It's YE Gurl @ ProteinHouse Travel day rule #1: stay hydrated and stay sane -- especially when you're sharing a flight with folks whose hygiene choices are... creative. So, when Uber Eats offered that add-on feature, I decided to balance the chaos with something healthy from ProteinHouse. Their menu is stacked -- seriously, it was hard not to just go full meal mode. But I kept it light and landed on two fresh-squeezed juices: The Anti-Inflammatory ($10) - Celery, cucumber, pineapple, green apple, spinach, lemon, and ginger. The Gut Healing ($10) - Carrots, apple, oranges, lemon, celery, ginger, turmeric, cayenne, and black pepper. Both were tasty and definitely did the trick, but fair warning -- about a quarter of each bottle was foam. Probably not the best travel companion if you're looking for a perfectly smooth sip. Paired with our food from another spot, these juices activated the system -- like, immediate nose-blowing, congestion-clearing, "okay body, we're alive again" energy. Perfect pre-event prep before the Heartland party weekend kicked off. Sometimes wellness comes in a 16 oz bottle... even if it's 25% bubbles.

Another option in Power & Light that offers healthy alternatives. Grab a menu, which is massive in variety: burgers, wraps, salads, bowls, protein shakes and breakfast. Order at the register. Get a number. Grab a table and wait for food to be delivered to you. Silverware is packaged at the table. Self serve fountain drinks along with water. I had the salmon wrap and it was loaded with such fresh ingredients, although the salmon wasn't too flavorful. The combination avocado, tomato and spinach meshed into greatness. Now there was a bit of confusion within our group upon orders coming at different times. In addition we weren't sure about clearing the table was on us or the staff. We did it ourselves dropping our plates and cups to a stand near our table.

What an awesome concept. They have fresh healthy protein rich options. So many choices for keto, carnivore, low carb, low fat etc. Huge portions and many excellent configurations.

Healthy nutrient dense meal and close to the convention center. The ordering was efficient. The tofu could have used a little more flavor but overall satisfying. Lots of booths and tables to sit down and eat.

This was a great find near the Power Districr in downtown KC. You can eat healthy or find comfort food here. I chose the comfort food route by picking the Grain Fed Bison burger. The meat was juicy, full of flavor, regardless of wjat sauce was in this dish. Food took a while to come to your table once you ordered amd received a table number for your meal. Seats were comfortable, but the air conditioning was blasting too much for me personally. It is recommended you bring your utensils and plates to the trash bins instead of leaving them on your table upon departure.

This is a great option for a healthy and simple meal! After having BBQ the night before, I knew I wanted a fresh and well-balanced meal for lunch. I think it's great that you can customize the bowls to your liking, and offers so many healthy options to help you meet your protein goal. I ordered bison, which basically tasted like ground beef. The vegetables were all steamed, which made the dish even lighter. I wish there were more options like this around elsewhere!

If you're looking for fresh, healthy, and simply delicious food then this is the right place. The food is always ready on time and the staff are friendly. The atmosphere is clean and quiet for the most part with music playing in the background. They have juice and protein shake selections along with coffee options as well. Clean eating with many menu options including "build your own".

I ordered delivery and the order I received was delicious, healthy and exactly what I wanted! It's so great to find a place promoting healthy food that does not add a bunch of unnecessary sodium rich and oil covered vegetables. I ordered a "create your own bowl" and all veggies tasted fresh. The tofu was not smothered in oil. The sauce came on the side, which was great! Could I have made this exact thing at home? Of course and I am happy about that because the food does seem as fresh and healthy as if I were to have made it at home. To top it all off, the portion I received is enough for 2 meals! If you want something smothered in sauces, sodium and oil go elsewhere. If you want a legitimately healthy meal, without the additions, this is your place.

When you're on a strict diet and need an easy way to stay on track while counting/tracking your macros, this is a great go-to spot. The burrito I got was pretty good! While it may not be the tastiest burrito I've ever tried, it tastes clean like it's not loaded with fat and sodium. Keeping that in mind, I think it was great The atmosphere is pretty basic, but clean and bright.

I love this place we had it both days we were in town. I created a build your own shake and it was honestly soooo good. There's a green monster had too much almond butter you literally could only taste the almond butter and none of the fruit in the shake. The breakfast sandwich is thick, the eggs are folded nicely and turkey back is okay it oddly enough didn't taste like anything when I tried it separately. The fruit salad on the side was a great addition. We ordered online and once we got there our food and drinks were already made and drinks in the fridge waiting for us perfectly.
