I was glad it was over. It was a bit long. Did not find the clues that easy to follow. Dinner is good for a large catering.

The food was dry it was like cafeteria food. The actors where in need of more practice. I immediately knew who the " killer" was. The seating was regular hotel round tables and uncomfortable chairs. For $100.00 I was not impressed. all the clues where pointless it was just the try and throw you off. I do NOT recommend this experience.

Our experience wasn't the best. Definitely not worth the money we paid at all. My husband surprised me for my 30th birthday. We paid $185 for the both of us plus alcohol and parking. The actors were not as interactive as I thought, and the acting was poor. There was a ton of down time where no one was acting and no one was talking. The time between courses was long and the food was very small portions. The servers were not great and we were the very last people to get our main course despite being asked 3 times what we ordered. And we only ever got our water refilled once in the 3 hours we were there. I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone at such a high price. It wasn't worth even half of what we paid. Very disappointed over all considering price. My husband was not happy at all and felt it was a waste of money and was upset that was our experience for the surprise he set up for my 30th.

We had a really fun time - I think this is more fun as a group, instead of just a couple... The dinner was good, although DH said his chicken was a little salty; salmon was great for me. Cash bar, so we just stuck with tea. The entertainment is what you would expect - a little corny, but the actors seem to be enjoying it. A few people also paid to be a part of the show, so that was fun to see how they interacted with everyone. The space at Hotel Phillips is just an average hotel ballroom, but you can definitely enjoy the ambiance of the lobby and the bar downstairs.

This place is fun! This was my first Dinner Murder Mystery and they did not disappoint. Seating was in tables of 10 and we got to know our "table buddies" as we tried to solve the murder. The actors were seated at various tables and interacted with dinner guest as well. The food choices where limited to Chicken, salmon and vegetation. I had the chicken which was really good, but salty. My date had salmon, which was undercooked. Don't go for the food, go for the fun!

We went to the Valentine's Day show at the Crown Plaza and disappointment is an understatement. The overall show cost was almost $200 and drinks weren't included in the meal price (thankfully there was a bar to get us through it). The meal was only decent because it was the hotels catering, not the best or the worst thing I have ever had. The actresses weren't very good, but I can appreciate their effort as it was a large room and they had no sound amplifying equipment. The show felt like it had almost no production value at all. When they first came in I was so very confused that they were part of the show in the first place, like a high school theater with limited budget, none of the women were dressed for the part (literally no costumes, just a pair of handcuffs hanging out of their leggings). I thought there was a dress code? Maybe I was wrong, I came in a slinky dress and everyone around me was in jeans and T-shirts, 2 other parties had gotten the memo that there was a dress code. Overall just wasn't immersive and for the price we paid for it, save your money.

6:00 PM: Check-In 6:30 PM: Tray-Passed Hors d'Oeuvres 6:55 PM: Seating 7:15 PM: Act 1 Begins 7:35 PM: Salad Course This was taken straight from the website for the Dinner Detective. We arrived at the venue at 6:45. There were no tray passed Hors d'Oeuvres, those were already at the table on a small plate with our roll and included one olive, one very small bite size of feta cheese, one bite size piece of a jarred artichoke, and one bite size pastry puff. The salads had already been served to each guest when we arrived. Our party had 10 people but we only had 9 servings at our table. One of the two guests who arrived first told the wait staff we needed one more salad, water and silverware. We had to ask repeatedly to get these items for the 10th guest and everyone else had finished their salad before the 10th guest was finally served a salad, the salad was served without silverware so the 10th guest had to wait even longer to eat the salad!! When we arrived at 6:45 the show had already begun and a very rude female host was giving directions which included, "you will be quiet while I am talking". During the course of the evening many times she said "you will have to listen to what I am saying", I paid to be here I don't have to listen if I choose not to. One of our guests had requested no tomatoes, she if very allegoric. When the meals were served the wait staff said "here is your meal without tomatoes" the meal clearly had tomatoes and the sauce covering the chicken was a tomato based sauce. When we pointed this out to the wait staff she simply shrugged her shoulders and left, no offer to make a new meal or anything so that guest did not get to eat dinner!! A wait staff tried to take the plate of one of our guests three times, she was clearly still eating each time. When she was done eating no wait staff appeared to remove the plate so we had to sit with the dirty plate until the next scene. We also had to repeatedly ask for refills on tea. The host entered the room between the meal and dessert service and started talking and we could not hear what she was saying. A guest at our table mentioned she could not hear and a cohost of the event, female wearing pink and tights as pants, who happened to be near our table very rudely said to us, "if you would stop talking you would be able to hear" when we asked her if she was serious at that moment, meaning are you really speaking to guests this way, she said "Yes, very" I would suggest the host bangs cymbals when she wants to begin speaking or wants the audience to quiet down so she can be heard. This would add to the slap-stick comedy of the entire event. This was the worst experience and the food is sub-par at best. The cocktails also range $6.50-$9.00. Please don't spend your money here!!
