I stayed here during an impromptu trip to the city and this was the best hotel I could find near the airport in short notice. This is about 20min drive from the downtown but just a could exits away from the airport and rental car. They offer free shuttle to/from the airport between 4.30am to midnight and free breakfast everyday. Breakfast was pretty decent with some hot foods and cereal, fruit, pastry etc. On my last day, I checked out at 4.30 am and even though breakfast was not open then, the lady at the counter offered me to grab fruit or pastry from the kitchen area which was very nice of them. There's also Waffle house and Ruby Tuesdays next door which is convenient if you want to grab a late night meal although the hotel also has 24/7 restaurant available. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. I didn't get to try the pool or gym but overall had a good stay here.

Stayed here for one night and was very pleased with the experience. I used the Shuttle Service, which was responsive and prompt with airport pick-up, and took advantage of the on-site restaurant. I'm never sure what to expect, but the food was actually quite satisfying and tasty. Lots of folks downstairs meeting and mingling, which is a testament to the friendly environment that's been created by the on-site team. The staff were friendly and always smiling; they made me feel welcome and well taken care of while I was here.

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay each time I fly into Kansas City. The rooms have unique fun layout and are spacious. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The work desk in each room is located around the corner from the TV which is awesome. I can work with the TV on and still focus on what I'm doing. I wish there were more restaurants within walking distance but if you don't mind driving you can get to more than a dozen restaurants within a five minute drive.

Easy check in, plenty of parking. Host was kind and quick about getting us checked in. Everything seems to be clean. Masks are required. Pool wasn't open yet, bummer. The rooms was nice and big, except the bathroom. It was tiny. They did a great job with breakfast, they had plenty of individual cereal, fruit, pastries, sausage or bacon And egg sandwiches. Everything was kept warm or cold as needed. We were satisfied.

A hotel that lives up to function: providing a quiet place to sleep well. This Hyatt Place provided a breath of fresh air among the many other brands I've stayed at on a four week roadtrip. Welcoming staff, a clean room, good selection of bar items during Covid. The room impressed especially since it was right behind the elevator. In other hotels I would have switched rooms. Not here. Didn't feel or hear the elevator at all. This is the benchmark. Thank you Hyatt Place!

Really nice stay here. While checking in, we were warmly welcomed. The shuttle is super accommodating such that you can schedule times. Driver was efficient and got us to and from destinations safely and quickly. Rooms are large. TV is huge. So close to the airport so very convenient. Breakfast was really good.

This has been my mom and I's go to hotel when we visit our uncle for a few years now. The service is always great, rooms are comfortable, and breakfast is always included and delicious! Rooms and service: The service as always was so great! The people that work here seem to really enjoy their jobs. Whenever I have needed to check in early or check out late they seem to find a way to accomodate me. I have never had a problem and I always feel so welcome. As far as the rooms they are always so comfortable. I feel like I am at home when I am here. I love that there are two rooms--one for sitting and one for sleeping. The televisions are huge and have a few channels--there could be more. Throughout the hotel there are signs that mention that they are in the process of updating their rooms. I think they will be done around mid-December. I am excited to see what they may look like. Breakfast: I love that they have this included in the price! The breakfast buffet always has plenty of food and a nice variety. This time around they had fresh bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit, breads, and juices and coffee. I love that they allow you to get as much as you want and take it to your room with no questions asked. I am sad that they got rid of their fresh grapefruit, which was so good!! They still have a mixed fruit bowl, but the fruit looked pretty old and I was unsure about eating it. I decided to grab an apple instead. Happy traveling!!!

Really clean room with above average quality breakfast buffet. Super friendly staff rounded out our visit. I am a Hyatt rewards member so our breakfast was free each day. They rotated main dishes from pancakes, waffles, Chile corned beef hash and more. I was concerned about noise when we got a room near the elevator. But they had a posted quiet time from 9 pm to ?? and most guests respected it. Our only negative was a personal preference as the mattress was too hard for my husband. This is now my favorite budget hotel. It certainly didn't feel like a budget hotel though. I will stay here whenever I visit my family.

This is what a hotel should be in my opinion. Extremely attentive and kind staff, shuttle service to KCI, Zona Rosa, and the AMC on Barry Road, clean rooms, quiet atmosphere. Rooms are modern and comfortable with big screen TVs. I've stayed there multiple times and have never had a single problem. Free parking, free Wi-Fi, and a decent breakfast included. Highly recommend.

Worst hotel I have stayed in - been in a new hotel each night for one month. By the way the parking lot is so dark and there are no lights so good luck with keeping your stuff safe. The reason for my rating is the "Karen" working at the front desk named Stacy. Your typical textbook Karen in every sense of the word. Let me start by backtracking to the night prior - when checking in I was initially attacked before even greeted with - where was my mask!?. I explained about my medical exemption. Then I was given a red armband (no lie) equivalent to the yellow star the jews had to wear. I was told I needed to wear or carry that to breakfast the next morning so no one would bother me. Well sure enough out of the woodwork comes Karen (um I mean Stacy) racing up to me to accost me at the coffee bar - wear was my mask!? She repeated it twice before I could even respond! An outrage! OMG. I showed her my red armband (yellow star) and she said 'it doesn't matter' I "couldn't be in any public area" without a muzzle. I explained that the girl last night gave me my red armband so this exact situation wouldn't happen - and she then attacked me in a hostile tone, 'Who checked you in?' Of course trying to get someone in trouble, total Karen....Well I said "I didn't recall" - and she reiterated that she was going to have a talk with everyone about this! She stood there expecting me to leave - I told her I was going to pick up my food and go to my room. She then said, 'no, you can't be down here, we can bring it to you!' I was like, I don't even know what food is down here - she responds, "well we can let you know! " I said, I am getting my things myself. She wouldn't leave me alone and kept hounding me like a bitch in heat. I couldn't believe this Karen. She walked away and one minute later comes back and says, 'I am not trying to bother you" I told her 'you are!' OMG - it was unreal. I WILL NEVER stay in this hotel ever again, and would not recommend anyone to do so. The ignorance and the discrimination and rudeness Stacy displayed towards me was unacceptable. What she clearly does not realise is her discrimination taught somebody with a medical exemption/disability is just as bad as racial discrimination, gender discrimination, religious discrimination and will lead us again to Nazi Germany. She gives the Hyatt chain a bad name. I have never been asked to wear my yellow star (red armband) in any other hotel chain - nor made to feel like a leper (in any other hotel chain), and I believe full heartedly in karma - and know she will be getting hers.... And by law she is breaking it, to those who have medical exemptions! And if her mask/muzzle and "shot" is doing such a good job she shouldn't worry so much about me or others like me, now should she?
