Stayed for a night on our way through KC in May 2025. Very nice facility and rooms. Our bed was comfortable and room was clean. Quiet and restful. Check in was very easy when we arrived. They were very friendly and even went out of the way to get my kids a cup of chocolate milk. The shower was not the most modern or new but was clean and worked. The one thing i would say, is that the area itself is probably not the best. They handed us a steering wheel lock and told us to park in handicap because there were a lot of car break ins. We go to bed early and get up pretty early so we had no issues but may consider that if you have a luxury vehicle or typically leave anything in the car.

This felt like a newer Holiday Inn. It is located northeast of downtown off I-29. I felt the biggest plus was the staff. Friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Not the biggest room. Occasional street noise throughout the night. Water pressure in the shower a little low. Bathroom had a sliding door which may be odd for room sharing as you can easily see in/out. I had a drink at the full service bar downstairs and the dinner was good. Menu has salads, sandwiches, fish and steak. Parking is uncovered and cost $25 per day.

Very disappointed with the personnel I have spoken to about a shirt that was stolen from our room the day we checked out. I have called many times, spoken to several people, asked for a manager and gotten no where.

Restaurant staff is amazing! Cece went over and above ensuring my morning was spectacular. Food is great, but staff is outstanding. Best latte ever! Thai shrimp - amazing!

So to start it took 20min to check in I was told my card was declined and it was on me had to call my bank for them to tell me that the staff was putting the wrong info in so the problem was on there side.. after getting checked i asked to do a late checkout though I am a member so that comes with my membership to IHG the next day I was told I couldn't do late checkout because there was no availability so I was rudely told to leave my room, the front desk staff are terrible and rude the only good thing about this hotel was the bar but even then they give out free breakfast coupons but can't even handle the business they get for the free breakfast because there is one cook and one bar staff member so good luck on getting your breakfast before breakfast is over the day time manager does not care or gives a fuck about you don't let her fake demeanor fool you

I stayed here on July 23, 2024. Our check-in and evening was such a wonderful experience. Then the next morning everything changed! The day staff & manager were horrendous. I asked for a late checkout at 10:12am and was told it's after the deadline, sorry! I stated that since I was a rewards member I got it, she said it's not there, so have to be out and proceeded to tell me that if I was not out, they would call police and remove me. I tried to explain and the other person just got out of shower and Marsha and Alissa the manager did not care! The manager did not have her name on the wall so I had to find out otherwise. This was the WORST experience I have ever had at a hotel in my life. Never have I been treated so rudely with no understanding. Even when I asked for an additional 30 minutes to finish our breakfast, was told they would have us escorted from the property!

We had an Airbnb fall thru and had to scramble and find a hotel room with two beds. First person I spoke to on the phone was Riven, he was amazing in trying to calm me down and also find if he had a room. He transferred me to reservations and again, a wonderful person helped me, patiently listened to me repeat my horror story and patiently waited on hold when a call about the rental came through. Once I arrived with my daughter (two females traveling alone, of course) Riven remembered me from our call and was so super friendly and professional. We later came down to the bar to grab some dinner and I chatted with Mitch while my food was being prepared. Mitch has a bunch of Kansas City knowledge to share. We chatted about the university, the city's trolley expansion, and about kids and family. I travel a lot for my kids sports, so I appreciate when locals want to share about their home. Everyone was wonderful. The rooms were clean and the beds were super comfy. The blackout curtains were great and we were so happy to watch the snow fall the next morning. I'd happily come back here or suggest it to anyone. Not big and fancy, but comfy, clean and safe. That is all I need.

Customers be WARNED!!! The room was wonderful and comfy, the nightmare is the Parking. There is a $20 parking fee which I happily paid!!! I filled out all the information regarding my car and was given a green tag, only to find when I went to leave the next day my car had been TOWED! I was not told I needed to make sure the green tag was in a visible location in my car or I would be towed. There also was no sign at the front desk to indicate this, only signs outside stating you would be towed if you did not pay for parking. When I went in to inquire at the front desk the staff was rude and matter of fact. She stated it was my fault and that I would not be refunded parking fee. She wrote a number on a piece of paper for me to call and then dismissed me. I was shocked to learn I would have to pay $355 CASH ONLY payment to get my car!!! How many people really carry that much cash on them now of days?! And there is no ATM close to the hotel. When I got my car I was not given or offered a receipt for the transaction either, I find this a little shady. There were at least 3 other guests from the hotel that also had this experience that morning whom I met at the tow lot. I just find this to be bad business at a BIG cost to guest.
