My husband and I wanted to plan a trip to Ireland, our first trip "over the pond". While I normally plan our trips myself, I figured it would be best to try and enlist an expert to ensure we had the best experience possible. Kelly was wonderful in helping plan our 8 night/9 day Ireland trip. She answered my many questions, and there were a lot, gave great suggestions and made me at ease. 2 weeks before we left I decided I did not want to get a rental car as driving on the opposite side of the road started to freak me out. Kelly was like, "no worries at all, we don't want you stressed" and she quickly cancelled the car and booked us train tickets (which we totally enjoyed). Our trip was amazing and we so enjoyed ourselves largely due to Kelly's wonderful planning, asking the right questions and keeping us in budget. I would definitely recommend!

Kelly M. was incredible to work with. She was super knowledgeable and personable in working with our group trip to Cabo this past month. My flight home was changed by SW unbeknownst to me. However, Kelly jumped in (while in the midst of traveling herself) to correct the situation to my satisfaction. Great experience and highly recommended.

My first business with Shelton travel, I was impressed with their ability to schedule a overseas flight to one country and then set up the return flight home from another country. However I was disappointed that I was only given 1 choice of a hotel that was very expensive. When I questioned this, I was told that it was because the hotel was in an area that was close to all the sites I was interested in. I learned that this is how travel agencies make their money. My question is who is the agencies client, me or the hotel? I spoke with the owner of Shelton travel and he told me he would find a less expensive hotel. Needless to say, I never heard back. So if money is not an option then I would recommend Shelton travel, but remember, you are not their main client, so they will offer you what gives them the best bang for their buck. But they will be using your bucks.

Started out good with Ann Flanders referred to me from a coworker First mistake she ran my card without asking me which card to run as I've paid with several so she picked my bill card of course which threw my account into the negative that's one 2 She had me at the worst resort in Cancun I'm sure she wouldn't never stayed there The food was horrible mold in the room ill share pictures if you need to see yourself nobody spoke a lick of English sick every single day I don't know if I was the food or the mold. 3 she never said I had to pay luggage coming back as I gave her 190 for luggage if it wasn't both ways Wouldn't you tell me.We went to enjoy 60 Birthday it was a nightmare Plz do not refer people to the BlueBay resorts especially English speaking as we weren't along so many people complaining we were not alone.I won't do business ever again with Shelton Travel also was suppose to have a ride from Airport that didn't happen

We allowed Shelton Travel to take over a booking we had already made for Mediterranean cruise, thinking they would help us with our stays and tips in Athens and Venice, pre-and post-cruise. They only offered us expensive hotels that have deals with the cruise company, Celebrity. We did our own research and found much better centrally located and highly rated hotels. They also didn't offer us any tips on the complicated bus arrival in Venice, which made us waste a lot of time and effort. Their answer was that "we didn't ask." The owner had informed me that he had been to Venice many times, so I picked them for that reason. It's a puzzle to me why they didn't make this information forthcoming. We had no idea what to expect, so we didn't think to ask! It would be an easy service to offer a one-page sheet with Tips for Venice, for example. I can easily do that now for any friends who travel to Venice and I'm not a travel agent. Lesson learned--I wouldn't recommend this agency if you're traveling solo to an overseas city, like my husband and I did, as the assistance they provide is minimal at best.

One of the best trips ever. Went to Europe in February 2020 and really enjoyed all the careful planning by the agency. They've been in business since 1945 and their experience shows in the itinerary and hotel planning. We started in Rome, ended in Venice, total of 10 days. We stayed in nice (5 star out of 6) hotels, with custom tours. On the tours, just the 2 of us vs being on a big bus. We will use Shelton Travel again.

was very pleased with the service we got from Julie. No worries, no problems and let us know when and what to do this was our first cruise and an enjoyable one. We will be planning a Alaskan Cruise next and will be giving Julie a call. The only draw back was a excursion that was planned, was a total disappointment, but not the fault of the Agency. Possibly could investigate these a little more as a agency to let others know when one might be totally disappointed in an excursion and let the future customers know of the rip off Sandols Island was to my family and I.
