I am going to start with WOW! This was hands down the best bbq I have ever had as far as the meats go. I was able to sample the pork and beef burnt ends, ribs, sausage and brisket. The burnt ends were so good I can't even find the words. They melted in your mouth and I couldn't say which was best, pork and beef equally amazing. The brisket was out of this world, flavor and texture just crazy good. The ribs and sausage were also exquisite. When I go back I will be getting both burnt ends and brisket for sure. The brisket and burnt ends truly blow places like Q39 away. No comparison. Note that beef burnt ends are only Thurs-Sunday The sides were good. I wasn't a huge fan of the beans, but they weren't bad. The Mac n cheese is pretty good, could be better. My friend liked her coleslaw too. I'll prob try fries next time, or maybe onion rings. The bbq sauce was completely unnecessary, but I tried a bit of their original and it was a bit sweet for me. The service was top notch and the restaurant had comfy seats and lots of parking outside. Lots of bar drinks to choose from. The chocolate crown sour drink was really amazing. I wish they had Pepsi instead of coke products, but I guess I can't have it all. Prices are not cheap, but portions are great and the flavors are out of this world. I really don't know what kind of sorcery is going on there, but I have been bewitched and will be back very very soon to take more newbies like me!

A cute little spot I've driven by this multiple times and never even noticed it. However, I stopped by for lunch a couple of weeks ago and had a very pleasant experience at Wolfpack. BBQ. Service was great and very friendly. Our server was open to recommending items for us and really showed that they cared about our dining experience there. I ordered their mac & cheese, which is an appetizer, as my entrée. It was a good portion and the pulled pork on top was good. The food was good not outstanding, but it's difficult to make stand out BBQ in a BBQ city like Kansas City, where there are a lot of great options on the market. I definitely open to going back and trying more items on their menu. The service itself is stand out and makes me want to go back. Street parking and lot available.

We came here after many people recommended it. There's so many BBQ restaurants here that you'll bound to find one or many, that you don't like. This was it for me. Parking is ok. Small lot next to the building. I could see parking being rough if it's busy. Hubs I went on a Saturday night and was surprised, they weren't as busy as I had expected. We walked in and it was seat yourself. The first part was a little warm but the back part had a huge fan in it that was circulating hot air. We sat in the front. Our waitstaff came over quickly to take our drink orders. I had a Coke and hubs had an Old Fashioned. My pop was sweeter than it should have been and hubs said his drink was ok. She came back to take our order and almost everything we tried to order was out. No ribs, no wings, no turkey, etc. We settled on pulled pork loaded fries which were very tasty. Then, it goes downhill. I had the pork belly burnt ends, baked beans and street corn salad. The burnt ends were ok as long as there was no sauce. The sauce was super duper sweet. Like super sweet. The hot version was just as sweet. The baked beans were also, super sweet. Well, mine were. Hubs got baked beans too and they weren't as sweet as mine. He also got pork belly burnt ends, jalapeño sausage and brisket. The sausage was dry. Later, hubs had an upset stomach. We think it was the brisket because I also.tasted his sausage and was fine. I didn't have any of the brisket. Over all, we won't be returning. Call me a good snob or even a BBQ snob but, nkt every place is good for everyone one.

I would like to say that Wolfpack BBQ has set a very high bar as a BBQ joint with excellent flavor and skillfully made barbecue meats that are cooked to perfection - perfectly tender and packed with great taste!! The restaurant is located near downtown close to the Vietnam café area and is tucked away in the smaller lanes near the Harrison Street DIY skate park. The place kind of looks modern with an old ceiling design that makes it feel like the restaurant was renovated, keeping the classic ceiling intact. There's also beautiful strip of handpainted art running along the upper walls throughout the restaurant and it's amazing to look at. The restaurant has just the right amount of meat, plates and burger options along with a wide variety of alcoholic drinks and they also have a huge bar area in the restaurant showcasing their options. We ordered the three meat plate as the main dish which came with ribs, jalapeño cheddar sausage, burnt ends, and two traditional sides of cold street corn salad. We got the loaded fries with chopped brisket as our appetizer. The sausage was incredibly meaty with just the right amount of cheddar cheese and jalapeño. The burnt ends were perfectly charred while still keeping their moist very tender taste (not oily at all) and the ribs didn't fall off the bone which I actually preferred but they were juicy well seasoned and tender and just the right way. The street con salad was served cold though!! I would've definitely liked it hot or at least it could have tasted a bit more like an Elote, so that wasn't my favorite one. The fries with chopped brisket with crispy, cheesy flavorful, and the brisket bits were crunchy and full of flavor. I was literally thanking God with every bite,all the food was that good. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. I love the barrel style bathroom sink, which was very cute and creative. This place topped the list of barbecue restaurants have tried so far even beating Slaps barbecue. I am sure you all will enjoy it as much as I did and it is also DOG FRIENDLY!!! Parking - Parking can be an issue on weekends or during lunch or dinner hours. If you are lucky, you could find some street parking If the small lot behind the restaurant is full. You can also park near the skate park area which I had to on Saturday afternoon.

