I've stayed at SpringHill Suites properties all over the country, and I appreciate the consistency. This one follows the brand standard with spacious rooms, an indoor pool, a well-equipped fitness center, and a complimentary full breakfast. The location is another plus--just minutes from Zona Rosa shopping and dining. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. The room itself was spotless, which I really appreciated. That said, there were a few maintenance issues worth noting. Our first room had an AC unit that wouldn't respond to the thermostat. Since no maintenance staff was available, the front desk moved us across the hall. Unfortunately, the new room had a few quirks of its own: the front door didn't lock properly, the shower made a high-pitched squeal when in use, and it continued dripping after being shut off. We shared these concerns with the front desk upon checkout, and I hope they're addressed. One small suggestion: it would be great if the AC unit had a deflector--right now, the cold air blows directly onto the bed, which isn't ideal. All in all, a good stay with strong service and amenities, but this property would benefit from a bit more attention to maintenance.

Stayed at the Springhill Suites near Zona Rosa during a recent Kansas City trip. New (to me), but very familar. Same floorplan, services, (especially complimentary breakfast & parking), and a good government rate. This hotel really reminds me why Springhill Suites is my favorite Marriott brand! The only hiccup with the stay (and it wasn't the hotels fault) was that I needed a hotel shuttle because of my early morning flight. I ended up returning my rental car the evening prior and paying for a ride share to and from the airport. If I were to use this Springhill in the future with an early morning flight again, I would end the stay a day early, and for the last night check into another hotel with an airport shuttle. Reasonable, enjoyable- recommend and will repeat when my travels take me back to Kansas City!

Very nice hotel . We got great prices on our room as well. Worth checking in to see if there are any promos or discounts. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean and very comfortable. The beds are wonderful! Breakfast is pretty good, but I recommend getting rid of the pre packaged waffles by bringing in a waffle maker with batter . Enjoyed the oatmeal with a variety of toppings. Very much enjoyed my stay here . Relaxing, luxurious and economical . Since they advertise a close location to the airport, it would be nice if they provided a shuttle to the airport. Housekeeping knocked at around 9:30 and attempted to open our door at 11:45 am. They need to keep better records on who has checked out before attempting to clean a room that we still occupied. Would definitely stay here again but a shuttle to the airport would be a great asset.

Love this hotel. Close to many shops. Sometimes it is hard to find the staff if they are smoking out front. I have stayed here several times. Always very clean.

The hotel was clean and nice but we were charged a fee equaling a second night because they were afraid we might steal something. It took a week to get that fee back! I don't appreciate being treated like a thief. We were not told of this practice when we reserved the room or we would have stayed elsewhere. The desk clerk was wearing a mask and almost impossible to understand. We probably won't return.

First time ever in Missouri. I came with dons friends for an event. The hotel is modern inside and out. Check in was great and because I'm a good rewards member, I'm thankful we were able to get in our rooms in the morning. Rooms were very clean, although I found some hair in our shower but nothing to go up in flames about. Beds are super comfy as always. The breakfast was okay but for my vegetarian/vegan pals, not many options except for fruit and you must get down there as soon as they start serving. Otherwise, once it's low/gone, the lady managing the area didn't bring more out. The lobby is very clean and inviting. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. There are many food options within walking distance and there's also a Starbucks next door. I recommend this location.

This property is only a year old and still smells new. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The property staff are very kind and helpful. The property manager is a true gem. Marriott should be very glad to have her in charge of this shop.

This hotel is 2 months old, according to the front desk staff. It's pretty obvious when you walk in and smell the new furniture and the interior still looks pristine. The assigned room I was given had a water leak from the bathroom sink. I wasn't upset since they quickly moved me next door in a similar room, however the locking deadbolt on the door wasn't functional and the air conditioning unit made noises throughout the night even with the power off. The room window view shows the 29 freeway and the new outdoor mall that is still under development. There are lots of eateries and I purposely selected this due to location, near the freeway and quick access to downtown KC. The front desk staff is very friendly and it's nice to stay at a new facility, even though a water leak or mishap is sure to occur in a new facility. The fitness center machines are brand new and it was nice to break in these machines. Breakfast variety was good, especially with fresh fruit being on display. I enjoyed the overall peace and quiet, regardless of the air conditioning unit mishap.
