Dear Kansas City Chiefs Fan Experience Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment and frustration regarding how my wife and I were treated during the Chiefs vs. Lions Sunday Night Football game. What was meant to be a special birthday celebration for my wife turned into an upsetting and humiliating experience that left us feeling singled out, disrespected, and criminalized. We have proudly been season ticket holders for three years, seated in Section 337, Row 16, Seats 16 and 17. During the game, I was approached by a yellow-shirt staff member named Kay and a blue-uniformed security guard identified only by badge number 0001, who refused to provide her name despite multiple polite requests. They instructed me to stop standing against the wall behind my seat, citing a "fire hazard" and a risk of falling -- though the wall reaches up to my neck and presents no such danger. I immediately complied, but I passionately and respectfully asked why I was being told to move while others nearby were doing the exact same thing without any warning. Rather than provide a direct answer or enforce the rule consistently, Kay returned later and accused me of "mocking" her -- which was untrue and deeply insulting. I was passionate, respectful, and simply wanted a fair explanation. After the situation seemed to settle, I went down to use the restroom and was on my way to get a drink when I noticed several members of the security team huddled together. I approached guard 0001 again to ask why no one else was being held to the same standard. Without warning or justification, and claiming that I stood against the wall a third time (which is false), she decided to eject both my wife and me from the stadium As my wife gathered her belongings, security guard David informed her she needed to meet me downstairs because we were being removed. At that point, several surrounding fans spoke up in our defense, expressing their agreement that we had been treated unfairly and that the situation was mishandled. What made this incident even more distressing was the way it escalated -- we were surrounded and escorted out by multiple officers as if we posed a threat. I am a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and live with PTSD, and the way this situation was handled caused significant emotional distress. I was not confrontational, disrespectful, or intoxicated -- I simply wanted to understand why I was being treated differently from others in the same section. Adding to the confusion and frustration, I have attached photos taken from my seat showing multiple other fans standing along the wall -- and even Kay herself standing in the same location she claimed was a "safety and fire hazard." This further reinforces the inconsistency and unfairness of how this situation was handled. This experience has left a lasting negative impression on what should have been a positive night of celebration. I take great pride in supporting the Chiefs organization and investing in season tickets year after year, but this incident does not reflect the values of fairness, respect, and integrity that the organization stands for. I am requesting a formal review of this incident and a written response regarding how this situation will be addressed. I would appreciate acknowledgment of how unfairly this was handled and assurance that steps will be taken to prevent other loyal fans from being treated in this manner in the future. Oh man, who would have guessed that there is a link to review on Yelp MY FAVORITE TEAM OF ALL TIME? I grew up in KC and my dad and I had season tickets at the old Municipal Stadium downtown. I vividly remember as a kid and teenager looking forward to home games on Sundays. If the Chiefs won, it would be a good week. if the Chiefs lost, it was a bad week. I remember so many intense games against the hated Oakland Raiders of old--Darrell Lamonica, Ben Davidson, Fred Bilentikoff--they always had someone who would pull off some magic at the end of the game to win. Today, I only get to watch the Chiefs on TV. But I watch every minute of every game, every season. The wife knows that when the Chiefs are on, I am not to be disturbed. Now that "my" team is back-to-back champion, and three time winner in the Mahomes era, I could not be happier. With winning comes merchandise. I have literally bought dozens and dozens of Chiefs t-shirts in recent years: division champs, conference champs, and world champs. I have enough t-shirts to last hundreds if not thousands of years. They are all I wear, either on the outside or under a regular shirt. One of these days I have to get back to KC to see a game live. And eat some KC BBQ! Go Chiefs!

