I quickly hopped in for a sandwich to go and they thankfully were able to accommodate my limited time. This place is fresh looking. The design is nice. The menu options all looked good. I went with the blueberry pesto sandwich and added chicken. It was VERY good. I'd definitely recommend! Also, come to Florida please modern market eatery!

I did not care for my visit here. My husband liked his food, though, so I'm giving it three stars. I want to start off by saying that I'm not docking points because they were busy and it was hard to find a table, or because they were clearly understaffed, all of which is true- this is the P&L so can't expect much. My husband got the Chile Steak Sandwich and enjoyed it. I got a build your own salad, and that's where I first encountered an issue- the only menu that told me what I could put in the salad was behind the register, I had to ask for it and then felt rushed on deciding since there was a line behind me. In addition, not all the options are even on that menu- I said aloud "Oh, steak isn't an option," since it wasn't on the list. The cashier looked at me like I'd grown another head and told me it was. Okay. Moving on. Fast forward to the food arriving. The steak was in large strips, NOT bite sized pieces, which would have been fine if they had left me more than a fork with which to eat it. I could barely see any dressing on the salad. I found someone and asked for more dressing and a knife to use to cut my steak. I specifically said "to cut my steak". I got a plastic knife. The fork itself was metal, but as a steak cutting knife they gave me plastic??? It was not successful. The ranch dressing was.... Not ranch, or at least not in any discernible way. They described it as "scallion ranch", which sounded great, but ended up, in taste and consistency, being more like "dill milk". Not everyone dislikes dill as much as I do, but I couldn't detect any scallion, or any ranch. They didn't ask how I wanted the steak cooked, which is okay I guess, but not everyone would agree. It came out very rare. Now, I'm a medium rare gal and I can deal with rare, but just be aware. In addition, the steak was cold when it arrived, which is odd and means to me not freshly cooked, and there was gristle throughout- even if I had been able to cut it into smaller pieces rather than trying to bite off chunks like a rabid hyena, it would have been difficult to chew. My husband also had that problem with the steak in his sandwich. I did like the croutons, but it wasn't enough to save this experience. I wanted so badly to enjoy this and it had so much potential, but things I'd classify as stupid mistakes just ruined it for me.

Extra star for having gluten free bread for the sandwiches with only $1 upcharge. I got the Aleppo Chicken Stack on GF bread. The moz was great and there was lots of chicken. I would have expected the lemon zaatar aoili to add a bit more flavor than it did. The biggest problem is the chicken thigh, which is fat slices and chunks that don't work in a sandwich. The GF bread was soft and tasty, but fell apart immediately (I looked crazy trying to eat this). I would return but would ask for the bread to be toasted to give it more structure to support the ingrediants inside. I had to order online and take my food to go (according to the sign on the door) so I can't comment on the staff or service. It would be helpful to get a notification when the food is ready for pickup - which most ordering apps provide.

The food was excellent. This is a treat at the Power and Light district for those of us who want healthy food and not bar food. I had no idea about this place until I googled for places to eat near T-Mobile. My husband and I both enjoyed their sweet potato soup, which I highly recommend. He had the Thai bowl and I had the shrimp club salad that was excellent.

Lots of healthy options on the menu. I'll try for a bowl next time, because the Bacon Jam Club was super mid and very expensive for what it was. Couldn't taste the jam at all and overall dry. Tell me this doesn't kinda look like a picnic meal?

There's a new Modern Market Eatery that has arrived Power & Light District serving up some of the tastiest good for you food. Centrally located to everything you love downtown making it the perfect spot to grab a bite. Here's what I loved... - fresh salads, bowls, pizzas, soups and sandwiches - sweet treats that are delicious. cookies are a must try - new to menu bacon jam club was so good. 10/10 - offering wine & beer - fountain machine offering crushed ice and Boylan Bottling was very impressive - welcoming dining area - scenic patio seating - fast and friendly service - also offering catering - amazing rewards program and great specials

This is just as great as a Cava bowl! I got the lemongrass tuna and the tuna was honestly so fresh. The sauce was the best part! It was like a salty fish sauce but wasn't overpowering. The staff was really nice and suggested this bowl as my first time trying it. I was impressed by the bright ambiance and how clean looking the place was. I would recommend trying this place! They have so many options like salads, bowls, pizza, and desserts.
