and the cooked the order breakfast. I had arrived at about 2:00 pm after traveling for about 20 hours. So after cleaning up it was all of a sudden time for happy hour. I was met with amazing conversation and back to back banter with Trina and Amber that first night in the bar. They made me feel like I was the most important customer in the room even though there was nearly 100 other customers there who were visiting for a volleyball tournament. That feeling of welcome was felt throughout the 8 days that I stayed there! And I kinda gotta say "Go Blues" for Amber! Later in the week I met the other bartender Domininic and that relationship was seemingly painless. It's like Trina and Amber had shared information about me and I felt that I'd known him for years! Overall one of the best Embassy Suite stays I've ever experienced! This crazy Hawaiian guy loves and misses y'all already. Mahalo for making me a friend! And remember when you're in Hawaii you are my Ohana and I'll show you the ropes

One star is too generous. Came here for two nights. Motorcycle convention hosted by the hotel- I know hotels aren't always perfect about quiet hours after 10pm (despite their signs everywhere). It's more just the common decency and the complete zero f###s given by the hotel that the motorcycles in the front and the club with a dj in the lobby made it impossible to sleep until at least 2-3am when the noise finally dies down. Would absolutely NOT recommend if you're flying in town trying to rest. On the other hand if you're here to try and catch a solid 2-3 hours of sleep a night, and have the hotel do absolutely nothing to help- this is the place for you.