24 hours later, I sit in solitude and quiet reverence remembering the single best plate of barbecue I've had in Kansas City. Wolfepack BBQ is the REAL DEAL. This is the Q I have been looking for. I went in for lunch on a Saturday about 3 PM. I wanted to catch the sweet spot between the lunch, rush and dinner. They frequently run out of food at dinner. That can be frustrating, as the first time we came we were turned away because they had just run out of everything after a large party came in with no notice and cleaned them out. However, that was actually encouraging to me because it tells me they don't hold food over from day to day and they make everything fresh daily, which the manager confirmed with me. That's how you have barbecue at this astronomical level consistently. It is the only way. So go early in the day if you want more selection. However, on this particular Saturday, they had everything I wanted, which was beef burnt ends (only available on Friday and Saturday), pork ribs, and brisket. I always have to try the beans and I asked the server whether he would recommend the lemon pepper coleslaw or country style potato salad. He said probably the coleslaw so that's what I got. He suggested it might be lighter with a three meat dinner. Well, I tried the beans first because that's one of my favorite things and beans have to be good for it to be a decent barbecue restaurant. These beans were slightly sweeter than I wanted them to be but otherwise perfect. They are the best beans I've had in Kansas City. (Joe's and Zarda are spots 2 & 3) The coleslaw was very nice and very different. I usually have to keep coleslaw for the end of the meal like a dessert because it's so sweet. But this one has lovely pepper and some vinegar so the acid is wonderful to cut the sweetness of the beans and the barbecue sauce. This is really special. I started off with a taste of the brisket, which was cut thicker as I prefer. It was very tender, but a little bit dry. Also, it wasn't cooked quite long enough because it was a little tough due to the fact that the muscle fibers weren't separating when you pulled on the brisket. So it just needs to be finished at a little bit higher temperature, like 205. The flavor was excellent and it had a really good mouth feel. I can't say this is the best brisket in town, but it's certainly among the top five. Next, I tried the spare ribs. I was blown away by these! When I was trying to decide which three meats to have the server piped up and said oh, you have to try the ribs. I found them to be perfectly cooked with great crust on both sides not cooked so long that they shrink away from the end of the bone. The pull of the bite was absolutely perfect. They had just a tiny bit of sauce on them at the end. So they weren't cloyingly sweet or any kind of burnt sauce flavor. They were really perfection. I would put them 1st or 2nd in town with Chef J being the other. Now to the real star of the show! Kansas City is known for burnt ends and you can get them lots of places here in town and they're usually just okay or even not that great. Slaps, Joe's, Q39 and even LC usually have pretty good burnt ends. Wolfepack BBQ is the GOAT. These burnt ends were perfectly crispy. The fat to meat ratio was spot on, and they were cooked absolutely perfectly. I never got any bite that was crunchy like an almond. Or mushy like baked eggplant. These were perfectly in the zone and perfectly flavored. As if touched by the finger of God Himself. If you're there on a Friday or Saturday, this should be your go to. Please leave some for me. The service here is excellent! You are greeted as soon as you walk in and told to sit anywhere you like. I love that. There's a great bar and the bartender was spot on the day. I was there. He was very friendly and kind. Great stories! When my friends come to town, I now have a new place to take them for great barbecue. Just make sure it's not too late for dinner. UPDATE: I returned a week later and the brisket was perfection. Absolutely amazing!! Also, Jenny is an amazing server. Ask for her.

A little hole in the wall spot that has a lot of flavor to it! I got the brisket sandwich, something you can't go wrong with, and it was amazing! Our waiter was amazing and made sure we were taken care of during our visit. You're gonna wanna check them out! Beautiful place as well!

I loved the food that I got at Wolfpack BBQ and Burgers. I had the brisket and burnt ends. These might be the best burnt ends that I've ever had. The French fries, onion rings, and other sides were just as good as the main features. There is no air conditioning and can get warm in the summer. I highly recommend the BBQ and meats at Wolfpack.

Hand the turkey and brisket. Both were great but liked the turkey more. Their service was friendly fast and casual. They kinda have a hipster vibe with beers on tap and murals on the walls. The place was clean and can hold a large group of people if need be. They have a parking lot and TV screens if you want to watch the game!

I forgot to grab the picture of the plates fresh, but cheese curds were so good and the meat was pretty good. Ribs came right off the bone and the pork Burt ends were juice and tender. I personally like when they are extra crispy but I was not disappointed. I bet the beef is even better tho. They serve Thursday - Sunday. It was a nice place to watch a game have a beer and just relax. Pricing is really good too!

Stopped in for lunch today and I am sad I didn't know about this place before today!!! Start off I walked in the door and was greeted by the bartender who told me Welcome in, sit anywhere you'd like. The bartender and another waitress were the only two I saw working. Even when they were running food or getting something, would check in (everything okay, I'll be right with you, Even saw one of them stop and help a little girl find the bathroom and not just point to the location but actually walked her to the area.) I was looking at the Burnends on the menu but they are only offered on certain days. I ordered the Brisket sandwich. It came out with a good portion sized sandwich. The brisket was cut maybe 1/4" think and was moist. Taste wise it had a good flavor with a nice bark. Bites pulled off the chunk and melted in your mouth. There were two sauces and original and a spicy. Both were good, I liked the flavor of the spicy better, which I didn't think was all that spicy. However the brisket was cooked so well and had such good flavors that it didn't need sauce in my opinion. The fries that came with my meal were double fried and have a really good flavor as well. Inside there is a large bar area with a large list of top shelf bourbons and other liquors. The taps they have are local breweries. There is a large seating area and another area off to the side. The outdoors area was also a large patio area.
