Stopped by West Bottoms with my girlfriend last weekend and we had a wonderful time! Though we didn't have enough time for the tour, the staff were super friendly and the upstairs seating was very comfortable. I had the best old fashioned in Kansas City which was very smooth and delicious. While I planned to get a second, I was intrigued by the coal fired old fashioned and am really glad I got it. The mixture of flavors was great and it exceeded my expectations! While I placed my first order downstairs, the staff were helpful and came upstairs to check on us several times and to take orders. Can't wait to go back!

Another amazing visit... Liz has never been here but her favorite old fashioned is the one from this place... I came in to grab a drink and get some spirits to go. I sat down, they were great about welcoming me, sitting me down. They presented me the menu, but I go with the new drink. The El Ferrocarril KC is a latino inspired cocktail and it was pretty good. It was a sour based whiskey drink with a tamarind flavor. I enjoyed the drink, but Liz would have loved it. Of course, I came in with every intention of having the KC's best old fashioned cocktail and I had it. Delicious. The crowd was small, but conversative and fun. I walked out with two bottles and a great vibe from this hidden gem in West Bottom.

Our experience might have not been top level due to a wedding party/group having been there at the same time and the two people working seeming stressed. The server never came to our table (until after we went to the bar an ordered) and the bartender seemed more interested in talking to the guy hanging out up there. We did sign up for their rewards program which gave a BOGO old fashioned, which was super great and those were brought back relatively quick. Our friends, who ordered before us, waited a while for theirs before going up to the bar to check the ETA. The drinks were both done and were just sitting there, so that was frustrating. Drinks were good but probably could've been better had the service not been lacking. The cats aren't friendly but seems like the places around there are feeding them, so that's not great.

Such a cool little spot! Like literally, small. But the vibe is great! Sit yourself and find a menu of some great concoctions! The whiskey is super delicious and not overwhelming. Service is super quick and knowledgeable. Do yourself a great treat and stop by.

We did the distillery tour. The cocktail area, which is an old train tunnel, has a very cool vibe and is where you start the tour. But I think distillery tour is an overstatement. You literally go next door into one room. They may be better off calling it a tasting rather than a tour.

Decided to grab a drink after an event that we went to. I got the Whiskey Waker. It's delicious. Glad that we finally had a chance to stop here. Service was great too!

A group of us scheduled a tour of the whiskey distillery and it was such a fun, unique experience! I'm not really a whiskey drinker, but they have plenty of wonderful non-whiskey cocktails for those like me. And for the whiskey-lovers, the options are phenomenal. After our tour we hung out in the main floor cocktail bar area and enjoyed some excellently crafted drinks and conversation in their warm and inviting space.

Absolutely wonderful experience from the moment we entered, our service, to the product. The atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable. The service explained all the details about their product. They focus on the blending side of whiskies, and it was appreciated. Furthermore, they had great, well thought out, cocktails.

We didn't eat any food but the old fashioneds we had were all amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the distillery tour as well. Even left with two bottles. The ambiance is pretty neat with the speakeasy vibes. Thanks for a great evening.

Great place for a craft whiskey drink. The inside is small, which is kind of a bummer if there's a group inside. There was a group of 10-15 when we went and we were able to get a table thankfully, and there was another group of 10 upstairs so we were lucky to get the table. They have a good whiskey loyalty program that my husband signed up for, which included buy one get one old fashioneds. The whiskey waker is their version of espresso martini, so good. We picked up a bottle of bourbon for home!
