I came in here after Pride one night. It was very busy but we got right in. The club is clean and the music was good. There is decent sized dance floor as you enter. The downstairs bar was extremely busy but for a post-Pride night, it flowed surprisingly well. There is a separate side room with chairs and couches if you need a break from all the dancing... or you can go to the covered outdoor area. There is also an upstairs which is much quieter. It has several tables and chairs as well as bar seating. The only caveat is that it does get roped off when it's over capacity (you can't go up until others leave). The vibe in here is great and we had a lot of fun. I'd love to visit again on a normal night.

Q KC is a vibe! Clean, cool, crowded (in the best way) with relatively cheap drinks and lots of spaces to check out. The dance floor (duh), the seating area, the back bar, the patio space, the upstairs bar ... Space for everyone! The DJ was playing all the hits and the club got Loud for "Pink Pony Club". Had a blast!

Q Kansas City is precisely what Westport needed! From the moment I walked in, the vibes were immaculate, welcoming, and full of energy. There was tons of seating (a rare gem in nightclubs!). The drinks were not only delicious but also reasonably priced, and the music? Absolutely phenomenal. The DJ had the whole place dancing without feeling overcrowded. The restrooms were clean, which always says a lot about how a place is run. Everyone I interacted with--staff and guests alike--was polite, smiling, and genuinely having a good time. Not a single drink was spilled on me, and even the occasional bump on the dance floor came with a quick and sincere apology. All in all, it was a 10/10 experience.

New gay bar in Westport!!!! A much needed LGBTQ+ space in the neighborhood. Cover is $10, and they even have a coat check for $3. Drinks are reasonably priced at around $5. There's a little something for everyone in this bar. The first room is full of cozy and instagramable seating. There's a dance floor with a stage surrounded by some booths. A long bar with high top tables. An outdoor space with a giant Q for a photo op (with heaters for chilly nights). The small bar upstairs gives speakeasy vibes -- quiet, romantic, and chill compared to the energy of the main floor. Parking in Westport can be a challenge. You either need to get lucky with street parking, or use the parking garage. I cannot wait to watch this bar succeed! This is a beautiful space with an important mission. This bar is a safe and welcoming place!