This season I had a hint of interest in professional football because of the Miami Dolphins. Last night Kansas City Chiefs beat them. Because my Dad and the rest of my family are Dolphins fans and I'm a good sport I'm congratulating Chiefs fans on their teams victory. I'm going to look forward to college football next season. I lived in the Kansas City area for a little over a decade and in those years I was fortunate to attend a lot of games and have some very good memories from those game days and pregame tailgate parties still today. The Chief fans have always been enthusiastic and yes they expect to win every game - well today the game has evolved and although it still exciting it's not the football I witnessed first hand in those days. Marty Schottenheimer lead the team then and with players like defensive end Neil Smith and linebacker Derrick Thomas, it's no surprise that Arrowhead Stadium would become one of the loudest stadiums in the game. I was very fortunate to have witnessed some of the greatest players in game playing under Schottenheimer's ten-season tenure as head coach. With names like Christian Okoye, Stephone Paige, Barry Word, Albert Lewis, Deron Cherry, and on special teams, Nick Lowery, who was then the most accurate kicker in NFL History. The unbelievable acquisition of quarterback Joe Montana and running back Marcus Allen validates for me I witnessed some of the best football ever. Since those days I've lived in a few big market cities and my loyalty has somewhat faded for the Kansas City Chiefs although I still love to watch them play, it's definitely one of the best NFL products still today and very entertaining although my interest has decreased somewhat being today the game is more about the brand than the game in my opinion unfortunately and I doubt that at todays prices I would be able to attend the number of games I did back then...

Originally this team were located in a bad part of town, and were known as the Kansas City Thiefs. But after half the team got busted, they moved out to the spot next to the Royals and the rest is history. Hank Stram. Toss Power Trap. The purple people eaters choked on the bright red Kansas City offence. I wasn't born yet but that doesn't mean I didn't love it. I'm probably the biggest Chiefs fan in Buffalo. I've seen KC play at several stadiums around the country but never at Arrowhead. I have been to Arrowhead though. First-Hand Experience: I'm a big Chiefs fan and have seen them play live several times away from home, including in Baltimore (when they won) and in Buffalo (when they won), so maybe I am a good luck charm for them. Watching a Chiefs game is an absolute highlight of sports in general for me. Now that I've seen every NFL team play live & been to every NFL stadium (current and former), time to review them on Yelp! I love stadiums! I've been to every cool stadium in the UK & North America, due to my obsession with travel & sport. I've toured America as a musician for 7 years. In that time, I've seen sports games at (or visited when empty, or both) almost every major stadium in US and Canada. I have pictures of most which I'll upload at some point. Also, on future travels, I plan to take new pix, and add more stadia! Watch this space! ***back to regular review*** My most favouritestest team in the NFL is the Kansas City Chiefs. The reason for this is that when I first was introduced to the NFL and spoon fed it like a newborn baby back in 2002 I think it was, this Chiefs team, while going 8-8, were setting the league alight. Dick Vermeil had taken the Greatest Show On Turf across the state, and was trying to recreate his success in KC. Priest Holmes is to this day one of my fave players ever, and I also loved Donte Hall and his kick returns, Tony Gonzalez was the best TE of all time, I loved Trent Green, hell I even loved Marc Boerigter. Unfortunately after an amazing subsequent season in 03, it didn't really work out for my Chiefs. Peyton Manning came in and won at Arrowhead in the first playoff game (I was mad at the refs for that one) and I was left ruing Peyton's existence and to this day that's one of the reasons I like him less. The Chiefs have Liverpool-FC-Red kits (uniforms) and that is a huge part of the appeal. They're in a friendly part of the world - my KC and Topeka shows have always been amazing, not to mention Joplin and Springfield. KC has the best and perhaps most underrated food in the country... the BBQ here is worth a pilgrimage for. Lamar Hunt was the best owner ever, and amazing for soccer in the USA too. If his first name was Mike, though, it would have been really funny. Especially if he usually hung out in one specific bar. Try going into that bar and shouting "has anybody seen Mike Hunt?" And also Dick Vermeil who I already mentioned... best coach in the world. And as Kim said, the man cried on TV. A lot. And he knew how to play the game. I loved him. Arrowhead is the best and brightest and loudest stadium in the country. It should be used for World Cup soccer games but someone missed the boat. KC fans are not fairweather fans and they deserve more than 1 Superbowl. Andy Reid is in town now. And with Andy Reid on board, the Chiefs will win another Super Bowl. Andy deserves one and the Chiefs are playing fantastically. If you want food and you're in KC, try: Arthur Bryant's - best bbq anywhere Gates BBQ - very good Fiorella Jack Stack BBQ - more expensive but good Woodyard BBQ - outdoorsy BBQ, very good Town Topic - delicious mini burgers and shakees Hayes - same as Town Topic Miami Ice - lovely snow cones, delicious If you've got a hankering to watch the Chiefs then it's known as the "Hankerchiefs". Ha. Ha. Ha.
