It seems strange that after all of these years driving by here that I had never stepped foot in here prior to last night. Being a national chain probably is one reason that I've avoided when there are so many locally owned options in NKC. Two co-workers and I stopped in at 9:45pm on a Friday and the place was very empty; not a good sign for a place that advertises itself as a beer and pizza joint. I skipped both and ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger Roll off their limited time menu - sort of a hybrid between a pinwheel appetizer and a calzone. Served straight from the oven, the crust was crunchy with a gooey savory interior and the spicy dipping sauce made it even better. Four of the large pieces filled me up and allowed me to take 2 home for later. My coworkers mini pizza and calzone looked good and the staff were pleasant, so I will keep Old Chicago on my list for a return visit. Next time I Uber to NKC to brewery/bar hop, I might just start here since they have a ton of beer options including lots of KC and midwest options.

It's been a minute like a very loooooong minute since we've enjoyed Old Chicago. We were faithful patrons. Now back because we truly do love their Italian Nachos. It's a non traditional app but we love, when it's made right! Website reads: Pasta chips, mozzarella, pepper jack, pepperoni, pepperoncini, fresh green onions, Italian sausage and our signature red sauce. Now don't that sound delish! Yup, this time it was.. no burnt chips, plenty of pepperoni & Italian sausage.. oh my, just heavenly amounts of cheese and the sauce (muah) Hit THE SPOT! Oh and for completion of our OC pizza cravings.. the Sicilian Pepperoni Rolls! Cooked perfectly with cheesy pepperoni goodness! My tastebuds were dancing I tell ya! Had to warm up the nachos but that didn't take away the put together! Thank you OC for putting my desired craving to rest!!

Good people and good food. After a long day at work, a seat at the bar, a Chicago 7 pizza and a Stela Artois and my world is right. The staff here is always nice e and professional (and Chiefs fans). A seat at the bar is guaranteed to make you a friend. For being a natio al chain, there is definitely a neighborhood vibe gi en most of the bar patrons are local and regular. I highly reccomend if you are in NKC.

Went to Old Chicago in NKC. We waited about 15 minutes, no one came to take our order. No one cared when we left. I don't think we will be back.

The service was the BEST I've had, the server was so funny and enthusiastic! The place is has a friends vibe. My spicy chicken sandwich was good but not the best I've had. The fries are a little seasoned. The spaghetti and meatballs were ok and could use more seasoning.

Not sure why ratings for here are so low but I've been here probably a dozen times for lunch and have always enjoyed the service, the atmosphere and most importantly, the food every time. The hand-tossed pizza crust is my favorite and a two-topping pizza with a salad and drink is a common lunch special. You can get a specialty pizza for just a buck or two more. The food other than pizza is okay to terrific depending on your tastes and what you order. Disclaimer time: I don't drink alcohol at all so I can't tell you how the "taproom" part goes, so apologies from me there.

Read prior reviews and was skeptical. But this restaurant came through. Party of 6 and we were seated quickly. The restaurant was clean. our server was super nice and prompt. The pizza was and other items ordered were great! Food came out quickly and was hot and quality was on par. Pleasantly surprised! Would return to this Old Chicago location.

We waited over an hour for our pizza then was told they forgot to make it. Waited another 20 min and our severe came out and said well they dropped half your pizza coming out of the oven so they will have to make you another. No manger to be found.
