Cleanliness was so so. Our stay was scheduled for 3 nights and no fresh linens were provided. Maintenance was an afterthought. The bathroom door seemed broken - it wouldn't open except when lifting the handle (most handles will open when you push down). Place was lit up like a prison. All of the exterior lights face the building, shining into the rooms. The blinds on the windows do little to block out that much light - there was enough bleed through that I could navigate the room without the interior lights. Plenty of noise to be had from the other guests and the mechanical systems. Between the light and the noise, we got little sleep in the 2 nights we stayed. We went downstairs to check out on the 2nd morning - the office was locked up. Corporate said to slide the keys under the office door. Called later when they were open to ask for a refund and were told to call the next day when the Manager was in. Manager said that they needed 24 hours notice prior to check out to get a refund. Not only did they deny a refund, they gave us the run around to get the "official answer". Won't stay there again, even if they are the last option in KC (I'll bring a tent instead). This was a cheap room, and we got what we paid for. If you want a real hotel - go elsewhere.

Have been staying here for 10 months, the rates are outrageous, a guy was shot in the hallway within the first 3 months of my stay, the front desk is hardly helpful, and then my truck was stolen. Do not stay here if you're looking for more than a simple room. There's no ice machine, the vending machines are extremely overpriced, and the elevator takes 3 years to get anywhere.

This place is completely gross, all the floors are dirty, the walls, the bathroom, the whole place. Horrible place to say. All the crack heads hanging out in front. People smoking in the elevator. Would never recommend. Would rather sleep in our truck than stay at this place. We were only checked in for about 15 minutes.

If an option existed for negative stars, that's what I would give this hotel. For the second time, the hotel has informed me that they are overbooked and my reservation no longer exists. No apology, nothing. So, while I should be enjoying the Chiefs game I will instead be looking for a hotel room. Never again. I will never book a room at this hotel or at any WoodSpring location. This should be unacceptable in the industry and it should be monitored.

This is not a good or even decent hotel. This place needs to be shut down smells like mildew. Have to reprogram your key everyday you only get 2 towels and wash rags until Wednesday witch is there "cleaning day" what they clean I have no clue because this place is nasty. I travel for work so this is what was able to book because of the football game everything else was taken up. I know I'll never bring my family to one of these hotels.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend get away to go to the Kansas City Chiefs game and enjoy other KC activities. The hotel was in a convenient location and looked nice in the pictures. When we got there it looked like the pictures and was clean but the tv remote didn't work, there was no ice machine, only one small hand soap in the bathroom, the pillow cases looked dirty and our keys stopped working twice and we were only there for 2 nights. A lady also staying there told us that another couple staying at the hotel left early because they found cockroaches in their room. The only reason I give this hotel more than one star is for the kind and hard working man Steven who works here and seems to be the only person that does work at that hotel

I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago. The area was pretty sketchy. They did not have a person at the desk 24/7. They had a phone to call for customer service and hold took forever. My key never worked for my room. I had to constantly get a new key made and it was rather annoying. My room smelled bad. I was confronted in the elevator by a man and it was very uncomfortable for me. I had planned on staying for 8 days but decided to leave after 3 days. The manger said he would refund me the rest of the time I didn't stay but instead charged my card... I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Disgusting! As soon as we walked into our room the smell of smoke took over. Leaving us both with headaches! Don't stay here. Dirty and uncomfortable.

This place is the crustiest hotel on the planet, other customers were complaining about cockroaches in their room, the linoleum floors were sticky when we walked in and other people with reservations didn't even have their room cleaned to check into at 7pm. I would give this place no stars if you could, the only positive about this place is that it's close to Arrowhead Stadium. DO NOT STAY HERE.

When you hear Suite you think nicer than most, turns out this is an extended stay America facility. They advertise breakfast, but nothing. We had a kitchenette, but no utensils, pans or anything that would help you make food. The odor in the room was awful. We actually found several cockroaches crawling up the walls right above the bed. When we checked in and first got our room, the place was filthy, dirt on floor everywhere, especially the buildup behind the door. The one positive-our TV was broken, the manager did have it replaced the next morning. We stayed 3 nights during the playoff game versus Houston and they gouged the price during this stay. Thursday $59, Friday $109, Saturday $159 whereas the people we talked to who were staying there long term were only paying $30 a night. Friday night there was a bad winter storm, you wake up to go outside in the morning and the staff didn't even have the sidewalks cleaned off from the ice and snow. How dangerous!! I would rate less than 1 if I could.
